    Chickichanga

I enjoyed the Chickichanga burrito - especially the Vera Cruz sauce - and the potatoes had a seasoning that vaulted them into the upper echelon of breakfast potatoes. My wife enjoyed her breakfast tacos too. The service was good, and it's a really nice restaurant inside. Having said all that, I had a hard time finding something I really wanted to order; the menu is a bit too froufrou for plain folk like us. (Random examples: "whole grain artisan toast with all-natural house preserves", "all-natural sour cream", "Maldon sea salt", etc.). So while I wish them great success, it's not really my kind of place.

Purple haze! Glasses in the background from the juice samples from our wonderful waitress.

This was my first time dining at First Watch. Everything was absolutely amazing! The service was top tier!

Our breakfasts were great and our service was better. Calista did a great job getting everything we wanted in a timely fashion. Really appreciated the great service!!!!

I have been to first watch several times when I come to Loveland. I love that upbeat atmosphere and the service is always top notch. Today I decided to have the two for lunch. You get a choice of a half of a sandwich, one of their small salads, or soup. I have had their tomato bisque before it is delicious. Today I opted for the soup of the day, which was chicken rice. The soup was OK. I do prefer the tomato. The sandwich was loaded with sliced, smoked ham and Havarti cheese. It had thinly sliced tomato on a nicely grilled bread. I really thought the sandwich was delicious. It had a Dijon sauce which was just right. Hubby got fried eggs, bacon, and potatoes. Also a English muffin that seem to be homemade. Yum. Had some grits that were super tasty as well. I love the way they do their fried eggs here and they were perfect over medium. The bacon very flavorful. Hubby had their fresh squeezed orange juice, which was so sweet and delicious. I will definitely be coming back next time I'm in Loveland.

Always delighted with my morning meditation!

There are high end choices and lower end choices. I love the 2 choices for 7.99 it's economical and delicious and just the right amount. Of course the lemon ricotta pancakes are fabulous if you want to indulge yourself. The service can be a little slow but I think that's because there are always so many people and they seem to be short of help just like everywhere these days. I love the morning meditation juice drink. Get it with the added vitamin shot for an extra boost throughout your day.

First Watch took over for another local breakfast restaurant with a few locations. They re-did the interior in farmhouse chic and revamped the menu. The options went more upscale/healthy and away from some of the greasy spoon type options. For example, I had avocado toast with olive oil and two eggs for $12. Good flavor and a solid portion of avocado. Overall, their breakfasts are good and they make a solid club sandwich. Pricing is a little high for breakfast in my opinion but it is good enough to make me COME BACK.

Multigrain pancake $6 with a cup of fruit $3 . . . So so good!!!

Had an amazing breakfast this morning here at First Watch! Came in with my son who's almost 1, we shared and loved the multigrain pancake with granola and bananas added in and a cup of mixed fruit! Our waitress was wonderful as was the rest of the staff! Food came out quick and fresh! It was delicious!! Though I didn't order any special juices this time I have in the past and they are SO good! They have a new one that has turmeric and lemon in it . . . Mmmm ill definitely be trying that next time!

We love the food and staff but seriously disappointed of late . Got given a child like serving of juice because I asked for less ice . Also we always order million bacon but of late it's been 100$ bacon ... very small pieces and overcooked . Seriously we like you guys but lift your game a little more .

I don't remember her name by she has tattoos on her ears and is not Hispanic. She's awesome. Now for the two star review. I ordered the chicken fried steak and eggs. I can't believe l didn't send it back. The "steak" wouldn't even qualify as meat, let alone steak. It was mushy like pablum and was made to be eaten with a spoon. It was disgusting. It had some type of flavor, but it wasn't meat. I can't believe they had the nerve to call it "steak". I tried scraping off the 'fried' part but the whole thing had no body to it whatsoever and just fell apart. To be fair, my husband had a traditional bacon and eggs meal and he said it was good. What the heck happened? I know the prices of meat have gone up but again- it was not meat. Don't restaurants usually go to a cheaper cut of real meat? I was so disappointed and grossed out at the same time. I don't know if I can ever go back.

We immediately had drink orders taken and recommendations offered. The menu has something for everyone- pancakes, French toast, chicken and waffles, biscuits and gravy, bennys, omelets, and the there is a healthy choice menu as well as gf items; Non alcoholic as well as alcoholic cocktails, juices, and coffees available. I ordered a cappuccino to start with and it had a TON of froth on top- perfection! My daughter had a juice drink called the Cure- it was a bit heavy in the coconut water for her taste but it was delicious and came with a fresh slice of pineapple. We selected The breakfast sandwich and the blue corn huevos rancheros and we split a side cinnamon roll pancake. Let's talk perfection in a pancake-- this topped anything I've ever tasted- the fluffiest, softest, flavorful pancake. Perfect drizzles of cinnamon sugar covered with frosting. So so good. Lemon ricotta pancakes will be the choice next time. Didn't need syrup but it came warm and, heck yeah! Both our dishes came with hash browns which for our preference could have used a bit more crisp and salt( salt easily remedied). The breakfast sandwich had scrumptious, thick sourdough and generous portions of bacon, with pesto aioli and eggs of choice. Every bite was eaten, even the crusts -(adulting)! The huevos rancheros were tasty- perfect base of crunch but the main attraction was the soft and flavorful scrambled eggs and chorizo topped with Avacado crema. Taste buds satisfied as well as our hunger. Although we came in starving we had food to spare. Sam was attentive and friendly and we lingered in a comfortable setting. Ladies- check out the wishing wall in the restrooms- cute customer forward touch! Prices reasonable for all the food- you won't be sorry checking this place out.
