Extreamly disappointing. I am a regular at First Watch. I frequently visit many of their locations I was actual at the Tamarac location the day before for lunch and would have given it a 5 star rating, but not today. It must have been a bad day because every table (outside during lunch asked for a manger; ironically 3 different people can out saying they were managers. I ordered the lemon ricotta pancakes with a Nut allergy and no powdered sugar. You guessed it ... powdered sugar. I asked them to remake them and they did ok. 30 minutes later I walked back to the kitchen and politely asked about my meal. The manager said he remade them personally but they must have been delivered to the wrong table. He had made a new order but they were sitting under the lamp waiting for someone to take them out. It would have been nice if someone had come to my table to tell me about the mix up. Mean while I am sitting at a table looking like a fool as my co-workers are eating their lunch. Thanks First Watch. This behavior is unlike a typical experience at a First Watch restaurant. I hope they improve, otherwise their current team of employees are not going to last too long. read more

Why wait, check in online..... and wait an additional 45 minutes. Last time I was here I was recommended by the staff to check in ahead of time, and you can essentially have a spot held for in line. Decided to give it a try this time, we were scheduled to come in at 11:25am, arrived on time, had to wait 10 minutes in line to physically "check in" where we were told we had to wait an additional 45 minutes even though checking in online gave us a designated time. We decided to wait the 45 minutes outside in the car because we were told we would receive a text when our table was available. 45 minutes later..... nothing. Went inside again and was told that I had 8 people in front of me and that it would take an additional 30 minutes. Whelp at this point I was pretty HANGRY but didn't let it get to me, told the host that they could take me off the list and that I'll be going somewhere else. Right down the road is metro diner they have a great staff and the food was great. I wasn't going to write a review or anything because I usually don't, but I just received a text telling me my table is ready an hour and 20 minutes after my original time... after telling them to take me off the wait list.... I just had to laugh and tell my story I've been to the first watch at Deerfield they are great and have used the online check in with them and never had an issue. I'll be making the extra drive to go there instead of this location. read more

Lauderhill location on Commercial Today was the first time and definitely will NOT be my last!!! The place was so clean and the food was delicious!!! I had a hard time choosing what to eat because everything on the menu sounded so good!!! My server Claudia was funny and attentive and she even took the time to go over the menu with me since I'd never been there before! She definitely made a difference in my first impression of this place! The manager was great as well and definitely cared about our experience while there! We have been to First Watch many times, but this is the first time in your new restaurant. Love this place. The staff are very friendly and our server was very polite. I like this place a lot for breakfast. Fresh food and have always had a pleasant experience.

Decided to try the new location, hoping it would be a great experience as it usually is. We got seated right away, however it took about 10-15 minutes of wait time before we were offered anything to drink. Once the server came by, she did apologize and took our order. This is where we probably should've walked out, the food took over an hour and half to be brought out. The server did not come by one time to update us on the status. This completely ruined our experience and impression of this new location. When we checked out to pay, the only thing that was said was there was some sort of issue in the kitchen, which at no point was communicated to us or other patrons, which ended up walking out. All in all not the best dining experience. Not sure that I'd come back. read more

The food is presented beautifully and the service is amazing! The atmosphere is comforting, it's clean, feels fancy, and the prices are reasonable. I've been a fan since we discovered it in Naples day after Cher concert. Been eating at the ones near and around the house. Food is always great! But the 3 stars is for service. They just opened a new location in my area and it's already always packed. The waiting lines are long but the food is worth it. I've also noticed they've added a few new things to the menu like the veggie burger made with rice and barley I believe. It was delicious. The seasonal fruit was fresh and juicy. Food is great. The issue is with the service. Always seems to be understaffed. Takes FOREVER to get someone to pick up the phone and many times NO ONE WILL ANSWER AT ALL. I've been craving breakfast foods above all else and was excited to see this location finally opening after quarantine. The place looked orderly and clean, so it felt safe dining in, which I'm glad I did because the service and food were excellent! Omg... so good! So far, we've only eaten their breakfast, but let me tell you, it was so yummy! My eggs were cooked perfectly, the bacon was hearty and crisp, and they did not burn my toast! Lol. Love love love First Watch! I go at least twice a month. I have been to several of their locations and have never been disappointed. This location is new and it definitely holds up. Alyssa Rivers was our waitress and she was great. It's always busy so I suggest joining the waitlist on here. Definitely try the Million Dollar Bacon. It's amazing. An awesome breakfast spot in Fort Lauderdale. Fresh food, the waffle and berry compote is to die for. The compote is warm and makes the meal even better. Today's experience was very, very poor and I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Reasons: The staff is poorly trained, i.e., the very minute someone sits down they are asking for your order, before one has an opportunity to even read the menu, thereby indicating that they really want the customer to hurry up and get out of their way. The servings were very, very small and very poorly prepared. What was represented as two, scrambled eggs was not properly scrambled and could not have been more than one medium sized egg with absolutely no seasoning. The bacon had no flavor, the toast was not buttered and none was served. Additionally, because of the decor design, and the open kitchen, the noise level prevents any kind of conversation to your dinning partners. Worst of all, everything was ice cold. read more

I'm very disappointed with their service. On June 2nd 2019 at 10:13am made reservations for 6 on the app said it would take 45-60 minutes waiting time. We waited for close to 2 hours. Compliant to staff and poor management we ended up leaving. There were many times that an effort could have been made to accommodate our seating and we were over looked. We never asked for a booth. Management said that they were waiting for a booth yet there was tables of 4 that could have been combined. No effort was made. They did not even asked us to seat us to seat 4 and 2 separately. So disappointed that my sisters start of her birthday was a disappointment one because of First Watch. I do not recommend to visit this location. read more
