I've been here a few times, but it's been a while since my last visit. I usually come on a Saturday night around 9-10 PM, and it's always a vibe--and tonight was no different. One thing I've noticed, though, is that every time I visit, the host tries to seat me away from the action. I asked to sit on the side with the music, and she told me there were no seats available. However, when I pointed out a couple of open tables, she suddenly said we could sit there. SMH. I ordered a Caipirinha, which was great as always. They really know how to make that drink. For my meal, I got the guac burger (no bacon), but it came out with bacon on it. My fries were also lukewarm when they first arrived. I don't eat bacon, so I let the waitress know. She said they'd make another burger, but when it came back, I could tell it was the same one because I had broken the bread the first time, and it was broken in the exact same place. What if I had been allergic? That's really concerning. The fries also seemed like they were just refried. They were darker, harder, and still looked like bottom-of-the-bag fries. I didn't complain, I just made the best of it. To be fair, the actual burger patty was seasoned very well and tasted great. When the bill came, the burger was $2 more than the price listed on the menu. I pointed it out, and the manager explained that prices had increased but they hadn't updated the menu yet. He honored the menu price, as he should. This spot is located in a large plaza with several other businesses, but parking is plentiful, which I appreciate. And honestly, I would visit again because I actually do like this place, it just wasn't a good night service wise. I'd also suggest putting little lamps on the table because its very dark. Celebrated a birthday here and you can never go wrong with Colombian food! We were sat at the far end of the restaurant. Our server took our drink & food order in one go which was awesome. My best friend ordered one of their signature cocktails called "Nando's" which is aguardiente, sugar, lime juice & she chose the passionfruit flavor (they offer several) and WOW was it delicious, I'd never thought to put aguardiente in a cocktail! The food came quick for a big party, everything was perfect. The food was delicious, the only thing I will say towards the end it was difficult to find our server and we ended up having to get up and walk to a register to be charged out by the server. Great and fun energy, especially with live music! We were seated quickly, and ordered right away. It did take a bit of time for the food to get to us, which was noticeable. Service itself was pretty great and attentive. We were checked on, served, given additional water refills, and didn't have to flag down our server for the check. All in all it was great! My fiancé ordered the T-bone steak and I ordered the Carne a la Llanera steak. Both came with two sides, but the carne a la llanera was supposed to come with 2 sides and a boiled potato, llanera coleslaw, and another item I cannot remember. It's possible that they had pre-chosen sides and by saying 2 sides, they decided to cancel out the others. I was looking forward to trying the coleslaw, but I never received it. I also didn't ask for it as there was enough food already. The boiled potato was just that. Nothing to it. I did enjoy the fried plantains! My salad had no dressing and was really just a few pieces of lettuce and shredded carrots with a large tomato and large cucumber. The llanera steak was delicious though! Super juicy and great savory flavor. Also there was so much steak, way more than expected for this meal. It paired well with the salsa verde which was savory as well. It went okay with the salsa roja but the sauce was too spicy in that it overpowered the steak seasoning and you could taste nothing else. The salsa roja was still delicious though! Just wish there was something in-between super spicy and then savory. The T-bone steak was savory and delicious. It was devoured quickly that my fiancé wished it was thicker to have more but it was delicious overall. If you come here, be prepared to break out your Spanish dictionary! We love coming here to sit at the bar with our amigo Mauricio. He makes the most delicious margaritas and mojitos. He lets us practice our Spanish and rewards us with high fives when we say Spanish phrases correctly. The $18 burger is absolutely phenomenal. The quesadilla was delicious. Came for Mother's Day, girlfriend called the day before for reservations, they said no reservations. The host assured her it would be good for a walk in around 3:00pm. We show up and the restaurant id blaring music and it's 85 degrees inside. The woman today says we should have made reservations 15-20 days ago. Nah, it was TOO LOUD !!! The food is good but the fact that they gave my dad 2 small cups of Hennessey was 34 DOLLARS. Me and my wife came across this restaurant since I'm the search engine. I wanted to eat meat and they were close by so we decided to give them a try. We got to the location and the location is almost empty. We sat down and we had to wait maybe 10 minutes to 15 minutes in order to get the waiters attention to give us the menus to order something. We even noticed that other tables were getting desperate for their waiters attention. We ordered the mix picadera it finally arrived after 30 minutes waiting after ordering and it came warm cold. This was the worst experience and the worst way to spend $100.00. The waiter was more entertained with her colleagues in the back and their cel phones than us the clients. I ordered extra chimichurri and she forgot, i had to get up and ask someone else in the bar to provide it to me. On March 18th, a "picada" (Nando's Platter) for 6 to 8 people was ordered for delivery and it was less than satisfactory. Instead of pork rinds which are my favorite, there were chicken strips which are not in the item menu description. In addition, there were too many boiled potatoes. This Colombian Restaurant is awful. Food quality is terrible and I even had to return and cancel an order for lack of taste, presentation and quality. Service is subpar. Waiters don't check on patrons at all. Once they get a new table, waiters don't come back to yours unless you repeatedly ask for them again. Prices are extremely high for the type and quality of the food that they serve. This and many other Colombian restaurants have the illegal practice of forcing a mandatory tip of 20%(it comes with your bill already and not as a suggestion of tip) They enforced this 20% tip even on single party patrons which is bad business practice. My friend got charge $25 tip for ordering 3 buckets of beer only. No food was ordered by him. Last time I checked, party of 6 or more only get that tip included on the bill. We left the place disgusted and will contact management and owners today. Please don't go to this Colombian restaurant. Save yourself the aggravation and money. There are plenty of better food establishment around town that serve much better quality of food and don't strong arm patrons with mandatory tips. read more

I have been to Rancho Nando a couple of times. If you like Latin food this is definitely your place. My husband wanted to have churrasco and we were in the area. I love finding places like this. I had chicken the first time, and we shared a picada for two (which is more like for four) the second. It was very good both times. We had their flan on both occasions. We don't typically eat dessert a lot, but this flan was very good. We enjoyed the texture quite a bit. The one thing that I think they are lacking is their cocktails. My husband ordered a Moscow mule and it tasted very weird, it had very little ice, then he asked for another one , explaining why, but was brought one without ice. Something got lost in translation. Still didn't taste right so he just ended up switching it for a sangria which was quite good. You can tell it was pre-prepared. This was a Sunday afternoon . I don't think the person manning the bar is an actual bartender just someone mixing drinks out of a recipe. I am not sure how it is on Fridays and Saturdays which I suspect is their busier days as there is live entertainment. They do on Sundays as well they have a guy who comes in and sing all the Latin oldies to couples. I particularly don't care for it, but people seem to enjoy it and my husband likes it as well. The performer does a good job. Sundays are catered more for families eating a meal together. All in all it's a very good place. It is big and decorated like a ranch style barbecue place from Texas, with taxidermy game heads etc If you come during the day, I would stick with beer or wine. Service has been good both times. I was in the mood for some well seasoned skirt steak. The type you find in an Argentinian or Brazilian restaurant. After looking in Yelp, we decided to give Rancho Nando a try. The place is big with two sitting areas separated by a bar. One side has a small life music stage. They asked us which side we prefer, we opted for the one with the stage. Service was friendly. The menu has good photos of the food. The music was enjoyable, although we were very close to the stage and a time we couldn't talk because of the loudness of the music. That said, if you like old classics, they got you covered. Very talented. My wife ordered trio dish that had steak, shrimp, and chicken. I had the "Mar y Tierra" which is a steak and grilled shrimp, with a small sea food shouter. The food arrive and it looked just like the menu photos. I immediately try the stake and it was great. We were up to a good start. Everything was very well seasoned and full of flavor. We ended with a flan dessert that was also excellent. Service was a tag slow at times, but in their defense they were pretty busy. It was also nice that on the few occasions that we needed assistance, staff members in red shirts came by and radio in our server to take care of our request. Very efficient and helpful. We started with chicken and beef empanadas which were really good, especially with the red hot sauce they provide. We then went into a sampler platter that was amazing!!! It had a little bit of everything. My wife had a steak and shrimp dish that she really enjoyed. I had the lomo saltado which unfortunately I was not a big fan of, just over all bland. The worst thing is they only offer cans for soda so no refills, and if you order water it's bottled water. After a 3 hour dinner and celebrating those refill costs add up. I usually order from this Colombian Steakhouse on Uber eats but today I decided to dine in. We were seated right away and since it was a Friday night there was some lively Spanish music playing with multi colored strobe lights which I found very cute. For an appetizer we ordered the arepitas which were little arepas served with guacamole and salsa. I loved the guac and my husband loved the salsa so we pretty much everything was destroyed. I'm a creature of habit so I ordered the breaded chicken, fried yuca, with pinto beans (which is typically what I get on Uber eats). They are very interactive with tables and was very lividly with people dancing and they have a space to dance as well. The smell when you enter is bad but after a while you get used to it.
