Best jerk pasta hands down, if you are ordering the food for delivery order extra sauce because the pasta will absorb it and you will be missing out thinking it was served dry. I had extra sauce and extra peppers and it did not disappoint at all. I will be telling a friend to tell a friend because it was that good.

Jerk Chicken and Shrimp Pasta

Was really craving jerk chicken pasta so I decided to try this place out. I ordered when I got there and it took about 20-25 mins for the food to be ready. The pasta was good but I don't think it can be considered jerk pasta. The jerk sauce was really sweet and almost like an entirely different sauce. Aside from that, the chicken and shrimp was cooked well and they were generous with the portions. But the pasta noodles were a bit overcooked as they were falling apart and too soft. I'm not sure if they are always like that or they were just having an off day. Overall though, I don't know if I would come back as the price was pretty high and I expected it to be higher quality.

Jerk Chicken Pasta

Order before you go - no walk ins. What I appreciate about the jerk chicken pasta is that it's ACTUAL jerk chicken - I can taste the smokiness from it being grilled. It wasn't just some chicken with jerk sauce thrown on. The sauce for the pasta was also delicious. Plus I got a festival with it so it was overall very filling for a lunch special. The fried chicken is exactly how I like it but I'd suggest passing on the lunch special - I need more than 2 pieces especially when I got so much rice & peas. Overall I'd definitely return & highly recommend.

Bellgordon's Caribbean Restaurant - Oxtails, rice and peas, jerk, chicken, and cabbage

Initially saw some pictures on Yelp that convinced me to give this place a try and I'm so glad I…read moredid! It's a small, mom-and-pop-like shop which of course is the best kind of restaurant IMO. When I walked in, everything smelled amazing and all the food was covered up, which I can appreciate for cleanliness purposes. I was greeted by a smiling and upbeat Simone, who is super warm and welcoming. This was a very pleasant surprise given how my beautiful Jamaican people do not always get the best rep for customer service (IYKYK). I ordered the oxtail, rice and peas and some jerk chicken. Simon gave me a beautiful, and packed plate. The rice and peas was SOO good, I was happy just eating it by itself. The oxtail pieces were big and juicy and FALL-OFF-THE-BONE good. The cabbage had a distinct color and flavor that I LOVED. I give the overall plate a 9/10 only because I didn't get any carrots with the oxtail or sweet plantains in my order which I personally prefer and personally feel should come with oxtail meals. Also because while the jerk chicken LOOKED AMAZING and was nice enough, it didn't pack as much flavor as I would like and they didn't have a signature sauce with it (again, a personal preference, try it yourself, to see how YOU feel). Overall, this was an awesome experience. I would definitely eat here again and strongly encourage you to give it a try if you haven't yet, even just to experience the pleasure of meeting Simone.

She was not stingy with filling the plate up. The lady that helped us today was sweet as pie. She was warm, sweet and professional. The place was clean and the food aroma filled the room. Pure goodness! I'm so glad I found this place. When my craving for Jamaican food comes back, I now have my go-to place. 100% recommend!

I came in for the first time on a week evening for a late dinner. When we sat we noticed that the menu was small and had no prices . Yikes ! Anywho we decided to stay. For drinks we had the lychee dragonfruit margarita 10/10 and Hennessy rum punch 10/10 but they took forever to arrive to the table. For starters we had the lobster fritters which I was imagining something completely different. It was not terrible but I didn't enjoy it. For dinner I had the lobster and shrimp Alfredo pasta which was so flavorful. We also had the oxtail with white rice and plantain which the oxtail was tender and flavorful. Overall the service was a bit slow but the food was fresh and came hot to the table. For was also very good. However it is overpriced for some people as our bill was about $200

We came across Kekoon Restaurant & Lounge in Davie, FL and made reservations, which I highly recommend. The restaurant itself is very nice, with plenty of free parking, which is always a plus. Before we even walked in, we could hear the music from outside and already knew the vibes were going to be on point. Once inside, we were greeted by the hostess and, after a short wait, taken to our table and introduced to our waitress for the night. Our waitress, Ginger, was absolutely beautiful and took great care of us throughout the evening shoutout to her for the excellent service. Since it's a restaurant and lounge, we ordered drinks and appetizers for the table. The oxtail egg rolls were our favorite definitely a must-try. The coconut bang bang shrimp wasn't the best; it was falling apart. The salmon bombs were just okay, and the truffle fries weren't really truffling, if you know what I mean. The drinks were good, but the presentation and taste weren't consistent. We ordered two rounds. I had the Watermelon Pomegranate Cosmopolitan, and my sister ordered the blueberry Don Julio mint mojito and the dragonfruit margarita. One thing to note: there are no prices on the menu, so be prepared to spend money. Drinks were around $20, and a shot was $15, which felt a bit steep considering the location isn't beachfront. Around 11:30 p.m. midnight, a young lady came around offering hookah service. We ordered the blueberry mint hookah for $90, but unfortunately it started getting harsh after about 15 minutes. A quick restroom note: only one of the two toilets was working, and it had run out of toilet paper, which was disappointing especially since the place wasn't even packed. Overall, we had a decent time. The vibes, music, and service (especially Ginger) were highlights, but there are definitely some areas that could use improvement for the price point.
