We have lived here in Berthoud going on 20 years, and in our opinion t's the best place to eat in town! We wish it was open for dinner, too!! We'd definitely go there regularly if it was! read more

Food is great, like home cooking. Price is reasonable. Coffee is good, especially the dark roast. Be careful if you add extra shots, the price goes way up. Service is at the counter and is pleasant. Especially with most of the baristas. Ambiance is homey and comfortable inside. All tables, no booths. Sometimes distance feels a little tight. And there are good tables outside when warm. read more

Kofe has an inviting and comfortable environment with great food and several options for specialty drinks, especially lattes and other fancy coffee drinks. The food is fresh and delicious. It is cooked once the order is placed which is another thing that makes Kofe special. (NO heat lamps or food sitting around ready to serve.) The staff is friendly and work hard. I was visiting from California and this coffee shop was aesthetically pleasing. Staff were so kind. I'm more of a tea person that coffee person so I opted in for the Arnold Palmer (iced tea lemonade). It was really good and the drink was perfectly balanced. Sweet but not too sweet. 5/5 read more

I had a great "adult grilled cheese" sandwich there, and very good iced tea, not overpriced like that Freelove place in Loveland.

Amazing vanilla bean scone!!! The Chai was delish and the staff super friendly. Oh yeah and as if all that wasn't enough, the place is decorated like you'd expect from the best coffee houses in the big cities. Next time your camping near Carter Lake, CO be sure to do yourself a flavor-favor and stop by. P.S. their WiFi service was super fast. Really great for coffee and if you want a quick bite they've got some options as well! I will say it was a little hard ordering... But they had the oat milk that I like, and they were able to customize my drink! I had a pumpkin spice latte and it was so tasty. The only thing I would recommend is getting cute cups with your logo so that way people can post pictures and be proud walking around with your brand! I love local over chain any day! read more

I stopped in for breakfast and was happily surprised. I was looking for coffee and hoping for something to eat. The menu had more options than I could hope for. A small coffee shop in a tinier town... But definitely one of my favorite cafe experiences! Over the course of my week in Berthoud I came 3 times and ordered 3 different lattes: Honey Bee (?), Unicorn, and a mint one (can't remember the name). Honey Bee (?) was my favorite, and maybe one of my favorite lattes ever. Honey was not too sweet but the distinct honey flavor was clear and paired wonderfully with the lavender, which was subtle and not soapy. Unicorn was perfect for sweet coffee lovers (a bit too sweet for me, but otherwise enjoyable). The mint one felt like the latte itself was confused about what it was supposed to be-- it was again a bit too sweet and the mint was not strong enough, just enough mint flavor to be conflicting and not "harmonious". Makes me miss Philz Mint Mojito. I also ordered avocado toast on everything bagel which was, for some reason, really salty. I also ordered the coconut chia pudding-- BEST chia pudding I've ever had!!! It was thick, creamy, with PLENTY of fresh sweet fruit. The granola confused me-- it was sugary and seemed like it was made of Lucky Charms. Other than that, a near perfect breakfast. Kofe's food prices are extremely affordable and so worth it, despite some minor flaws. If I could, I would definitely come back for that honey lavender latte!! Good coffee, terrible cooked food. I had a very good coffee but the omelette was undercooked with raw bacon, onions and peppers, and the French toast my wife had was burned black. I spent the afternoon suffering from a minor case of food poisoning. The new cook worked in fast food and does not know how to prepare anything else. The kofe house has such a good vibe to it, friendly staff, friendly customers and wonderful customer service. They make you feel like family. And theyve poured their heart and soul into this establishment. They feature an artist of the month, while also having a bookshelf filled with local art and and a free library. The windows are uv tinted so you can sit in front of the windows without worrying about a sunburnt. Theres also a super comfy wrap around booth. So much good coffee, food, and other stuff. We LOVE this cafe! Amazing coffee drinks and the food offered is really yummy! I always look on Facebook for pictures of their chef's latest creations. We enjoy relaxing while we satiate our palates and work on our art and writing no one hurries you. My daughter and I call in for a delivered lunch together every few weeks. Delivery is super fast and friendly, and the food is fresh! I love this place! We need more of these. I want one in Loveland area. Actual delicious food and a varied menu at a coffee place?? I am always looking for coffee places with good food, not just microwaved dry filler stuff. This place is cute, small, local, friendly staff, a sweet Pay it Forward wall for those in need of a pick me up or wanting to cheer others... we have had breakfast and late lunch here (it's open through the evening!!) and everything has been delicious. Don't confuse it with the drive thru location without the big food menu, unless u just want your basic little coffee drive thru, which is fine too. Kofe just opened in the former "Da Bean" location. It is a wonderful coffee shop! They completely renovated the interior and it has a very cozy, warm, open vibe. I'll definitely be hanging out there much more often. We went on opening day and the staff was excellent. They were friendly, our orders were perfect, and they were very quick, even though it was busy. Very impressed for an opening day! We didn't try any of the food, but will be back to try it. Their drinks were spot on and I was very happy with my latte. I'm so happy that we have a great sit-down coffee shop in Berthoud now. Yay! read more

I went there because it was convenient. Had I read the reviews, I would have stilled walked in, but with greater expectations. I love to support local. So when, I, a "local" walks into a "local" small-town coffee shop, one would expect a friendly morning greeting. That was not the case. The patron who stood at the counter was friendlier than the folks behind the counter! We ordered two slices of bread (zucchini and lemon), a bagel sandwich and a coffee. Nothing was special enough to make me want to go back. The bacon/egg/cheese sandwich lacked flavor/pizzaz. The bacon looked more like what a person would find on the shelf as a pre-cooked product. It was thin and tasteless. The bread must have come from frozen to microwave because the center was still frozen. I hope they could concentrate on improving at least one thing, the food or the service. I know its a personal choice, but I tend to eat at places with excellent customer service even if I don't love their food. The one star is accurate. The place is cute with lots of locally made gift items (candles, earrings, postcards.) read more
