On a recent visit to Boulder, I visited this quaint little coffee shop. Been there since 1977 and it's as if that warm and caring memory is served in each cup. You can choose from a variety of single origin and blends to brew a pour over. They also had a Turkish coffee setup that looked legit. I would love to go back and hope it's soon!! read more

Drove far out of my way to check out this place. Arrived at 3:58 and door was locked. All the lights were on and staff was there, sign says open till 5:00. So does website. Major bummer and a little irritated. I understand things happen but the staff was visible inside and they clearly noticed we were trying to enter and figure out what was going on but didn't show any hospitality with "I'm sorry folks." Just looked at us. A Sign on door or brief encounter would have been nice. Several others after us seemed mystified too. I was so excited to try it out because I've been looking for a cozy friendly coffee house here in my new neighborhood and haven't found it yet. Not sure if I'll be back just because of this poor hospitality experience. This is my first ever critical review. read more

What a neat shop! This place is serious about their coffee! Their menu offers single origin coffees from around the world, so you can travel from the comfort of a lounge chair and warm mug. Plenty of seating with comfy reading chairs paired with a hot pour over. What more could you want? The service was great and incredibly helpful in picking my beans. My favorite coffee shop! Brewing Market makes the best cold brew in town (along with other great drinks!) and has so many good pastries and coffee/tea supplies. Very disappointed in the service today. The woman with tattoos and a bunch of rings working the register today at 12PM was snotty and rude. I had to wait for her to finish a conversation with the other employee before she would even acknowledge me. Even after that, there was no "hello, can I help you" she just stared at me with an occasional snarky smirk on her face as if she couldn't be bothered. I usually visit during the weekend and the staff is very polite and on point. I rarely visit around 12PM weekdays but today I did and the staff definitely needs more training in customer service. read more

I love this location! The business was consistent while I was there but the indoor seating areas stayed pretty vacant despite all the customers, so it was easy to curl up in a corner and read without distraction. The coffee was great, too, and the barista was very helpful with any questions I had. I'd definitely recommend it as a cute little hangout spot! read more

It's a nice little spot to come to if you're in the area looking for a good latte or a pour over to get you going. The decor is nice and sets a really friendly tone. Keep in mind we're in a pandemic so there are precautions in place to follow for the safety of yourself and others. I enjoyed the pour over and would definitely come back if I lived in the area. I was impressed with the flavor it had and my gf got a latte (hate that I forgot which one) but it tasted great, a little too sweet for my liking but she said it was great so I'll take her word for it. A great little place to stop in for a nice cup of joe and I'm sure that if we weren't in a pandemic a great place to just hang around and strike up some nice conversations with the nice people around and the baristas! read more

this is one of my favorite places for tasty beverages. When I go to hang out with friends or by myself I am always ordering a tea and a coffee, sometimes even walking out with an extra tea!! Their coffee is very strong, so if you like a lighter variety let them know or order a half amount of whatever you get. I also love their non-beverage items. They have these awesome euro chocolates, a rack of the gummy haribo varieties, pastries and some basic grab-n-go snacks too. They have a big selection of loose leaf teas. For me, highlights are always the seasonal specialty teas. I love getting them for out of town guests as well as keeping them in my own tea pantry stock. They are really good about letting you buy a cup of tea to taste it before you commit to a big bag of it at home. Another special item they have is a turkish coffee. This is a very strong coffee with a special unique flavor. I would make anyone who is authentic totally cringe at the way I doctor it up with cream, but its SOOOO good. So good! They have free wifi you can ask for at the counter, a poke stop, clean bathrooms and comfy seating to hang out in. I visit this location because their espresso is decent and its by my house. Their stated hours online and on their door are open until 5pm daily. I have been in here multiple times where they close randomly and very early- like 3+ hours early. When I come to a coffeeshop and spend money to sip an expensive beverage, I at least hope to enjoy it longer than 10 minutes, which I was just asked to leave after sitting down with my drink because, again, they decided to close early. I've been visiting coffeeshops around the world on an almost daily basis and inconsistency in keeping the hours you state you will be open is one of the biggest failures for a coffeeshop. Cool place in kind of a funky part of the Front Range. We met friends at the Longmont Farmers Mkt and dipped out to head here when it got too hot. Extensive coffee menu, well worth some real perusing. Some very distinctive coffee apparatus as well - a couple of things I had not seen elsewhere and quite reasonably priced. Evidently a hub for the coffee folks in the greater area - we all enjoyed our wide range of drinks in comfortable space, on a hot Sat AM. Food was fine - the focus is clearly on the coffee, but food options were more than adequate. Will return on trips through the area! read more

Mark my words... As of today, brewing market had the best coffee of my short coffee drinking life. And just in general, the best experience at a coffeeshop I've ever had. Although not the most instagram-worthy place, the environment and brewing market is very functional. Any type of seating you can imagine, besides a bean bag chair, brewing market offers: hard chair, cushioned chair, sofa, booths, etc. It's all about the options and I can really appreciate that! Moreover, even with all that seating, it's extremely spacious. I hate how Starbucks and a lot of other coffee places try their best to cram as many tables in as possible. So much so that you can hear a person across the room take a breath... Lastly, i can really respect how strategically located brewing market was: tons of naturally lighting beams in and is surrounded by ample parking and not close to any loud streets. Service here is superb. The baristas were so accommodating. They recommended a drink to my friend and promised that if it didn't jive with her then they'd switch out her coffee. Unfortunately the exotic matte chai didn't exactly go well for her, but they kept up their end of the bargain and she was very pleased to be able to try something new without any repercussions. As for me, I kept it safe with a hazelnut iced coffee. But unbeknownst to me, it would be the most amazing hazelnut iced coffee I've ever sipped. And I've tried many a hazelnut flavored drink to adequately compare. I don't know what they put into my cup but the flavor sensation literally flooded over me. I know it feels like I'm exaggerating for review flare, but really... I'm not. 10 stars! Would be here every day if I didn't live so far away. Sads. read more

Compared to the one in Boulder, this one is a train-wreck, takes forever to get a latte. As far as buying coffee here, the staff is clueless, my wife asked for a dark roast Sumatran, and they said they didn't have such a roast??? Hello, Indonesian Dark anyone?? Last time I checked, Sumatra was still in Indonesia, all though, who knows with all the tsunamis & eruptions. Coffee: 3 I've spent many many hours in this Brewing Market and I love it. I love the local Chai, I love the couches, I love the tables near the outlets, and I love the free wi-fi. However, I don't love their brewed coffee. It has a strange, bitter (sort of lemony bitter - that sour taste) after-taste which I'm not too fond of. Despite the brewed coffee, I'll come back only because of the great ambiance and the good service. I'll just grab an Americano. read more

As a busy college student, I frequently need my daily dose of caffeine. I would never even consider going anywhere else except for the Brewing Market. In fact, I go out of my way to get my coffee there, and then head to Boulder for the day. I frequent the Longmont Brewing market so much, that my coffee is sometimes made before I even walk in the door. I always get a large blonde mocha, which I highly recommend. It's like happiness in a cup. If you're like me and enjoy the stronger, yet sweeter cup o' Joe, this is the perfect drink for you. In addition to the delicious coffee, the atmosphere is delightful. It's s great place to do homework, or even read a nice book. You have a choice of table or couch. If you pick the couch, you'll feel just like you're at home. And of course, the employees are that of the highest caliber. Jonny, a kindhearted gentleman, will always spark a conversation that makes you smile. Ashley, the beautiful woman with the awesome tattoos loves to ensure premium customer service, and always makes you leave with a big smile. (And the perfect cup of deliciousness). Sharon, the manager of the Longmont store goes out of her way to ensure each customer has exactly what they came for. I say, screw Starbucks. This place is a pleasant surprise. It's a chain but it doesn't feel like it. The staff are super friendly, the place clean and large, there are plenty of people hanging out and having conversations, working, and enjoying caffeine. The coffee is also fantastic (and can be paired with a variety of chocolate and gf treats that they have available). Usually when I hit a city I'll try a few places to try and find the best coffee/experience. The Brewing Market was the first place I tried, and I didn't bother to go anywhere else. As an added bonus, there is a huge parking lot so you are able to park large vehicles (see my recent Avis Denver Airport review) and not have to worry about hitting something while attempting to park. read more

After a longer than expected trip from Chicago, I needed a good cup of coffee. Brewing Market delivered superlatively!

I will preface this by saying the coffe is good and there is empty tables so if that's all you need this is a five star joint. But if youre lgbt or look alt in any way the staff will loose their smile and push you through the line as quick as possible. I went there to drink coffee and prep for my D&D session that night and it took me a while to shake off the feeling of being unwelcome. Overall disapointing from a boulder owned company. read more

When i'm in the area, this is one of my favorite places to stop for Iced Coffee - at least in terms of quality. The coffee is very good. The flavor options are good. The people are very nice here. My one complaint, which is the same complaint I have about most of the coffee shops in the area, is size. The size of the large iced coffee is simply not big enough for the amount of morning coffee intake I need. It would be great if they kept everything the same and just offered a larger size for the iced coffee. read more

Loves it. This place is consistently brewing fresh coffee with friendly service. I have only gotten the Blonde Mocha, but it's great every time. They have a selection of chocolates and mugs/brewing contraptions you can purchase as well. A friend told me that she noticed they put four shots of espresso in her extra large coffee, while Starbucks only puts two. So bring on the caffeine and support local business! read more

If you drink Chai Tea you have to try Brewing Markets. They get their tea from a local brewer. it has a blend of spices that makes it authentic, and original to Brewing Market. Always a reliable spot for good coffee, with a nice selection of whole bean options for the home grinder. The recent renovation/added seating makes this my new favorite office-away-from-my-office. An added bonus is the sheer abundance of outlets; almost every seat has a plug. So bring your laptop, and your phone-charger, maybe a hair-dryer, perhaps even your own coffee-maker; the staff is so friendly they won't object. read more
