Cute space for a coffee shop. The breakfast egg sandwiches were good- something so simple but hard to find and the coffees were good as well. The coffee cake was my least favorite. The Nutella croissant wasn't too bad just too much Nutella for me which is kind of weird for me to say bc I love Nutella. It is overpriced though, all these up charges sneak up on you and it's not mentioned when you're ordering. It was our first time here but when I looked at the itemized receipt I realized how things quickly added up. Good place to meet up or even study if you don't need absolute quiet.

I tried this place for the first time with a couple of friends. When I looked up the place online, I saw that it's a chain with several locations. We noticed that they have a pretty extensive menu for a coffee shop, but they do close at 3pm (at least the Pompano location). Their website says their hours are 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM -7 days/week. You order and pay on a computer that's on the counter. I'm not a tech person, but was able to do this easily, with just one question that my friend was able to answer. It asked what your place holder was, and they have different place holders to choose from like Dolly Parton and other famous actors. I ordered a croissant with egg, cheese, and bacon. It was a good size and quite tasty, and was approximately $12 and change. They of course, have a tip option or obligation as most places do these days. The place felt cozy, and had a sofa and some tables with chairs. They played music, but it wasn't too distracting when you are talking, if I was trying to study, it may have been. Overall, my friends and i liked the place and would come here again.

I love this place. Fairly quiet ambiance and very nicely decorated inside. Friendly service staff. The food and drinks were awesome. Had a specialty coffee along with snack. Met up with a couple of friends and the seating were comfortable and we stayed for over an hour. Overall, a very nice experience.

Toasted Marshmallow Latte

Carmel's is one of my go to coffee shops. The staff here is very sweet. The services quick and the coffees are always on point. I've been loving the seasonal toasted marshmallow latte. It's very delicious and not too sweet. The cold foam is marshmallow flavored. The presentation of the coffee is great as well

Cute cafe with a nice couch area and games. The vanilla cold brew was strong. They have salad and pastry options. It was busy at noon on a Tuesday with not many available tables. Free parking is available in the lot right out front.

Matcha! Yum! Pricey but good. Great date spot.

Excellent coffee and light breakfast spot. A bit pricey but on par with Starbucks! Pretty presentation, decent service. Not quick as it's hand made. Good to study, read, saw several folks with laptops working. It's not super quiet but definitely good dates, meeting, chat spot. Some outdoor seating! It's not large, so I could see seating getting hard to find. We went at 8am!

I really like Carmela Coffee Pompano, is one of my favorite places!! had a super fruity tea (I think that's what it's called) and a cake slice, everything was amazingg and full of flavor. Also the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive! Actually it is a must-visit for anyone!

The scrambled eggs looked like a toddler made them. Its not hard to do scrambled eggs. I was pretty disappointed in how they came out. I was on limited time so I let it go.

The girls at the desk were so helpful. I asked their favorite drinks on the menu and they guided me based on my preferences. The toast was delicious. I did not expect it to be so big, so loaded, so thick and stunning. The croissant was also plenty and filling and the flavors of both dishes work together perfectly. It has a comfortable honey feel, with a cute look.

Iced coffee, black, nothing needed

I love the coffee and food, as well as smoothly here at Carmela Coffee Company on Pompano Beach! The coffee is always strong but smooth, and I drink it black, hot or iced. While I didn't have anything to eat today, I will say that the sandwiches, salads, flatbreads, and snacks are large sized portions and yummy. I highly recommend their avocado toasts. They are delicious and large enough for 2!

I love their coffee, toasts, omelets and the overall vibe of the location. We always have a good time at Carmela and are very happy we found this place!

Decided to come in for a quick breakfast before running errands while in town. The service was quick and great. The cashier was very helpful when we had a couple of questions with this being our first time in. While this is a cafe the food offerings are amazing and there's enough variety for everyone to find something they enjoy. My friend got a sandwich on a croissant and it was a great portion. They do dice the bacon so your our bound to get some in every bite. I had a chicken and a chorizo empanada and loved them. They were hot through with a nice crunchy crust. My iced latte was also amazing abd the espresso was flavorful. This is a great casual breakfast that can work for the whole family although seating can seem limited during peak times so it is not great for large groups.

Place is amazing but how does a coffee shop open at 8:00am is mind boggling. Would be a daily spot for me if they opened earlier.

This is the kind of place where coffee isn't rushed it's celebrated. Today's cappuccino was textbook-perfect: velvety micro-foam with a silky, golden crema that held its own until the last sip. Paired with an impeccably flaky cornetto (crisp layers giving way to a buttery, barely sweet interior) and a still-warm chocolate muffin that practically melts on contact, it's clear the pastry case is filled with house-made love. The vibe strikes that rare balance: sophisticated without being stuffy, minimalist yet cozy. Soft morning light streams across the sleek counter, the baristas move with calm precision, and there's just enough ambient chatter to make you feel part of something special. Whether you're grabbing a quick espresso at the bar like a local or lingering over a full breakfast spread, Cafe Sportivo nails the details that turn a simple coffee run into a genuine ritual. Easily one of the best café experiences in town, already planning my return tomorrow. I tried a few pastries and loved how buttery, soft, and flavorful they were. If you're a bakery lover, this part alone makes the visit worthwhile. The desserts and pastries feel a bit upscale, and you can expect about a 15-20% price bump compared to similar cafés. The space itself is small, and it's really more of a grab‑and‑go spot than a place to sit and relax. There's no free tap water, so you're required to purchase bottled drinks, which may be a downside for some. The service was somewhat slow, though the staff was attentive once they engaged. However, the overall vibe wasn't very welcoming. A few long‑time customers seemed frustrated and even got up to complain after being ignored for a while, which was noticeable. Yummy pastries. Didn't see any stellar food. Our food was just average. We felt Café Brie on Atlantic had better food, but Chez has great pastries. Because of the limited seating, lack of water, and the uneven service experience, I'm not sure I'd choose to dine in. The drive‑thru or takeout might be the better option for enjoying their fresh baked goods without the wait.
