I couldn't resist trying both fish dishes, and I'm so glad I did! * Filete de Pescado a la Plancha (Grilled Fish Fillet): Lightly seasoned, perfectly grilled, and flakey. If you're into creamy sauces and comfort food vibes, this one is a must-try. Served with a side of fried yuca that was golden brown and crispy with coconut rice and beans that will take you by surprise with actual coconut pieces in it not just made in coconut milk This was the star of the show. I ordered two passion fruit juices, and both tasted incredibly fresh--like they had just been blended moments before serving. I also had a Manzana Postobón (apple soda), which added a sweet, nostalgic Colombian touch. And let me tell you, they gave me a taste of their $5 margarita and it was so good. Lightly sweet, tangy, and not too strong--definitely a deal worth coming back for. The staff were welcoming, patient with questions, and quick with service. I appreciated the sample of the margarita--it shows they're proud of what they serve and confident you'll come back for more (and they're right). The inside of the restaurant is beautifully decorated with colorful accents, bright red seat cushions, wooden tables, hanging greenery, and Colombian flags tastefully placed throughout the space. With soft lighting and cozy touches like pillows along the bench seating, it's a perfect mix of festive and relaxed.

The restaurant was teeming with an abundance of patrons. Strangely, the Colombian cafe serves Cuban coffee, while there are a vast selection of Colombian medium roasts to offer. Will never turn down a simplistic Cuban coffee, so I ordered my second espresso of the morning. As my espresso was brewing, I noticed over my shoulder an entire loaf of artisan bread being gently transported to an awaiting customer table, which created a smile on my face. The employee advised that the loaves hover around the $11.00 price range. Ordered a Pan de Bono to complement my espresso. Although the size was decent, the bread was unusually dry and tasteless. Based on the breakfast and lunch specials, its obvious why its so busy. The bathroom was clean with a modern pedestal sink and cute simple decor.
