I'm always on the lookout for new coffee spots to try, and while in Longmont, I had the chance to stumble upon OZO. I must say--I was pleasantly impressed by what they had to offer. Their crafted drinks are made fresh, with espresso shots pulled right in front of you the old-fashioned way. The selection of pastries and breakfast items is fresh and visually appealing. I tried the pumpkin graham cracker latte, and it was an absolute delight. While I know pumpkin isn't for everyone, what I loved about this drink was that it wasn't overly sweet. The coffee and seasonal flavors blended beautifully, creating a perfectly balanced taste. Though not pictured, I also had the berry cream cheese scone--and I honestly don't even have the words to describe it. Just thinking about it makes my mouth water. Everyone was incredibly friendly, and despite it being a busy Friday morning, the service was quick. The shop itself is super cute--small, intimate, and full of great vibes. read more

I like coming to OZO for their unique flavor offerings. I especially like the mocha with coconut and almond, it really tastes like that candy bar mounds. They have a lot of really fun other mocha combinations that will be sure to appeal to any flavor craving that I might have in the future. The new app they made in the last few years made ordering even easier, which I appreciate. I know during COVID they also offered pick up service with coffees waiting outside the store, and I really thought that was very thoughtful. For me, I am not a huge fan of their pastry offerings, but in a pinch I would partake in a cookie now and again. This location is consistently busy, so its sometimes hard to get any kind of parking in front of the location. There is a lot of parking behind the venue, including some handicap spots but if you are needing assistance in walking in any way shape or form, this location is more challenging to get into proximity with for parking. read more

I had to take my dad to an appointment and was in desperate need of a coffee fix. This place was nearby so I thought I would give it a try. Located in a shopping mall with easy parking nearby, this place was rather busy. There was consistently a line of people and I can understand why. If you are in a hurry, this may not be the best spot. I ordered a latte and it took some time for it to arrive, but was worth the wait. The staff was friendly and easy going. The venue had a laid back vibe and was clean and open. Plenty of communal seating. I especially liked that the music wasn't too loud and you didn't have to yell to be heard. Along with the latte that was delicious and had a deep rich taste without being overpowering, I order a blueberry danish. The danish was okay. It had a nice flaky pastry with a tart blueberries and cream cheese. Overall I would say it was a great experience and I would happily go back again. read more

What an awesome place. My niece introduced me to this spot this morning as we enjoyed a coffee. Great service and huge selection in food options. Ozo in Longmont used to be my favorite go-to for a relaxing coffee and food. But lately, on more than one occasion, the coffee has been disappointing. My lattes are bitter and way too hot. Seems the machine needs cleaning and the barista needs to pay more attention to the temperature of the milk. Recently when I told him I was unhappy with my latte, he laughed and didn't offer to make it over. Perhaps he thought i was joking but It was very disappointing. read more

This Ozo location is located in the Village at the Peaka shopping center where you will also find a Whole Foods, theater and many restaurants including fast food. There is ample parking regardless of your timing. There may be a line waiting to place an order and a short wait but it is worth it. Talk about delicious coffee! Skip Starbucks next time. wanted decaf coffee. they don't have brewed decaf. must get a pour over. the pour over takes about 5 minutes. it is NOT hot. it's warm at best. asked for it to go. gave me an in house mug. asked and paid for a 12 oz coffee. they gave me an 8 ounce before I reminded them. $5.00 for a 12 ounce coffee is ridiculous! Ozo has adopted an odd business strategy of not listing prices for value as products... anywhere. There aren't price tags in the displays, the cashier didn't know the prices besides "six something and seven something", and she also indicated the online menu may not have prices listed. So if you are a budgeter or watch your dollars, consider Ozo a yellow flag... they expect you to come in with an open wallet and laissez-faire attitude about buying stuff without knowing the price. This applies for the beverage cooler and pastry display. I've worked many years in food service and there are MANY options for displaying variable pricing while being eco friendly. Ozo just doesn't care for you to be aware of the price before you swipe. I dislike their coffee. That's personal preference, they didn't lose stars for it. They only keep the Ozo blend on drip and it's boring. Not burnt like Folgers, just a little sour and nothing to write home about. I made the mistake of buying a punch card, which only gets you 12 of the exact beverage you purchased, so I'm stuck with 4 more drips and then I'll never have to come here again! The cost has been increasing for decreasing bag sizes when you buy bulk beans (this is one thing in the store where there is a price tag). They will grind anything you buy to a desired size, just ask as you're checking out. They will also make any kind of coffee you can imagine. This place is truly for the coffee snobs of Boulder County. The environment is fine. There are lots of different seating options, including outdoors and near a fire pit. This is a social hub on weekends so be prepared for lots of people, noise, kids and dogs (on the patio). When it's busy the coffee bar side gets very crowded. This is also where the restroom is located so if you're needing accessibility this place really isn't, in practice. read more

I'm not always a fan of mochas (they tend to be too sweet for me!) but I decided to try one at Ozo, since it's their specialty... and I'm glad I did! I got the (iced) Loch Ness mocha which is made with dark chocolate and mint, and it was delicious! The espresso complimented the mocha well, and I was still able to taste the coffee through the other flavors, which is always my preference! Ozo follows my rule that all chai in Colorado is good chai. You Coloradans don't know how lucky you have it. Anywhere else I ONLY order chai if the place comes up on Yelp when I do a search for chai AND the reviews of the chai are outstanding. And still only like three places in the Bay Area have made the grade. I can't shake a stick in Colorado without getting good chai. Even random breakfast places get it right. I love the chai at Ozo. And this is the only place that offers cholaca. I don't know exactly what cholaca is but it seems to be some sort of chocolate or chocolate flavoring. Both times I've been here I got my chai with a half cholaca shot and it was just perfect. My chai still tasted like chai unlike the times I've ordered chocolate chai and it tasted like hot chocolate. My first visit I had a hot bhakti chai latte. The husband was doubtful - he hasn't liked my spicy chais in the past - but said it grew on him. Theirs was one of the spicier ones I've had. The second visit I tried the sherpa chai (again with a half shot of cholaca), which is a more cinnamonny sweet chai but still had some spiciness to it. I have a feeling this is the way to go since the bhakti might have been too spicy. It's hard to compare though since I don't live in Longmont and my visits were half a year apart. I suspect that sherpa chai is a concentrate (and not made in house) as I think that's what La Vita Bella uses, but it tastes good and that's what's important. The baristas are really friendly and answered all my chai and cholaca questions and made suggestions. The double cocoa cookie and banana chocolate bread have been excellent. Both of my visits have been in the late afternoon and I have to say Ozo is not a comfortable place to linger. The first level is blindingly sunny then. (I feel sorry for the servers - the sun must constantly be in their eyes.) Plus, there is barely any seating and the second level is always full (probably because of people escaping the sun). The first time we shared a communal table and the second time we got the only two-top left. If a dirty chai is your go to, do not go here. Got a mix of sherpa (sweet) and bhakti (spicy) with espresso shot in it and it was gross. This is what I always get whenever I go to a coffee shop and I'm not sure if it was the mixture of the two or if just one of the chais is bad but this drink was disgusting. Ozo, has become our favorite place to stop for coffee and green tea. Compared to the other options in town, this to us is the best that there is, namely for their cold brew, which is fantastic. After coming here for a couple of years now, I just learned that this is actually a chain and there are more. I'm not sure why I have never seen any nor thought to look into it. Based on the way that the shop is laid out and the quality of the drinks, I never would have suspected that this wasn't a local only shop. The store is always clean and organized and the staff is overly nice and friendly and don't come with any of the pretentious attitudes that can be found in other coffee shops and big chains. On top of having various coffees and teas, they have a nice little "additions" section for whatever you might want to put in your coffee or tea, like syrups, agave, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, milks, etc. All complimentary. They also have a small section to sample some of the coffees before you buy if you're feeling a need for a change. Really great little shop with indoors, outdoors, and an upper level for sitting. Also given its location within the Village, there is a firepit just a few feet outside of the doors if you want to relax by a fire. I'm not familiar with this area at all but my son and I ended up here after dropping off our car to get serviced. We were walking to get ice cream when we passed Ozo Coffee. Kiddo got ice cream from somewhere else near by but of course, I wanted coffee! Upon entering Ozo coffee, we were promptly greeted. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The building was very nice. We couldn't sit in there due to covid, so there could only be 5 customers in the building at a time. I'd love to come back and be able to sit in there. I got a 16 ounce nitro cold brew with vanilla and half and half. It was very good and strong like a nitro should be. I love that they use compost able cups! The location is great! There is a little play area right across the street that we went to after. It has beautiful fountain/waterfall and swinging chairs. We will for sure come by again when we are in the area! read more

We are visiting my sister and she said we are staying by her favorite coffee place. So, of course I had to try it. On the first dat, I ordered the Berry White Mocha and it was DELICIOUS! It was the perfect amount of sweetness and the espresso was delightfully rich. In addition to the amazing coffee, I loved the atmosphere. Black Lives Matter and rainbow flags hang inside and all gender bathrooms are available. It is a welcoming place for all as I hope the whole world will embrace.
