EAT ELSEWHERE THIS RESTAURANT IS TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE !!!! Terrible service !! Placed an order for $101 in boiled seafood and was told that they would not provide me with a $3 side of boil sauce ..placed the order with DoorDash and the option for the side sauce was not an option, called the restaurant she said that she will adjust the tkt for me and add the sauce. I called to follow up after order was placed she said sorry won't let me change I can't help you. I asked will they go ahead and throw in the $3 side and she said NO can't help you. I CANCELED THE ORDER ! Was the first time and certainly won't be a second time. EAT ELSEWHERE THIS RESTAURANT IS TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE !!!!

They were amazing along with the ice cream. The first bite had my eyes rolling in the back of my head. Honestly I could have had a plate of those and nothing else. There was a homeless person bothering us because we ate out on the patio. I wish management could have said something. Otherwise, sitting outside was nice.

I had a Shirley Temple, and my boyfriend had a Bloody Mary that he said was good... although I have to say, the green bean garnish threw me off a little I've seen some wild garnishes, but that one made me laugh. Our server, Leah, was amazing -- so friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable about the menu. She helped us decide what to order and made us feel right at home. The dining room is very large and plain and not at all fancy. Our server was polite but she forgot to order my appetizer and didn't provide the separate checks that we requested. We all had versions of the all-you-can-eat scallops. And we never got a second plate because the first one was filled with about a dozen or more large ones. And no matter what special you get, you are allowed some catfish with it. So, of course, we each had a fillet. It was the best part of the meal. While the scallops were decent, we were not fans because they were fried, and a bit dry. The fried catfish was crunchy but flavorful. As to the sides, the cole slaw is good. The collard greens were average. The baked sweet potato was very mushy, and the French fries needed to be crisper. The hush puppies were addictive. If you like large or plentiful portions, add a star, because your belly will surely be full. I couldn't finish my scallops or the extra piece of catfish that I had requested. And you're not allowed any doggie bags with the all-you-can-eat offers. We certainly didn't have room to try any desserts. Two entrees at $35.99 each, one alcoholic drink, tax, and tip was $115.

From the person that greets you at the door to the wait staff to the people that clear the tables every member of the staff makes you feel like you are their most valued guest. I really love this place and we will be back to try more things from the menu. Today I had a tripletail. I am not sure that I've ever seen it in restaurant before having previously only eaten it when I caught it. And that was many years ago. But it is without any doubt, one of my favorite fish to eat. Absolutely delicious and they're simple preparation brought out the flavor even more. I had it with a salad that was so fresh and complemented the fish perfectly. All in all, I love the restaurant and will be back. As I said, I would love to try the other things on the menu, but if Tripletail is on there that day, I am likely to order it again. One thing, especially nice was that we were really here to enjoy the company of family that we'd not seen in a long time. We took up the table for almost 3 hours. They refilled my iced tea regularly and continue to serve us and even with the long time spent there we felt completely welcome. Kudos to them for such amazing service. If you were in the Pompano Beach area and love to eat fish, this is a place you do not want to miss.

We were coming from Hallandale, we had an 8pm reservation got seated around 815 which wasn't too bad. We were sat in a dimmer quieter section away which I really appreciate since our 1 year old was sleeping giving us the perfect date-night setting. Unfortunately the last time we been to Shooters was Valentine's Day 2025. We weren't aware that the menu had been changed since our last time dining which was rather unfortunate since the two entrees (seared brown butter scallops & shrimp and grilled soy-ginger glazed salmon) we came for were changed on the menu. We ended up getting the soy glazed salmon and scallops & prawns which unfortunately we did not enjoy at all. Even the sides were different previously you could just get a side of Mac now you can only get a side of truffle Mac? The grilled soy ginger salmon was on a bed of veggies (bok choy, Napa cabbage, onions, peppers) the one that's currently on the menu was basically on two inedible pieces of bok choy and a bed of rice I couldn't even break and chew the bok choy. Our server Ava was very attentive and sweet even gave a beautiful little treat for a birthday dessert ( not a chocolate fan but her energy made the dessert amazing ). After we paid our check we asked Ava for a manager and did specify that it was regarding the food more and not her service. I didn't catch the name of the manager we spoke to but her response to us simply questioning the menu change was she's not the culinary director or something along those lines but she would still hear our feedback. She just had such an I don't care attitude about it in my opinion and had I not had a few drinks in my system, trying to enjoy my time out with my family and birthday I would've let her know her attitude regarding it just was unnecessary. We unfortunately agreed to find a new go-to restaurant to celebrate our special occasions since so much has changed. Thank you so much to Ava for making our visit worth it! Didn't get pictures of the salmon, scallops, drinks or oysters that we got but I did get the fish dip and the dessert. Edited to add pictures from one of our previous visits

It's very busy and loud there, though, if you are eating indoors at the bar like I was. The bartenders and barbacks are very busy. The restaurant is known for something called "Scoobies" which per Google Gemini are "crab claws (traditionally blue crab or snow crab) that have been partially de-shelled--leaving just the "pincher" as a handle--and sautéed in a rich sauce of garlic, butter, and olive oil with crushed red pepper and scallions." I didn't get the Scoobies because I was apprehensive about how difficult they would be to eat. My dishes were fried oysters, fish tacos, and coconut shrimp platter. They were all fine, but unremarkable. The platter comes with fries and cole slaw as listed, but when I said to the bartender that I didn't need cole slaw, just extra fries, he offered/clarified that I could substitute another side instead, so I went with broccoli. I did notice that there were many flies flying around when my shrimp platter came out. One of the other bartenders put out a plate of hot sauce to repel the flies, which helped. The place is famous and sells its own merchandise like shirts and hats. It is not located near other restaurants, and you'll have to walk fifteen minutes or get an Uber if you are discouraged by the waiting time. The people dining here look like they are pretty well off and are able to enjoy life.

I started with their mango margarita, a refreshing kickoff to the meal. They also have a full bar if you want something different. For appetizers, I tried the lobster bisque and crab cakes. The crab cakes were my favorite: light, crispy on the outside, packed with fresh crab, and free of heavy flour or doughy textures. Simple and straight-up delicious. The lobster bisque had a flavorful, well-seasoned broth, though it was a little light and I would have loved some chunks of lobster to add texture. Ordering is straightforward: select your sauce/seasoning, spice level, and seafood. I went for the Chef's Pick - Crabfam Classic Seafood Boil, which includes 1/2 pound each of snow crab, shrimp, and sausage, served with two sweet corn cobs and two tender potatoes. I chose the Mr. & Mrs. Crab seasoning, a blend of Cajun spice, lemon pepper, garlic butter, and plain garlic. It had the right kick from the Cajun, the zing of lemon pepper, and just enough garlic to tie it all together. The corn was juicy and sweet, the potatoes tender, and all the flavors balanced beautifully.
