Fried golden and ohhhh so crispy

One of the best authentic Colombian empanadas in Broward, growing up in Colombia I can tell you these are definitely spot on and are nothing short of what you would expect from abuela's empanadas. Also their house made aji (spicy sauce) is to die for!!!

The Bakery is 10/10. Super friendly and accommodating. Super busy restaurant but I was helped right away. Clean organized bakery! I got the Arepa de choco and Empanadas de carne/queso. Super fresh and cripsy. I will he returning .

This place was yummy. I was sad that the bandeja paisa doesn't come with a chorizo. I did love that when I ordered my jugo de mora con leche came in a small pitcher so it was enough for a second one which was perfect!!! I also loved the arepa con queso, bunuelo, pandebono y suspiro. Everything was delicious. Definitely coming back.

BEST guava and cheese pastellito, hands down!!

Love this bakery! Their pastries taste homemade and one of the few spots in Broward where you can get a Chocola arepa! It's like a cachapa (if you're familiar with Venezuelan food) but flat and fried to perfection topped with blanco cheese......so delicious with a side of Colombian sausage and eggs. Their picante sauce is addicting and don't forgot to ask for it if you come here!

This place is always amazing they have a huge selection of fresh baked food I always start with a cafe con leche and empanada and a pan de bono they also have a variety of fresh made juices that they can quickly blend up for you I usually go in for breakfast and get the calentado with eggs which is more than enough to share between two people as the portions are huge also their soups which I usually take home are amazing.

Chicken soup with dark meat instead of breast meat--a lot more juicy and nutritious.

This review is for takeout only. While it's always disappointing to find that a previous review is no longer available, I have to say that this is a good Colombian restaurant in Tamarac. I have come here through the years to dine in and to take food, drinks and desserts with me. They have a varied menu, a huge selection of bakery items and drinks too! The price is also very affordable. As far as customer service, it isn't excellent, but it's good. Today I picked up a large chicken soup and I prefer it from here, as they cook it with dark chicken instead of chicken breast like so many others do. It's a lot juicier and nutritious.

The girl who took our order did not provide good customer service and was quite frankly rude. Our cheesecake had a melted mess of a base when we opened up the box 6 minutes later after driving home, which is a real shame because it was otherwise pretty good. The 4 leches had too much dulce de leche and the base had basically disintegrated into the milk so it wasn't really a 4 leches, just milk with dulce de leche on top, more than half of it was tossed. The cheese and dulce de leche pastry was delicious. The prices were pretty cheap, $3.75 per dessert and $2 for the pastry. I would not recommend the desserts or the customer service here. Too many stores in this plaza and parking was a mess at 5 PM on a Sunday. No social distancing inside and people were basically stepping all over each other in an attempt to form a line while blocking the exit.

I couldn't resist trying both fish dishes, and I'm so glad I did! * Filete de Pescado a la Plancha (Grilled Fish Fillet): Lightly seasoned, perfectly grilled, and flakey. If you're into creamy sauces and comfort food vibes, this one is a must-try. Served with a side of fried yuca that was golden brown and crispy with coconut rice and beans that will take you by surprise with actual coconut pieces in it not just made in coconut milk This was the star of the show. I ordered two passion fruit juices, and both tasted incredibly fresh--like they had just been blended moments before serving. I also had a Manzana Postobón (apple soda), which added a sweet, nostalgic Colombian touch. And let me tell you, they gave me a taste of their $5 margarita and it was so good. Lightly sweet, tangy, and not too strong--definitely a deal worth coming back for. The staff were welcoming, patient with questions, and quick with service. I appreciated the sample of the margarita--it shows they're proud of what they serve and confident you'll come back for more (and they're right). The inside of the restaurant is beautifully decorated with colorful accents, bright red seat cushions, wooden tables, hanging greenery, and Colombian flags tastefully placed throughout the space. With soft lighting and cozy touches like pillows along the bench seating, it's a perfect mix of festive and relaxed.

As soon as we sat down, we were given chips and salsa right away, which is always a plus. I ordered the mariachi nachos with grilled chicken, they were loaded, flavorful, and very satisfying. The music was bumping, people were dancing, and the energy was great. It was just me and my friend, a party of two. One thing I've noticed, though, is that every time I visit, the host tries to seat me away from the action. I asked to sit on the side with the music, and she told me there were no seats available. However, when I pointed out a couple of open tables, she suddenly said we could sit there. SMH. I ordered a Caipirinha, which was great as always. They really know how to make that drink. For my meal, I got the guac burger (no bacon), but it came out with bacon on it. My fries were also lukewarm when they first arrived. I don't eat bacon, so I let the waitress know. She said they'd make another burger, but when it came back, I could tell it was the same one because I had broken the bread the first time, and it was broken in the exact same place. What if I had been allergic? That's really concerning. The fries also seemed like they were just refried. They were darker, harder, and still looked like bottom-of-the-bag fries. I didn't complain, I just made the best of it. To be fair, the actual burger patty was seasoned very well and tasted great. When the bill came, the burger was $2 more than the price listed on the menu. I pointed it out, and the manager explained that prices had increased but they hadn't updated the menu yet. He honored the menu price, as he should. This spot is located in a large plaza with several other businesses, but parking is plentiful, which I appreciate. And honestly, I would visit again because I actually do like this place, it just wasn't a good night service wise. I'd also suggest putting little lamps on the table because its very dark. Thankfully I used my phone light to see that there was bacon my burger and the hostess gave my friend a little flashlight to see the menu. My friend enjoyed her food. This night's experience was a 3 out of 5
