Love this place ! I come here with my girlfriend biweekly or so. Their food is fresh and the service is fantastic. We usually order the farmhouse hash skillet, it's delicious if you like bacon, cheese, potatoes. We also order the Belgium waffle and blueberry pancakes, both amazing. read more

Friendly & polite wait staff. Pleasant decor & atmosphere. On a busy day they get overwhelmed. A group of us came in. After 25 minutes one of us got served. 15 minutes later I got served. Third person didn't get served till 20 minutes after that. One meal was served to the wrong person first. Could've just been a bad day but that was unacceptable. That mixup took the fun out of the whole experience.To be fair waitress took the last meal off the bill & gave us a gift card. I really enjoy the place but these issues need to be corrected. read more

I love having brunch at this place. The farmhouse is my husband and I's favorite thing to order with one pancake on the side. The pancakes are totally shareable they're huge! Their iced coffee is also delicious. It's super plain but there's some ingredient that makes it taste different (in a good way). read more

I completely forgot to take pictures of the food because by the time we got it, everyone was starved. We waited a very very long time for our table, despite joining a waitlist before arriving. The food was delicious, however! Our table ordered a few varieties of their juices, avocado toast, BTLE, farmhouse hash, and traditional breakfast. Their avocado toast was so yummy. I stole a few bites of my mother's waffle and I loved it! It came with a warm jar of syrup & berry compote. I loved the meal, I'd just recommend coming at 11:30 to avoid the brunch rush. read more

I've gone to several first watches in the area and the customer service here stands out from the rest of them. The waitress we had was down to earth and kind but professional at the same time. We knew she was busy but yet she kept her composure and made small talk despite her busyness. The food was amazing. First Watch seems to stay consistent with the quality of their food. I usually order the eggs Benedict and a morning meditation drink. The eggs in the Benedict is always cooked just right and the morning meditation always taste fresh and blended just right. Yes I would recommend this place as I think First Watch is one of the top, if not the top, brunch places in South Florida. You can't go wrong here. read more

I have been here a couple of times and each time the experience has been great. Service is always good. I have waited maybe 5 minutes for a table if that. The food here has always been really good too. I always get something off of the specials menu because they are different than anything you can get at other breakfast places. The last time I was there I got the carnitas breakfast burrito. This burrito was incredible! It was loaded with meat, eggs, and potatoes. All wrapped in a large tortilla topped with lime crema and pico de gallo. It was a large burrito that left me very satisfied. My wife got the skirt steak with egg whites and potatoes with a piece of Asiago bread. Another one of the specials that day.It looked and tasted incredible. Convenient Location, very pleasant staff. Only downfall is there aren't a variety of vegetarian or vegan items. My family and I do not consume meat products, One of our daughters is vegan which limits makes my options tremendously. Overall very clean and inviting location. read more

Hmmmm....to be fair we have eaten here once prior and the food was good. High quality and fresh with fresh ingredients. However the service is rather poor both time we have actually sat down. Yes i said sat down. We have arrived and left several times due to ridiculous wait times. Today we arrived and waited 30+ minutes to be seated outside against our request. Then waited an additional 10+ minutes for our server to greet us. Our beverages (coffe and water) arrived and we were never visitied again. All three othe routside tables that sat either the same time or before us had eaten and were getting ready to leave. Still no server. We decided to leave. The kicker....the young lady sitting behind us requested waffles with no topping. It came to the table murdered with butter and powdered sugar. read more

Absolutely amazing food! Myself and my family we in awe of not only the food however the service was impeccable Friendly, fast, full of smiles! Felt as if we were right at home and left with full stomachs and love in our hearts! My family & I ate strawberry pancakes w/ a side of potatoes, Chocolate chip kids pancake with bacon, Farmhouse hash skillet style ! My favorite by the way! Amazing food! Great Sunday breakfast!!! The avocado toast was so delicious! Kids said the pancake were the best ever! Everything we order exceeded our expectations! I must say, they do need to work on the coffee, or maybe it was just today! Sunday morning before 9:30 am is the best time. I have been waiting for a locally convenient First Watch to open close to my Tamarac community! I ate brunch there on the Grand Opening Day. Great food! Everything was fresh and tasty however I do have an issue with their consistency, I have eaten there twice, both times I ordered the exact thing and it was not the same, but it still tasted great. I ordered the avocado toast and the million dollar bacon. The first time I had it, it was really really tasty, the second time it was ok. Now it could be because the first time it was very early in the morning and it wasn't busy yet and the other time was around noon and it was crazy busy. read more

The service is second to none, the prices are fair considering the amount and quality of food you get. The only drawback it's very loud because so many people want to enjoy their food and great looking location. Great breakfast/brunch/lunch spot with fresh food options, so expect to wait an hour or more to be seated. While you wait you can have complimentary infused water or coffee. The atmosphere is relaxed although it's very busy. I've personally tried the bacado (essentially a bacon avocado omelette) and the turkey burger - both very good. The food is moderately priced, you'll spend $15-$20 per person on a basic meal. The only issue was the speed of service which is why I removed 1 star. Our waitress was really nice, but she seemed to forget about us (drinks took 15 mins to get to the table.) They just opened at this location so hopefully the staff gets acclimated and improves. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. read more

The place is really nice, clean and with good vibes! The food was pretty good too, the cornbread carnitas bowl really did the trick. Very busy day for firstwatch. Place was and still is full. Waited about 15 minutes to be seated. Not bad but waited 1 hour for the food to come out. That's not good. Plenty of people in the kitchen working. You can see them and hear them. I think that's some of the problem with the food today. Wasn't that good. Especially for a 1 hour wait. Toast was hard, avocado didn't taste fresh to me. As for the other foods in the pic ,nothing to really say about it. It's not terrible food but it's not food that I want to come back and eat again food. So hopefully it was a bad day for them and the rest of the days are better. read more

First time, not sure if it's the last time. The wait with pre check was extremely irritating. However, once seated I was able to take in the environment. It's not your millennial bunch spot but great for families , church let out or a small friendly breakfast . I had The Trifecta with the Floridian French toast,eggs and sausage. The French toast was very good, and the people were nice. That's all I can say that's positive. We got there at 8am on a Saturday, when they weren't super busy, and still waited 15 minutes to get even coffee. We ordered two regular French toast, and sides of smoked bacon and sausage. They brought me one with strawberries on it, which I am allergic to. My boyfriend switched with me because the fruit did look very good, and then they gave me a "berry compote". I asked what the berries were and she swore it was blueberry. One sniff told me that it was strawberry. I couldn't eat it. In addition to the allergy issue (nowhere on the menu does it say that the French toast is served with a berry compote), the bacon was paper thin, much like the cheap stuff at Walmart, the sausage was so overdone I couldn't cut it, the syrup tasted like generic, and the coffee was way too strong. Our waitress disappeared often, and it was freezing cold, and very loud. When we went to pay, the card machine was down, resulting in a very long wait. We finally paid with cash just to get out of there. I would go back here if all my friends were going, but I wouldn't choose it again. Edit: This stop was at the beginning of our weekend in Fort Lauderdale, and I subsequently found that every place we went to was freezing cold. I'm not sure why they feel it necessary to keep every public space as comfortable as a refrigerator, but it appears to be cultural rather than just this restaurant. In addition, every stop was very loud. Again, likely a Florida thing rather than just First Watch. read more

On July 22, 2022- FIRST WATCH-Every time hubby and I come to the First Watch on Commercial Blvd in Tamarac they do not disappoint. Our server Ms. Natalie was awesome, she kept checking on our table and if something did not look right, she would take it back and get it re-cooked again. Waiting is not long, Friendly Staff, Cleanliness a plus. They always greet you with a warm smile while we the customers show up grumpy and hungry at times. I normally get the traditional breakfast with crispy bacon, and don't forget the yummy freshly baked blueberry muffins, with the kale morning meditation & black coffee that they do bring out fresh. We normally go to the one on Coral Springs but lately the wait is toooooo long and you really must check what other restaurants are close by and visit. Sometimes there are more places you can visit and experience the food in your own back yard. Hubby loves his Tri-Feca Breakfast with his beet juice and a shot of energy booster. Prices are very reasonable, and the food is great also. I only encounter 1 bad experience and that was on the cheesy grits that they bombarded with butter. I did present that to the waitress Ms. Natalie, and she took that off the bill right away. Just remember folks if you don't like something and it does not look right do not eat it. It's for a reason someone did not check to make sure the food was appropriate enough to make it out the kitchen. My motto send it back so the cooks can also see their mistakes and carelessness. First off want to say I love First Watch and so does my wife. Very glad this location opened up. Walked in yesterday and was greeted right away by someone who seemed to be the manger and was also sat as soon as I told him my party number. Once we sat we spoke with our waitress whose name on our receipt is Alexia, she was awesome. Alexia went back and fourth with us and made sure we were ok while still juggling a good amount of other tables. We didn't feel forgotten at all! She helped my wife and I by explaining the menu to us even after us being to First Watch quite a few times already. Although it wasn't our first time she made us feel as if it was and made us want to try new things from what we always order (the avocado toast and or the classic favorite breakfasts'). This place gets it right on so many levels. I was there on 3/22 and, quite honesty having a hard day. Alexandra was my server. She made me feel as if I mattered, as if I was the only person she had to take care of even though that was not the case. She lifted my spirits and made me laugh. I felt a little guilty about monopolizing her time and I didn't want her manger, Christian, to be upset, so before I left, through tears, I explained my tough day and thanked him for letting her spend the extra time with me that morning. He put his arm around my shoulder and assure me they were there for me - any time. He understood my grief. Let's face it, quality restaurants have quality food it's expected, but they don't all have employees like Alexandra and Christian, employees who care. (And by the way, the food was amazing.) We always love going to First Watch. I brought my mother for the first time. We had a small issue with the wait and then with my dish coming out as ordered. But the staff is so amazing and went above and beyond to fix it for us and made us feel welcomed. Food was hot and delicious as always. The GM Christian Iglesias was so nice. He made sure we were taken care of once we brought the small issue to his attention. I visit this location whenever I am in town, and I will be back next time I am in town. The Potatoes were actually crispy with melty Parmesan on top. This was irresistibly cheesy and full of wonderful flavor. It was a very hearty and tasty meal. I think the addition of Millionaire Bacon would elevate the dish and make it even more enjoyable. The service could have been better, but I think it was because they were extremely busy and a lot was going on. The host was gracious and apologetic about the long wait, really doing his best to get us seated more quickly.
