By far the best experience I've ever had at First Watch, and that was largely because of our server, Aaron! I was late arriving to our party of three, but Aaron took fantastic care of the other two people at the table while they waited for me. He made sure they had everything they needed, checked on them regularly, and never once made anyone feel rushed. When I finally arrived, Aaron came over right away, but he didn't pressure me to hurry up and order. He gave me time to get settled and look over the menu, which I really appreciated. Once I ordered, the food came out quickly, exactly as requested, and everything was excellent. Throughout the entire meal, Alan continued checking on us and making sure we had everything we needed without being intrusive. He was friendly, attentive, patient, and genuinely exceptional at his job. This was easily the best service I've received at First Watch. Got the eggs Benedict which is my favorite and go to brunch menu. Everything was balanced pretty well. Unfortunately, my eggs were overcooked so they didn't have that gooey, sauce like texture. Came for breakfast this morning we sat down at the bar young man was helping somebody else then just left. We were sitting there and he came by a few times, but then went and was talking to some people in the back. Finally, we got somebody to come to us. Ordering our drinks and food at the same time ask for a biscuit instead of bread had to ask for water and a 2nd cup of coffee. She seemed very busy talking to a regular received. Our food gave us the water in a bottle didn't pour it or anything heard her say they only work on tips no offense, but hintnumber one up the customer service if that's the case. Food came out looked decent. I got some egg white omelette with some mushrooms and peppers. The biscuit never came out instead. I got grain toast. I had to ask for the biscuit. I have to say my food was very bland. Can't say I would come back, especially since the service was lacking. Bartender brings our check and walks away. Wait to pay it for five minutes. I always enjoy having brunch here. It's one of my favorite brunch places in the area. I love the decor and vibe of the place. Everything is super cute. The quality of the food and drinks are great and prices are reasonable. It's busy often so wait times for food can be a while at times. The wait for seating is generally quick since there's lots of space so there's always tables turning over. I've had mixed experience with the servers here. Guests are usually seated with delicious entrees in the restaurant as you pass by heading to your table. I've always encountered friendly and knowledgeable staff, which is definitely a plus. The restaurants are mid sized and have a farm to table ambiance. Nothing stuffy or fancy about the interior and it's always spacious enough not to hit elbows with the next guest. We were seated as soon as we walked in. This was amazing as the place was packed. Our Server was a delight. Carolina kept a watch on our table without being intrusive. She was pleasant and responded so nicely to my husband who has some difficulty hearing in noisy conditions. The Carrot Cake pancake with pecans was soooo good. However, it was gigantic! One is really enough. My husband had The Works plate. He loved it. I heard an Mmmm coming from him. This is really something as he is very picky when it comes to his food. The portion was also huge. Decided to eat at this First Watch for breakfast with some friends before an all day road trip. I was very excited to try this restaurant since I'd never been and had heard good things about it. We were seated immediately and It didn't take us long to be served. I ordered the breakfast tacos (minus the chorizo) and they were delicious. I didn't finish all of them so I asked for a to go box to take the last one with me. I stepped away from the table for not even 2 minutes to go to the restroom and when I returned, the table was completely cleared off and my to go box was no where to be found. This was upsetting to me considering that I would not ask for a to go box if I didn't plan on taking my food with me. I didn't even have time to bring it to anyone's attention since we were on a tight schedule and in a rush. But that one thing completely ruined the experience for me and I doubt I will go back to this location. read more

This company, or more specifically, back when they were The Egg and I, was near and dear to a departed loved one so I will forever remember that person when I drive by any First Watch location. In fact, we were meeting up here just after finishing up some of the official affairs of the above mentioned person and chose First Watch as a small tribute for our little family get-together. That said, I feel a little bad giving them 4 stars because if you want to get breakfast here, they really are 5 stars. The food is fresh and there are plenty of healthy choices so you can have your eggs any way you want, just get egg whites, etc. If you like omelettes, pancakes, fertattas, etc. you'll be in heaven! Part of the reason I'm taking a star off however is that the lunch menu is kind of lacking. Yes, they have salads and sandwiches, but given that they're open for breakfast and lunch, and given how strong of a lineup they have for breakfast, they could have thrown in a grilled chicken with veggies or grilled salmon or something in there too. I went with Chicken Avocado Chop salad which was pretty good but could have had a little more chicken. The service is also super friendly, but I noticed that nobody was checking to see if we needed a refill on iced tea. The coffee drinkers were happy though because they just left the pot there, but if I had to nitpick, I would have liked having more iced tea. I guess I could have been an adult and just asked too so half of that is on me! Overall though, this place is clean, friendly, healthy and you can't go wrong for breakfast here. read more

My last three visits to FW we've had something spilled on us. It's kind of crazy and doesn't seem possible. It's a running joke with my daughter and I. The atmosphere is clean but crowded, they definitely are moving people in and out quickly. Not a bad thing but it's not a relaxing brunch place. If that's what you're looking for then this ain't it. Minor tweak, my husband and I were done eating but still drinking coffee and in a pretty deep conversation. Our waiter came to ask if we needed anything and if we want the check. He helped me out together my breakfast with no worries. He was attentive, thorough and polite. My breakfast arrived beautifully presented on a right sized plate. The black coffee is really good! While the food and service was good I have to report that I will not be eating here again unless they change their dangerous and authoritarian policy of not allowing people with a license to carry firearms to carry inside any of their locations. While I can see the reason for not allowing open carry in an establishment, not allowing licensed carriers is senseless and does absolutely nothing but put law abiding patrons at risk. These signs do not stop criminals from entering the premises with firearms. These signs only prevent law abiding citizens the right and capability to defend themselves. So until "First Watch" comes to their senses and stops putting their customers at risk and pushing their dangerous anti gun stance on others I will not be returning to any of their restaurants and I urge others who care about their safety and the Constitution of this great nation to not give them their business either.
