I've been to First Watch several times. Initially, it was a hit or miss but over the years, I've come to love them as a brunch spot in Joplin. The service is always fantastic and they are extremely patient with my family who has a lot of dietary restrictions. Food-wise, I loved their frittata, especially with their sun-dried tomatoes. The kale juice is also amazing. Their veggie burgers are mediocre -- not my favorite because their patty tends to be dry. Overall, its a great place to take family who have different needs for food haha so I give it a 4/5 stars.

OK, this is another breakfast spot my first time here. For breakfast. And the service was wonderful. The ambience was nice . I started off with the classic breakfast. My food came out. It was nice and hot or food came out pretty fast. It wasn't quite busy so when the food came out, everybody got their food and it was nice and hot. This was a great experience. I'll be back when in town.

Saw the pics, and thought it would be a great place to try. We had the oatmeal and the eggs Benedict along w the Bloody Mary. The oatmeal was delicious. Lots of fresh fruit and the oats cooked just right. Not under/over cooked. My BF didn't care for the sauce on the Benedict's though. Apparently too much lemon in the hollandaise. The bacon was delicious. Thick cut and crispy.

Family in town and breakfast needed to be had before they hit the road!!! I had been before (but not reviewed) so we embarked on the journey of First Watch!!! They definitely have speed and customer service skills on another level at this place Craving the Carrot cake pancake with ham and bacon...(big kid probs) and I was hungry... It was tasty!!!!! They fixed my hunger! All our food came out hot. Party of 8!! The staff got our group of 8 order out fast and accurate. No drinks went empty. Our Server with black hair and tattoos...i missed her name did phenomenal! The foods were delicious! The price was just right. I was very pleased with this visit. When in the area again I will stop in as they definitely can fix hunger and cravings. Thank you for being in the right place at the right time! Respectfully, Bryan Yukon, Oklahoma

First watch is always a solid choice for all your breakfast desires. We frequent this location and many others in Kansas and Missouri and are usually quite happy with anything we order. We usually order skillets, omelets, pancakes or biscuits and gravy. We don't really have a "go to" meal as everything is pretty good. The coffee is good and the service is usually always happy and prompt.

First time visiting this First Watch, and everything was fantastic! This location is so cute, the food was amazing and the service was awesome! I love that you can tell the ingredients are always so fresh at First Watch. I also love that they have such a great diverse menu. Whether you are trying to eat healthy or have specific dietary needs, First Watch has you covered. And all of it is amazing! This location cooked everything to perfection. I wish I had taken pictures of the food, but we were starving and got to eating to fast! Both my grandkids LOVED the chocolate chip pancakes! The food also came out super fast! Finally, Cassie was our server, and she was helpful and friendly! Typically, FW usually has great service, so I was happy that the Joplin location was no exception. This is a great brunch place, and I am so glad that Joplin has a First Watch.

Traditional breakfast-two eggs, over easy, perfectly cooked bacon, homemade toast and potatoes. Yum!

Looking for a new and fun place to meet up for this latest trip, we stumbled across The Bruncheonette in Yelp. Sooooo thankful we did. It's located at the northern edge of downtown Joplin on main street. It's a small quaint place with both on and off-street parking. We could tell immediately that we'd made a popular choice based upon the large number of cars and folks waiting to get a seat. The hostess welcomed us just outside the front door and us we'd be seated shortly. She was great and very nice to chat with. We had to wait outside a short bit before we were escorted inside. The space and seating is limited for sure. There are tables as well as some bar-style seating along the edges of the restaurant. The environment was busy, fun and lively. Our granddaughter loved all the action. The person who escorted us in then actually took the extra time to explain their menu and options, which are posted on boards above the checkout counter. The menu is limited and made up of a combo of traditional lunch/brunch items. But they are all done with a unique and delicious flair. Sort of a twist on the traditional bunch options. All of us enjoyed our meals. We had breakfast street tacos, a salmon cake eggs Benedict special, French toast, the fruit plate and a pancake. All of the portions were good sized, ingredients fresh and tasted great. They even went the extra step to bring our granddaughter some fried cheese to munch on. Very kind. I also got a laugh out of the fun pictures in the bathroom as well. Hilarious. The restaurants location allowed us to enjoy a stroll around the downtown area afterward brunch. Great place, great staff. We now have a new "meet-up" spot in Joplin!

As soon as we walked in, we were warmly welcomed and asked if we had visited before. When we said no, the chef walked us through the menu, highlighting their locally sourced ingredients. I ordered the pancakes because I was eager to try the house-made syrup--and it absolutely lived up to the hype. My husband went with the pulled pork pancakes and loved them. We also tried the carrot fries, which were delicious. Overall, it was a fantastic experience with great food and a welcoming atmosphere. We'll definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone in the area!

My wife had the avocado toast. She said it was really good. Service was great and it's a neat atmosphere. It was a little loud because it's so busy. So if you want quiet, this isn't your place. My only complaint other than the over cooked eggs is the price. First, the menu prices are not updated. My meal said it was $19.00. In reality, it was $22.00. So it's pricy. Not really worth it for an every week place to eat in my opinion. I will probably only eat here on special occasions in the future. We spent just under $50.00 without tip. We had water to drink and I had a coffee. There are plenty of other places in Joplin with food priced more reasonably and that is just as good. It's definitely worth trying, just know it's pricy.
