WoW I was so hungry, I was only able to check-in and take a super up-close picture of the Blueberry…read morepancake that we shared because everything else was ugly and half-eaten already. My cousin from Miami recommended this place near Downtown FTL so I had to try it. We went for breakfast, but they are now open for dinner - but certain days/time, I'd double check. It's a cute, quaint, and more upscale deli than I'm used to but that only made me more excited. I was also very hungry. In true Yelp fashion, I looked this place up before we went and from the pictures, the portions looked huge, so my cousin and I split everything. But don't be fooled, we still ended up each getting an entree, and finishing everything. Like I said, hungry. Before I go on, the servers were great, nice, and the culture seems very accommodating because they kept explaining that we can mix and do plenty substitutions with our orders. It was really nice and refreshing for someone who wants to try a little bit of everything as much as possible. I ordered the Grand Schlam - which is like basic breakfast plate: a protein, egg, carb, and side. I ended up getting scrambled eggs, no cheese, the maple sausages, it comes with a Latke, and I choose the tomatoes with the basil oil as my side. Delicious. Eggs portion for the prices, amazing! The Latke was so yummy and perfect size. 2 maple sausages, not too sweet, which I like. And the star was fer sure the tomatoes with basil oil because it was refreshing with the savory egg and sausage combo. We also split the Corned Beef Hash - a popular dish there. It is a very large portion. My cousin finished most of it but only because I had some of it also. It comes with slices of corned beef, and shreds of corned beef on top of the hash, with eggs, and a side. And my dear cousin got a croissant as a side so he could make a freakin corned beef hash croissant sandwich. I mean is he my cousin or what. Anyways, it was amazing. The corned beef was perfectly cooked and not overly salty which was great. Then, we shared a Blueberry Pancake, amazing. Will definitely come back. They have the largest cookies I have ever seen. And I'm also interested in their dinner options too. Lovely gem!

Managed to score bar seating during prime time on a weekend and service there was fast!…read more We ordered the French toast which was fantastic and an egg plate with a bagel. Everything was fresh and I especially liked the bacon. It was crispy with a smoky flavor. The diner gets packed so expect to wait if you're coming late morning but it will be very much worth it.

We absolutely love breakfast, so this was right up our alley. There isn't a ton of parking, but we found a spot without any trouble. We were seated right away, and that's when we met Darcy, our waitress! This lady was genuinely one of the nicest and sweetest servers we've had in a while, and she is wicked good at her job! I ordered two sunny-side up eggs, bacon, raisin toast, and chunky hash browns, and everything was cooked with that true "Mom love" you hope for when you go to a place called Mom's Kitchen. Everything was delicious and cooked to perfection. We also shared a couple of mimosas and really enjoyed relaxing on land for a bit before our long drive home. The bathroom was clean, and there was so much neat memorabilia around the restaurant. I honestly wish I had remembered to bring my phone with me because I would have loved to take pictures of all the little details! Overall, we highly recommend Mom's Kitchen if you're looking for friendly service, a welcoming atmosphere, and that comforting, homemade breakfast that tastes like it was made by a mom away from home. And if you get Darcy as your waitress, you're in for a treat! She was absolutely wonderful!

After a redeye flight, I was STARVING…read more Handy dandy yelp came through. I came across this place and decided to try it out. It was a Tuesday morning so it was not that busy at all. I sat outside. Idk why I chose outside cause I hate humidity, go figure im in FLORIDA, but either way it was tolerable outside and requested the fan to be turned on. I ordered the breakfast tacos and a creme brûlée coffee. Breakfast tacos are fire. It comes 2 but it fills you. It is messy af cause i kept spilling yolk, guac and the insides everywhere. but nevertheless the flavor was def there to enjoy. Tortilla has a nice bite to it as well. Creme brûlée coffee hit. There's an epidemic of terrible acidic coffee places but this one hit the spot. Tastes like coffee but has the subtle sweetness from the creme brulee. and of course cant forget the sugar top to crack. Service was nice, felt a little 2 faced, but overall she was a nice waitress. Lagged a little. Street parking or in a parking garage. There's a single use restroom that was disgusting when a family member tried to use it. Indoor/Outdoor seating. Typically a long wait on the weekends about an hr or so.

Food was amazing, as always. My only note is that they could go a little lighter on the Nutella,…read moresince it made the dish a bit soggy this time. Service was a bit slow, but it seemed like our server just had more tables than she could handle. Still, the ambiance is always warm and welcoming, and it's a great spot to sit outside or bring your laptop if you want to work.

I prefer my eggs not fried which was the only hiccup on my experience but the omelet was still good. Accompanied with a side of your choice. Grits or potatoes. I went with potatoes. We topped of the order with a side of chocolate chip pancakes and a pineapple sunrise smoothie because why not. Both were delicious. The pancake was fluffy and a great consistency of chips and cake batter. The smoothie was refreshing. Service: 5 The service was great! The service was fast and friendly. Frequent check ins to make sure we were satisfied and had everything we needed. The staff created a great experience Ambiance: 3.5 The outdoor seating was awesome.
