Absolutely love First Watch and this location is another great one! Service: Our server Lauren was very friendly, fast and attentive. We were seated immediately at 9am on a Friday. Food: Our party was two and we had the Trifecta with pancake, scrambled eggs and bacon and the steel cut oatmeal. Both dishes were hot and delicious as always and they remembered to add chocolate chips to my pancake. The oatmeal is always packed with toppings of pecans/walnuts and fruit. My family and I came for breakfast and our server Mandi was absolutely amazing!! She gave wonderful service and we had a great time! Beware sitting in the corner booth ! This was our first time trying this place out. Being a Sunday around noon we were surprised there was absolutely no wait time and the place was probably at half capacity. We waited a bit for a waiter and it was almost like 15 mins before we she came by to get our drink order. We got a coffee, water and a mimosa and it took her longer than 5 mins. And she forgot my mimosa. So a water and coffee took a while, if this was Bar Rescue, John Taffer would be quaking lol. We put our order in and our waiter didn't know the menu, she asked me a couple times what kind of eggs I wanted, I had to show her the menu because she thought I was ordering two different things, my friend asked for a flour tortilla and got wheat and my eggs were wrong. Just disappointing. She was probably new but so were we and I shouldn't have to explain the menu to the worker. Then when we left, the cashier said "just so you know, we work off tips" putting us, the customer, in a weird position making us uncomfortable. We know you guys work off tips, that's a given. An average breakfast place. Ambiance and decoration were nice. Service was ok. Our waiter missed a few drinks we ordered and were missing a water glass we asked for a few times to no avail. We ran out of water before our food was even delivered and it was never refilled. The food: -omelet/frittata: good flavor, but the vegetables were a little too chunky and felt undercooked -traditional breakfast: hard to do eggs and bacon wrong, but the multigrain toast was too thick and the potatos were literally unseasoned and looked boiled. Blechhh. -biscuits and gravy: firstly it was turkey gravy... secondly, it was really gross. The texture was especially vile. Ate literally one bite and couldn't have any more. -lemon ricotta pancakes: absolutely delicious. Exceptionally fluffy! Verdict: drive the extra few miles to Snooze. We come here somewhat frequently. The food and service are always incredible. My husband is adventurous and tries every new and unique dish and has never been disappointed. I have become a fan if the French toast. It's the best French toast I have ever had in my life....including my own! The warm berry compote (not sure if that's technically what it is) is unbelievable and I add just a touch of syrup. Incredible! read more

This review is for the new location on Grand Parkway. A few reasons to the poor rating... we attempted to use the app to put our name on the wait, but it said no wait. We called to find out if there was a wait, and there was. BUT we couldn't put our name on the list - we were told that we could only use the app and had to wait until it updated. Our waiter came to our table and said he was going to take our drink order and then said let's go ahead and put in your food order. We had just sat down. We ordered our food, as well as, the million dollar bacon. For our party of 4, three people received their food. We did not receive the bacon until we asked several times and were done eating our dishes. The 4th person didn't receive their door for about 10 minutes after everyone else. When it was received, it wasn't very hot. The waiter spoke at a very soft level in a place where the environment is loud already. My orange juice, although fresh squeezed, tasted very sour. We had to ask for water several times... I will say that we were not charged for the bacon and the waiter did keep refilling one persons soda. However, I won't be coming back here. There is another breakfast place within walking distance that we will return to instead of Fresh Watch. read more

Second time coming to this location! Always a great experience, they added a bar with a couple of alcoholic drinks including mimosas, bloodys, a beer and Kombucha on tap! The Kombucha is amazing! It's been over a year since we had been to First Watch. First time at this location. We wanted to give them another try but was a bit dissatisfied. My husband got The TRI-FECTA which was One Blueberry Pancake with 2 slices of bacon and supposedly 2 scrambled eggs that look more like one. He said it was okay but a bit on the small size especially for the price of $10.29. I had the Eggs Benedict Florentine with potatoes. It tasted good but the eggs were a bit under cooked, which concerned me. Unfortunately for the prices we get more of a breakfast at Black Bear with nice sized portions and feeling more satisfied when we leave. read more

Went here for the first time and were told it was going to be a 20 minute wait but we only waited for 5 mins. Person in front was polite but the waitress was just ok. The food was good but nothing special, I really expected more but it was ok ok. The waitress was hard to track down so the waiting to get drinks was constant waiting. read more

Not a great overall experience. Waiter implied coffee was free then charged $3.50/cup at the end of the meal. Server also dropped off check shortly after we received our food, which I found odd-- especially because you have to pay at the front (which he also failed to mention). Sat waiting for him to stop by until we overheard another server tell her table to pay at the counter after handing them their check and the end of their meal. In terms of the food quality itself, "mediocre" would be a generous descriptor. Bacon tasted and looked like standard microwave bacon. Poached eggs were completely overcooked to the point that they did not run at all when cut into. Solid yolk. Potatoes had no seasoning and were undercooked. Gingerbread spice donuts were dry, and didn't contain much flavor beyond what you'd expect from a standard donut hole. Seemed affordable until the surprises with the coffee ( set down coffee carafe on table at beginning of meal, then charged per person who poured any) and overpriced sides (bacon was nearly $6). There are SO many better options just down the road in virtually any direction. Black Bear Diner, Snooze, etc... all easily outclass First Watch. "Watch" out for yourself and steer clear. read more

Oh where to begin.... Zero accountability Positives: food is good, feels organic. They don't do bold exotic flavors but it feels very farm to table. Negatives: the staff is clueless. They don't know the menu, they don't know how to operate a business, hand written tickets so the kitchen messes up the order or misses items. The whole table got their food but one person. We waited for the 1 entree for an additional 30 minutes. We finished our meals and the here comes the final entree. Staff/manager didn't take ownership of the problem. Didn't get any apology from the waitress. She avoided our table like a scared child. Step up...be adults...take ownership of the problem....and then you may get us to come back for a second try. You have officially ruined your first impression. Accountability is King!!! read more
