High-quality coffee made from the company's Costa Rican farm-to-cup beans. Excellent all-day brunch menu featuring avocado toasts, shakshuka, breakfast croissants, açaí bowls, salads, and artisan pastries. Friendly staff and a warm, inviting atmosphere are frequently mentioned by guests. Popular menu items Vanilla Cinnamon Latte Matcha Latte Salmon & Cream Cheese Toast Burrata & Prosciutto Avocado Toast Shakshuka Croissant Breakfast Sandwich Oreo Donut and fresh pastries Things to keep in mind Prices are a little higher than a typical coffee shop, especially once add-ons are included. During busy mornings, seating can fill up quickly. While most guests praise the coffee, a few reviewers feel some espresso drinks can be inconsistent or not strong enough for their taste. Best for Specialty coffee Brunch and healthy breakfast Remote work or studying (Wi-Fi and comfortable seating) Casual coffee dates or catching up with friends If you're in the Pompano Beach area and want more than just a cup of coffee, Carmela is one of the better choices. The inviting atmosphere and quality brunch menu make it worth a visit, even if it's a bit pricier than your average café. A+

I got the matcha latte and it was really good, sweet just how I like it. If you prefer your matcha really earthy, this might not be for you, but it was perfect for me. We also got an Oreo donut that was really good and had a cream cheese filling. The workers were super nice and quick with our order even though the place was really busy. We will definitely be back!

Rose Cafe & Restaurant…read more Such a beautiful and feminine spot! The decor is stylish, elegant, and filled with roses everywhere - definitely a place that feels special the moment you walk in. Everything was clean, the staff was polite and attentive, and the European-style food was absolutely delicious. I think this is such a perfect place for a breakfast or brunch with girlfriends -cute, cozy, and very Instagram-worthy without feeling overdone. The only downside is that parking can be a little challenging, but honestly, the experience was worth it. Definitely a place I would recommend and would happily visit again!

I came in to have a impromptu birthday lunch with my mom. Carina the waitress was sweet and a quickly let us know about the FiFa specials that were going on. They are a steal by the way! Now we put in an order for appetizers from that menu around 12:50ish. Thankfully for great conversation I didn't notice the time was now 1:30 and our apps didn't come out yet. I got another waiter's attention(Luis) who was super helpful to go see what was happening in the kitchen. About 10 mins later the lobster rolls and skewers came out but in the wrong quantity. However Carina quickly got it right. We ordered our main meals which was an avocado salad & the lobster pasta. Yuuuuum! Everything that we had was super flavorful. The bartender David was great at attending to us while we couldn't get our waitress attention. I would definitely come back here but I was a bit disappointed that no manager came over to acknowledge that there was a mix up in the kitchen or apologize for the extended wait when there were literally about 2 other tables occupied.

I was a little down and sad walking in and left feeling restored and renewed. There was literally a message in the menu that hit me hard. The owner was a jaggernaut of conversation and gave a brief overview of the pastry laid out on the counter next to the fresh baked empanadas in the warmer display. The stainless steel expresso machine was eyeballing me and of course I can never resist a good cup of coffee. Purchased a Lavazza dark creamy blended Colada. The dining room resembled a quaint Euro style living room. Took a small seat under an American Flag and was served my Colada by the owner. It was presented in a mini black porcelain cup with the word "espresso" multi stamped in white lettering, straddling a matching saucer. Sipped my tasty strong Colada while my eyes gazed at the mass signages and memorabilia causing a slight visual overload. The gender assigned clean bathroom had wrap around raised foil design molding against the burgandy and burnt orange walls providing a strong Euro decor. Oddly there was an office chair in the bathroom stall confusing the flow of the intended theme. Interesting choice of name for the unique café. This was not a dull visit to say the least and needs to be blasted out on social media for others to enjoy - mic drop.

I was so excited to finally have some time before work this morning to stop by and check out…read moreGetsemani, especially since a friend of mine has spoken so highly of it. Finding the place was a little tricky, but if you follow the lawn signs, they'll eventually lead you to the coffee nook, just make sure to look for the glass doors labeled THE GLADES. As you enter, you're greeted by the soothing sounds of instrumental music filling the lobby of the space where Getsemani is located. The area itself is beautiful, spacious with plenty of seating, lounging area areas, and even a pool table. It feels more like a lobby of a resort than a cafe. When I approached the coffee counter, no one was there at first, so I wondered if they might not even be open yet. There was no hot food available and not even the smell of anything cooking. After walking around for about a minute, I went back to look at the menu and take some pictures. A man then came out from the back and asked if I wanted to. I ordered an iced caramel frappe. While he was making my drink, I walked around and take more photos and videos, the space really is stunning. The gentleman who helped me was friendly, and once my drink was made, I paid and headed off to work. A few minutes after getting settled, I finally tried my coffee. Immediately, no! Something was off. I took another sip and the overpowering aroma and taste of onion hit me. It was so unexpected and unpleasant that I couldn't finish the drink. I'm not sure what caused it, maybe the ice, the cups, or the equipment used to prepare the coffee, but whatever it was, the onion flavor completely ruined the experience. It's disappointing because I was so excited to try this place. For now, I can only leave a three star review. If I return and have a better experience, I'll gladly update this review. One more note, at 9:40am it didn't seem like any food was available to order. The trays at the front were all empty, and there was no sign of breakfast being preped. Considering the cafe is in a high profile area surrounded by offices I would have expected for breakfast to be ready, especially during morning hours. Perhaps I was just too early, but breakfast at 9:40 isn't exactly unusual, right?

Literally, after ten minutes, I finally broke down and shamefully asked a roving security officer for the cafe location who smirked and then pointed at a nearby office building. Plenty of parking in front of the glass entry doors which oddly still did not display the name of the Cafe. I entered an absolutely super modern entertainment area including table shuffleboard, wall scrabble and a pool table surrounded by comfy couches, big screen TVs and teak wood tables. Im assuming a mass majority of the customers are derived from the adjoining office buildings. The cafe was open to the relaxation area and game room although still no name visible, but an obvious cafe. The owner Nellio, graciously greeted me and took my espresso order, which he brewed with Italian blended coffee beans called Lavazza. The strong coffee was priced well at $3.00 and well worth the hunt. They open early at 7am and close post lunch at 3pm. They offer seven different salad combinations around $8.00 with an optional chicken, pork or shrimp topper. Now that I know this cafe exists, I will stop in for a Cobb Salad on my next visit and will spread the word. Almost forgot - told the owner to put signage for his cafe out front, and he agreed.
