I went inside, and it was just a cute little kiosk smack in the middle of the store. The workers were confused why I was just sitting at the coffee shop and not buying furniture. Some friends and I honestly stayed there a while and endured the weird looks. Final thoughts: if you want to go and take advantage of the cookies and free drink, it's worth feeling out of place. If you don't like being stared, don't go unless you're buying furniture.

Oddly there was an office chair in the bathroom stall confusing the flow of the intended theme. Interesting choice of name for the unique café. This was not a dull visit to say the least and needs to be blasted out on social media for others to enjoy - mic drop.

The food was served to us within minutes. The chicken dish was flavorful and tasty. This Café is another restaurant located in a strip mall, but don't let that throw you off, the feel inside is a cozy type ambiance and I feel the pride the owner puts into his business. My favorite is the curry goat with white rice, steamed veggies and plantain. The portions are substantial (especially for lunch) and including a drink was icing on the cake. I know that everyone is accustomed to going to Golden Krust, Dutch Pot & Donna's but the food and service at Bulla King doesn't leave me wanting to go anywhere else. Doesn't hurt that it's a 3 minute walk from me either. If you haven't tried them yet, you're missing out.

I entered an absolutely super modern entertainment area including table shuffleboard, wall scrabble and a pool table surrounded by comfy couches, big screen TVs and teak wood tables. Im assuming a mass majority of the customers are derived from the adjoining office buildings. The cafe was open to the relaxation area and game room although still no name visible, but an obvious cafe. The owner Nellio, graciously greeted me and took my espresso order, which he brewed with Italian blended coffee beans called Lavazza. The strong coffee was priced well at $3.00 and well worth the hunt. They open early at 7am and close post lunch at 3pm. They offer seven different salad combinations around $8.00 with an optional chicken, pork or shrimp topper. Now that I know this cafe exists, I will stop in for a Cobb Salad on my next visit and will spread the word. Almost forgot - told the owner to put signage for his cafe out front, and he agreed.

Huh? I have ate at many many MANY JAH restaurants and let me tell you people either will ask for certain sauce on the rice (ex: curry or oxtail) or they will ask for a side of the sauce and it has always been given... until now. Because of this I could not get a side of oxtail gravy for myself or my sister as we did not want it on the rice right then and there. Customer Service - Outside of the sauce fiasco the woman behind the counter just seemed like she was "done" for the day. She wasn't horrible but wasn't very happy. Overall it's about the food and the food was good. Is it the best Jamaican restaurant? No, however it's pretty high in my ranking and I believe that this area is lacking in Caribbean restaurants so I'm sure it's a gem to many. If I'm in the area I will try them again.

The lady got up ran over to the register to check me out and instead of it being $5.50 before tax. It was now $8.00 before tax due to her adding a "small side of cucumber". She charged me $2.50 for i swear to you 1 cent worth more of cucumber. It was the size of a dime more of shredded cucumber. The first lady didnt mention it would be extra. The manager didnt mention it and I saw it pop up on the screen for 1 second and she didnt even mention it. Im not coming back ever again. Nor am I promoting this store again. I have gotten over 100 millions views on social media in the last month and all I have to say is ive chosen to leave a yelp/google review. Its not about the $2.50. Even though thats almost an entire doubles. But its the lack of communication and also the scam they tried to pull. Still waiting for my "side of cucumber" to appear. Thanks. We watched jerk chicken competitions on YouTube, and one that stood out was when a chef stated, "Yes, I would buy this chicken from a jerk chicken pan man." Never heard of a pan man, so we had to do some quick research. It means they are a street vendor who grills and steams chicken using a repurposed oil drum. Btw, there is a Google review by a Chef Harvey, which we will include at the end. First, the location is classy! You can immediately tell by the VIP section, dj setup, and table layout that it doubles as a nightclub later at night. We had a welcoming greeting, and placed our order. Just so you know, their lunch special ends at 2:30 PM, which already sets them apart from other Caribbean restaurants. We ordered a jerk chicken and a jerk pork dinner. Both came with coleslaw, which is something we don't particularly like unless made exceptionally well. They had the exceptionally well version! Fresh, crisp, and tasty! The rice and peas with oxtail gravy was phenomenal! And both meats were marinated, grilled, steamed, and smoked so well, neither needed the BBQ jerk sauce. The sauce made both taste sweeter, which took away from the delicious, smoky flavor. So we only used some of the sauce so it would not go to waste. Speaking of times, Happy Hour starts at 4PM. We got that info from a very friendly bartender who was getting the bar ready. Our order was ready with no long wait. And it came in a large, sturdy paper bag, which made carrying both orders easy. Now on to Chef Harvey: Walking into Caribbean Pot On Wheels Jerk Center, the first thing that hits you is the aroma of real smoke rolling off the grill -- and that alone told me this place understood authentic jerk cooking before I even ordered. Too many spots call themselves a "jerk center" but cook everything on flat tops or shortcuts. These guys are actually smoking their meats, and you can taste the difference immediately. I ordered the lunch special -- I think it was either $6.99 or $7.99 -- and honestly, it's one of the best values I've had in South Florida. It came with rice and peas, coleslaw salad, and jerk chicken. From the first bite, you could tell the chicken was marinated properly and cooked with patience. Deep smoky flavor, real island seasoning, juicy inside with that slightly charred exterior that real jerk chicken is supposed to have. It was so flavorful I didn't even want the jerk BBQ sauce. That chicken stood on its own. Easily a 10/10. The rice and peas were solid, the coleslaw was fresh and balanced the spice perfectly, and the whole meal tasted like somebody actually cared about the food. The inside has a nice vibe too -- clean, welcoming, laid back Caribbean energy without trying too hard. After looking at other reviews, a lot of people keep mentioning the same thing: authentic flavor, real smoke, and some of the best jerk in the area. I can see why. This isn't watered-down jerk for tourists. This is the real deal. I'll definitely be back anytime I'm craving authentic jerk chicken. Thank y'all for getting it right.

He got the fried cheese meal and I got the jerk chicken. We each got the pineapple ginger juice. Everything is fresh and made to order. The food tasted great. The rice and peas and a light coconut flavor to it which was a nice surprise. Inside there is lots of seating and the are set up for dine in , take out, as well as drinks at the bar. On entering at about 12:20 p.m. the buffet that's supposed to begin at noon was just being set up. So we decided to wait and try it. At about 12: 40 p.m. it was ready. I would try to use the proper names of the dishes in the buffet but I am afraid I am going to get them wrong. So it's easier to name the main ingredients. The beef stew (nihari) was very pleasing to the eye but not the palate. It was very dry. The cowfoot stew is probably an acquired taste. But the bits of tendons fell easily off the bone and were tasty. The vegetarian options were the best with a potato dish made of squares of potato in a curry gravy, a chic peas stew, a scrambled egg and vegetable mixture (anda bhaji--that was my favorite), and a (sweet) potato casserole that served nicely as a dessert for the meal. You can get rice, naan, paratha, and pouri to accompany your meal. We got one of each and shared them. The restaurant seats about 25 or more. We were the first ones there but the place soon filled. At one point, of the 16 patrons having lunch, we were the only ones that didn't seem to be of Pakistani descent. A table of men all had burgers, but I am not sure what kind. The restaurant sells a few kinds and special ones. I only saw three people working at Khan Baba. Two who came out from the back once or twice (cooks?) and young man who did all the work up front (take orders, serve, etc.). I guess because he was alone, tables were not being cleared as he concentrated on fetching meals, breads, drinks, and ringing up those who wanted to leave. The lunch buffet was $16.95 each and worth it.
