They offer GF, vegan, vegetarian, nut-free, and dairy-free options. The service was okay. Nothing great, nothing terrible. We ordered our food and the food was brought out to us. When we visited, the soda machines were down so we only had the option to try their teas/lemonades or canned options like Olipop or Topochico. I mixed a couple of their teas and lemonades to amp up the flavor since they're not sweetened. I ordered their garden steak salad which was a good, lighter dinner. The garden steak salad has garlic herb steak, mixed greens, roasted cremini mushroom, roasted cherry tomato, basil, avocado, pickled onion, ciabatta croutons, and citrus vinaigrette. The steak was tender, but didn't have much flavor in my opinion. I've been to Modern Market before and there's other options that are more flavorful like their green chicken chili. I took it home and ate it with some white rice. It was flavorful and filling. Overall a good spot if you're looking for a quick, healthy meal. read more

I love mod market. This location is conveniently located near a ton of businesses. The Buddha bowl is always tasty and very filling. I will say I could not find a trash can in this entire restaurant and did hear the table next to us saying the same thing when they wanted to throw away some items. I walked in on a Tuesday and ordered the Bahn Mi sandwich (which was delicious) and it was ready in what felt like 60 seconds. But your food comes out fast, on a good day, when they aren't busy, as soon as you sit down. They employ friendly people with bright futures and pro attitudes. It's decorated much nicer than a fast food place, because like I said before - it doesn't feel cheap. For me, that makes my experiences stand apart. My daughter and I really didn't know what to expect or what we wanted. the reason for the 4 stars verses 5 is i let the cashier know we had not been in before and they did not really offer much help to my questions. After we ordered, we went and sat down. They give you a number/tracking device and bring your food out to you when it is ready. I ordered a buddha bowl and some mashed potatoes. Everything was really yummy and tasted fresh. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating available. Would definitely come back in the future. I liked that they had their menu clearly labeled for gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options. I've enjoyed Modern Market in Denver and as a healthy option at DIA, so I was happy to see them expand to Fort Collins. Our first visit was a week ago - take out because I'm still preferring to eat outside or to-go. Our food order was good overall. We did have to wait a while for the order. This may have been due to a miscommunication as to me choosing to wait outside, but it was about a 15-20 minute wait which is longer than my normal experience. My daughter ordered the basil chicken sandwich. Husband ordered the chipotle steak sandwich. I ordered the Buddha bowl. The sandwiches appear very small for the high cost, but they are well-packed and so they end up being surprisingly filling. Both wished they hadn't been so skimpy on the accompanying side of chips- it was about a small handful. My Buddha bowl was satisfying, healthful, and was enough for a small second meal the next day. I look forward to a second trip to this location when it's warm enough to eat outside or I feel comfortable enough to eat inside. read more

Very busy during the week for lunch! There are many options to choose from. Honestly felt a little overwhelmed trying to make a selection. I would definitely suggest looking before hand as there is a lot, and you order is taken at the kiosk. I ordered the Blackened Chicken Mango bowl. Something that i was unaware of was that everything on this bowl was cold - doesn't mention this on the menu. It was as if the food from my plate was taken out of the freezer and quickly thawed under water (aside from the chicken). I wasn't too big of a fan of the chicken either though. We also ordered the Chipotle Steak Sandwich, which was good. Similar to the steak sandwich from Panera. Staff was kind enough to refund my order as I wasn't able to eat the food I was served (sensitive teeth to cold). Manager saw my food wasn't touched and I explained, and he was very very sweet enough to offer this. Really didn't give me an option! He was really awesome. I am rating this a 3/5 simply because of my experience, but I would be willing to come again and try something else and change my review then because it could be absolutely amazing! read more

Over priced. Also was not given a feedback button in my emailed receipt so here is my feedback. Your pizzas used to be great up to about a month or so ago. Now they are inconsistent and often under baked. My last two orders were extremely undercooked. If it's going to be $20 for a pizza that is personal sized it has to be on point every-time. Stopped by Modern Market Eatery this week to pickup dinner. Just did takeout, but the inside was clean and nice from what I could tell. If you shop at Sprouts, but don't want the hassle of compiling your own meal, then Modern Market Eatery is for you. There are plenty of fairly healthy options to choose from. My wife had the salmon curry bowl (4.5/5). I had the chicken basil sandwich (4.5/5). And that's AFTER driving 30-minutes to my house, refrigerating then for a couple hours, and eating them later. Great place to grab some healthy food to go or stop in for a really good meal. I've been told to try the steak next, and I'm looking forward to it! read more

The produce always fresh and comes from local markets. And we like healthy menu choices. But special the staff makes that more inviting and cheerful. Bomb Sandwich and Lemonade. I got the steak chipotle sandwich and ginger peach lemonade. Chipotle aioli was vey goooood. I'm Latina and at first I thought the sauce wouldn't be spicy, but it had some nice heat! Lemonade tasted fresh! Very good combo of the ginger and peach. As me and my friends made our way to the drink station we instantly noticed the refreshment area wasn't clean. the Pepsi logo on the drink dispenser fell twice while I was filling my drink and not to mention the Pepsi was oddly thick and just tasted like syrup. On to the food, the macaroni and cheese was undercooked and the cheese texture was rubber like . Also The tomato's in my pizza sauce weren't even cut. I really wanted to try this place since we moved here! Finally got our chance on a Saturday afternoon. My husband and I got a half pizza to split then I got a salad and he got a sandwich. Food wasn't too bad, but honestly nothing amazing. The atmosphere was okay. Not many people in the eating area, maybe 6 people? But the main reason I had to come down to two stars, the cleanliness was below average. Our table was sticky from dirty cleaner or someone before us. The wall had dried splashes of soda.. maybe? Then I went to grab some napkins.. a worker left a filthy wet rag next the napkins dispenser where they napkins were absorbing the dirty water on the rag. I am not complaining or raging!
