The food was not bad. It was good but it's definitely not the best Jamaican food I've ever had. The jerk chicken was pretty dry. The sweet chili was actually the best thing I ate. My husband enjoyed the pasta but I didn't. I thought it had too much diced onions in it. The rice and peas were good. The plantains could have been softer. Overall the food was okay. I placed my order online an hour before the scheduled pickup time, but when I arrived, my food was still not ready. What made the experience even more disappointing was the attitude of the staff when I asked about my order. If a restaurant cannot fulfill online orders within the promised timeframe, it should reconsider offering that service. It is extremely frustrating to place an order ahead of time during a lunch break and then have to wait while customers who arrived after me are served first. The food itself was good, but the customer service and overall organization need significant improvement. Terrible! My first time going there and I ordered a medium curry goat/rice and peas drove 30min for pure bones and a soup like mess! I tried to call and let them know and the girl who answered the call basically said to me "curry goat has bones" like I'm dumb. The bones were not even attached to the meat just bits of meet and pure bones and gravy. It was like they didn't have enough and just gave me the bits and pieces left in a whole bunch of gravy and bones. Almost $20 for basically trash. The taste was ok at best. The macaroni salad that came on the side was subpar and too sweet. I had a very disappointing experience here. This was an online order that was supposed to be ready for pickup, not something I placed in-store, yet I still ended up waiting over 25 minutes. During that time, multiple customers who arrived after me were helped and received their orders first, even after staff were aware that I had already been waiting and was in a rush. When I politely asked about the status of my order, the employees responded with visible annoyance rolling their eyes and giving me dismissive looks. The overall treatment made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. I was also the only white customer at the time, and the way I was treated made me feel singled out and very unwelcome, which was very upsetting. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this establishment due to both the poor service and the way I was treated. read more

I ordered online for pickup and scheduled it to pick up within a timeframe still had to wait an additional 45 minutes once I arrived. I understand and appreciate food being made fresh, but if that's the case, the pickup time shouldn't be offered until the order is actually ready. This no frills Jamaican eatery has eat in or takeout options. This is some of the most authentic Jamaican food around town. The rice and peas can be eaten without gravy. The fry chicken is juicy and succulent! My all time favorite is the spicy curry shrimp with rice and peas plantains and a side of pasta! ( made to order about 30 minutes wait time) People on Saturdays they have the sea world soup!! Order early and order two as you may need one for later!
