I came here for my birthday with my girlfriend and asked for a Mimosa which is everywhere on the menu and she says they can't sell alcohol until the clock reachs 1pm, i was shocked and ask to talk to the Manager Eric. And guess what ? The bright guy says there is a law in Florida that says they not allowed to sell alcohol before 1pm . Im laughing but because the frustration. How can u say something like that . I've dined in at this location many times in the past. I usually order the farmhouse mash. Always delicious. I've recently decided take out this time. I would highly recommend that if you can, eat at the actual restaurant. Unfortunately I found that the portion size was not the same compared to when you would dine in. First watch is my favorite place for breakfast!! The menu has a variety of options including a healthier side. They have breakfast options as well as lunch options. The servers are all extremely nice and attentive. Although, at times the restaurant gets pretty full and you might have to wait for your food a bit longer than expected. Also the wait time can sometimes go up to 45 minutes so I suggest downloading the app and putting yourself on the line through the app. That will make it faster for you to sit down once you're at the restaurant. They also have a community section where you can walk in and if there's seats you can just sit down the only thing about that is that it's a big table and other people are also sitting there. Very disappointed with this location. We have been to other locations and always had a positive experience but this was very different. We were told wait was 45 min and it took 1.5 hours to sit us. This mainly due to people with parties of 4 being passed over our group of 6. They said they could not put tables together so if you were less people you got sat first. Then they had a brunch menu and we tried to order a mimosa and were told they don't serve alcohol til 1pm. Not sure why it was under the brunch menu then. Food was slow to arrive and had to hunt down our waitress. Hope management can improve on this location. read more

Out of alllllllllll the places Miami has to offer, I picked this one because the food looked so yummy. To begin with, we were seated as soon as we came in on the outdoor area which is pretty nice. Our server was very pleasant, we even mentioned how maybe Chick fil A could be training them because everyone was so kind. We went for the farmhouse skillet and the egg sandwich with the waffle. Holy molly, that waffle was insanely fluffy and light, I seriously couldn't get enough, (ordered with the no sugar syrup). My skillet was to die for, seriously, nothing better in the morning than cheese potatoes with eggs over medium (comes with a side of fruits). I think this is my only one start review in the history of time. We used their online wait in line feature. We were seated after 15 minutes of checking in. That was great. I should've known it was a bust from the get go. Our server couldn't answer simple menu questions and didn't offer to ask anyone either. We waited 40 minutes for our order to come out wrong. Another came to our table to let us know that the dish we asked for cant be customized as it comes perdone ? Which goes against their made fresh situation. We asked for over easy and they were over hard. The dish was DRY. Not only was it wrong but the potatoes were inedible. As were mine. Like HARD. I lost my appetite. I had to ask for utensils twice. No one came to the table to apologize or try to make it right. I had to ask for the items that were not eaten to be taken off the bill. No manager came to see us. In genera, I really like First Watch restaurants. The one near my home in Aventura is quite good. This one in Miami Lakes could train their wait staff better in proper etiquette. I sit down order coffee, the coffee comes out with no utensils. I put sugar then I have to find waitress to ask for milk. Then I realize I have no utensils to stir in my milk and sugar. My coffee is cooking as I locate waitress. I order my food and while I'm still enjoying my avocado toast she brings me the bill. This is poor etiquette. The food is really really good so I come very week with TIME to wait for my car to be cleaned just down the street. We waited and reviewed the menus, however Two tables of larger parties came after us and immediately served. Not a fan. The wait is really long which I don't mind if I'm going to sit and be served quickly and eat delicious food. This however is not the case. After waiting for an hour to be seated, everything on the menu sounds amazing, making it hard to choose. This restaurant tries to be "gourmet" and "trendy" with dishes like: açaí bowls, skillet hash, fancy French toast, etc. But the quality of the food when it finally comes out, yikes. Firstly, when we ordered the food took at least 30 minutes if not more to come out. I ordered a cornbread carnitas bowl with beans, tomatoes, cheese, carnitas and avocado. You would expect this to be flavorful but it didn't taste like anything, I had to drown it in hot sauce for it to have some sort of flavor. We ordered the million dollar bacon... they just cooked some bacon, bathed it in normal pancake syrup and put an excessive amount of pepper. The flavors did not match at all and definitely don't merit the name of million dollar bacon. Service was ok, she was nice but didn't come check on us once during our 30 minute wait for the food. I probably won't come back here I'd rather go get an egg McMuffin from McDonald's and call it a day. read more

I went for breakfast with my friends and I had no idea this chain existed. It's affordable and the food was good. I had the avocado toast. The perfect size not to feel so full. It comes with Two eggs on the side. We went at 9am and it was empty. By the time we left at 10:30 it was packed and there was a line outside. So get there early. The menu has great options I want to try. I also had a piece of my friends pancake and it was delicious. It's also huge (to share). This location is in a shopping center so plenty of parking. Mostly family they all prefer first watch environment and service they manage to offer. Food always hits the spots always manages to taste so fresh. They have plenty of selections of foods my go to is always "the bacado" sometimes me and my sister share an avocado toast also deliciously. Main entrees already so filling so yeah sharing some small thing to satisfy the urge to eat every single thing on their menu is kinda our thing. And pancakes are also very tasteful. You get to choose how you want your eggs made or substitution to your meal. They are very much okay to change it up for you for your satisfaction. This used to be a Denny's I would frequent back in my high school days. My, how it was changed. They really put in effort to build out the inside of this restaurant. It's very cute and homey. I absolutely LOVE that they have coffee for you in the front while you wait because there is always a wait here for breakfast. Despite putting my name on the waitlist in advance through Yelp, we still had to wait a good 20 minutes to be seated. No matter. Once we were seated, the service was quick and efficient. We got our food rather quickly and enjoyed it. Okay, I don't quite remember what I had but I hope the photos pop up and jogs my memory. In any case, I would definitely come back to try more of their breakfast items. Oh, and for the lushes like us that like their brunch with mimosas, they do not serve alcohol here.
