Tri-Athlete

Love first watch so much. The food is always so delicious and so many great options. We came in for breakfast and all loved what we got. I ordered an iced coffee, kale juice and the tri-athlete omelette. All of it was delicious. Only dropping a star because we did have to ask for refills on our drinks and had to ask for water about halfway through the meal because we never got it but other than that we loved it!

Got the eggs Benedict which is my favorite and go to brunch menu. Everything was balanced pretty well. Unfortunately, my eggs were overcooked so they didn't have that gooey, sauce like texture. And I was like why are these eggs so tiny?? But I can tell it's a pretty popular place cause there was about a 20 minute wait! Also, the parking lot gets super full and packed. I had to park at the Costco parking lot.

Delicious! Definitely worth getting on the waitlist through their app to save time. Service is always friendly. And the food is very very consistent. Love their seasonal menu options too.

Power Breakfast Quinoa Bowl sub bacon for sausage and Farmhouse Skillet with poached eggs

I had the crack juice, I mean orange juice, you sure there's no extra sugar? Hubs had the farmhouse skillet with perfectly poached eggs and my power bowl with quinoa - sub bacon for the sausage- always hits!

First watch is a win anywhere in the country. Vivian was a great server on a Wednesday morning and the food is always fabulous. It's quiet at 7am which is great for a slow breakfast! Always have to get the million dollar bacon, and the honey chipotle seasonal hash is 10/10 as well!

I organized a group lunch for my BTS ladies group. About 30 of us showed up. They were so accommodating and put tables together for us. We had a nice time. I enjoyed the food too. The green smoothie was lovely and so was my avocado toast. Huge portions!

The service was great, and the food was hot and fresh. The bacon was sweet and savory and the chicken was tender and flavorful.

I am rarely disappointed by First Watch, and this meal was no exception. My food was cooked perfectly and was tasty as always. Our waiter was kind and quick. Great place to stop by for breakfast or a quick lunch.

These are updated photos from a visit to First Watch Fairfield Town Center Cypress, TX. There's always a smiling face behind the hostess stand as you enter. Depending on the time of day, you might have to be added to a waitlist as you mingle with your party. There's usually some designated door dash or the like shelf in the lobby. Guests are usually seated with delicious entrees in the restaurant as you pass by heading to your table. I've always encountered friendly and knowledgeable staff, which is definitely a plus. The restaurants are mid sized and have a farm to table ambiance. Nothing stuffy or fancy about the interior and it's always spacious enough not to hit elbows with the next guest. I've seen First Watch cookbooks for sale at the counters as well. Affordable enjoyable entrees, that keep you coming back for more.

The Works
Susanne S.

We were seated as soon as we walked in. This was amazing as the place was packed. Our Server was a delight. Carolina kept a watch on our table without being intrusive. She was pleasant and responded so nicely to my husband who has some difficulty hearing in noisy conditions. The Carrot Cake pancake with pecans was soooo good. However, it was gigantic! One is really enough. My husband had The Works plate. He loved it. I heard an Mmmm coming from him. This is really something as he is very picky when it comes to his food. The portion was also huge. He had to take about 1/2 home. I also ordered the Gingerbread Donuts to take with us. These are also super yummy. They come with two dipping flavors, vanilla, and caramel. Pricing was fair for the amount of food we received. We'll definitely return.

Recommend for sweet tooths. -Nice and quiet store, relatively clean -Like the nice variety on the menu. Cons -I didn't particularly like the pandan matcha. It wasn't very flavorful to me. Perhaps the flavor is with the syrup and I had requested half sweet. I wouldn't get it again. -My friend got the banana matcha, and she said it was ok and could do better with the banana flavor and cream. -The self-checkouts can be difficult to get things scan properly. -There seems to be a lot of ads for new items, but it's not on the menu.

I was just in town for the weekend for a friend's baby shower and I swear they have some great places to eat and drink in this area. Very cute little spot and most everything is as usual credit card base and touch screens. I was going to go to the counter but decided to go to the touch screen so I could browse through the menu. I hate when I'm at a new place and don't know what I want gives me anxiety...lol So I got the limited horchata milk tea 50% sweet and a small order of karaaga (spelled wrong I'm sure) chicken and when I tell you the chicken came out popping hot! Wow so good! Even at 50% the milk tea was not too sweet so I might could have went up to maybe 75% or they do have the option to use a sugar free substitute. So that's a great option only if it's stevia..lol. I can't stand Splenda just gross.. When I visit Katy I will definitely stop by again and try a few other items. Service was quick and friendly! But I know that's how us Texans get down!

I like what I like, just as others like what they like. So I wasn't sure what I was going to get stuck with. So on the way to the outskirts of Katy, we stopped in at Ding Tea. Let me tell you how busy this area was on a beautiful Sunday before lunar New Year. There wasn't a single parking space to be had in three different lots. There was traffic everywhere in people. Do not drive well when they're looking for a parking spot. People just stopped in the middle of the parking lot and didn't move. Waiting for someone to walk out of a building. Super annoying. Luckily, Ding Tea is located behind lot of the larger restaurants and the golf course and other super busy areas. There was a parking spot waiting for me out front and it was easy to get in and out. We ended up getting a tea to share, and two to go with us to the party. We also got an order of the popcorn chicken. I wish they would have it a little bit spicier on its own, without having to dip it into things. A little seasoning goes a long way! The staff were also super nowledgeable about the menu, courteous, and efficient. Will definitely be back, but not on lunar new year. So busy!!

This is a great place to come study or do work on your computer. Some tables have outlets too. The service was good. No complaints. I came here because I heard their matcha is good. Each matcha is $8.5. They claim to use ceremonial grade matcha but under the matcha latte list, there is only one drink labeled CG (ceremonial grade) while others do not. The CG is the basic and they use agave for sweetening. They also don't hand mix per cup. It is pre-batched. I'm not a pre-batch hater although I do prefer each cup to be hand mixed, so I will give it a chance if it tastes good. The CG latte was surprisingly smooth and pretty good! Not bitter at all imo, but it was slightly grainy. They used the perfect amount of agave to balance. It wasn't sweet either. Just perfect balanced flavor for a regular CG matcha latte. The other matcha latte I ordered was the banana. It is SO GOOD! A lot grainier than the CG, though. But I would definitely order that again if I come to Katy. It has a cinnamon flavor in it (probably why it felt grainier than CG) and mixed with the banana flavor was just very yummy. Highly recommend!

The menu can be a little overwhelming but they do have some popular options for you. I got a recommendation from a friend and tried the red bean jelly milk and it was delicious. Wanting to give Wanpo the benefit of the doubt, I asked if it could be remade because it was a $8 drink. The worker, whose name I believe is Eric, SNIFFED my drink through the straw and said that it's Sugarcane and gave it back to me.....He then said he wouldn't remake it because it smells like it...Huh..? I walked out in shock because, what? Out of all the boba spots that I have been to, never has anyone smelled my drink. In fact, I used to work at a boba shop and never has it occurred to me to smell a drink and not remake it for a customer. Like, I don't know what methods you use to confirm ingredients but you couldn't even take the drink to the back to smell it? You did it in front of my face? I don't ever ask for drinks to be remade unless it tastes nothing like I ordered, I just go about and let it be but this genuinely appalled me. I go to Wanpo and I enjoy their Mango Sago drink but this experience has led me to never come back because... are you serious?
