Oh how I want to give this 5 starts SO badly!!! My kids and I have been trying different spots as we're new to the area and breakfast is there favorite meal. We ordered the trifecta (waffle, eggs, bacon), kids pancake (cc pancake, sausage, fruit, OJ), kids eggs and sausage and an extra side of fruit. It was delivered quick and everything (aside from that 1 sausage that looks slightly overcooked) was fresh and hot!! I'll start with the positive- that OJ was so fresh, I wish I had known how good it was going to be because I would've ordered 3 more!! The bacon was cooked perfectly, the pancake was huge, cooked well and had a great pancake/ choc chip ratio, the eggs were still soft and the waffle was soft and very tasty! Whatever the berry compote was that came with the waffle, was amazing!!! Seriously, so good. The downside- I can't review the fruit at all... because it was completely missing. The fruit side with the kids meal and the full extra fruit side i ordered were both absent. A bummer as our kids do love their fruit, but DoorDash made it right which I appreciate. Can't speak to service or atmosphere of the restaurant itself since we didn't dine in. Overall, this place was great, and we will 100% be eating it again! Knocking 1 star off just since the fruit to the kids meal and the extra side of it was missing, but I'll update my review next time we eat! read more

I really wanted to love first watch but I'm not in love. Haley, our server was knowledgeable of the menu and was very pleasant. I ordered I believe is the chorizo omelette and the texture of the chorizo reminded me of ground beef and it just wasn't. Also, the onions wasn't cooked done enough because I was taking it out of my omelette. It wasn't tender. It was chewy for some reason. I ate it because I was hungry, but it just wasn't very good. The potatoes were OK. I think the most thing I appreciated from my meal was the drip coffee, which was a little watered down , but it had a good caffeine kick, and you can flavor it with the vanilla or hazelnut creamers on the table. The ambience is a warm vibe and everyone was pleasant. I just wouldn't go back because the food at least for me wasn't good. Went to First Watch for a birthday breakfast. It was pretty mediocre. I had the turkey sausage biscuits and gravy which were fine. We ordered the lemon/blueberry cornbread for the table as well. The cornbread came out much later than our food and was cold. It was so cold the butter on top didn't melt. We waited about 45 minutes for our food to come out, after waiting awhile for our orders to be taken. We were there for about 3 hours total which was extremely long for the quality of the meal. read more

Went for lunch around 12:15 today. Used the app to get in line so we got seated immediately when we went in. It took a little bit for the food to come, but it was all delicious! My only complaint is that it was so noisy it was very difficult to carry on a conversation, like many restaurants now. I just don't understand the appeal of that. I'd give 4.5 stars if I could. So I went to this place on Saturday before my flight back to New York because I came to visit my best friend and his wife for the week. Once we got inside I really liked the ambiance of the place. It looked very homey. The service was amazing, the menu had a wide variety of breakfast and lunch selections. Wish I could've tried them all lol. The menu is fabulous! I would love to go every weekend and try a different menu item each time because so many of the descriptions sound so amazing. I had the Eggs Benedict, and they were AMAZING! The sauce was delicious and blended delectably with the runny yolk of the perfectly poached egg! Finding a place that truly knows how to do a poached egg that isn't actually over medium is hard to do, but the cook at First Watch did it to perfection! It wasn't overcooked or undercooked. Delicious food. excellent service. A sure thing for breakfast, brunch, and lunch, whether you're feeling like eating healthfully or not.

First and foremost, the noise level is really high -- it was very hard for me to hear the soft spoken waitress. The restaurant's interior is "modern" and clean. The menu is loaded with healthy, fresh and sustainable menu choices. Happily, it is possible to find/make a classic not so super healthy menu choice. The cocktails are pre-mixed: the Bloody Mary was spicy which I liked but the Pom Sunrise was a little too sweet. The Bloody Mary garnish wasn't the traditional garnish but candied bacon which looked like peppered bacon and would have been a much better bacon choice for a Bloody Mary garnish. The biscuits and turkey gravy were very good as was a Works Omelet. So, if you want healthy and fresh, this is good choice and worth 4 stars. If you want more classic diner style breakfasts, this is probably a 3 star choice. read more

Last Sunday we tried coming here by signing up online and then we checked in when we got there in person. After 30 mins of waiting, we went to see where we were at and it turned out they never checked us in. It was going to be an additional 30 minute wait even though it was a mistake on their end so we decided to just go to a different restaurant that time. This Sunday, we had another terrible experience at First Watch, which makes me never want to come here again. When we got here, they said it was a 45-60 min wait. We understood since it is Sunday morning. After waiting for 45 minutes, we went to check on the front and it turns out we had been bumped further down the list!! We went from 12th place to 13th place after waiting. Apparently, when people check in online and then show up at the restaurant, they get priority :( We all really wanted to eat the fall menu here, so we decided to wait until we got a table. Finally got sat after about an hour and fifteen minutes of waiting. We were pretty hungry so we asked if we could put in our order as soon as the server came to take our drink order and she said no? I've never experienced that where they won't take your order. I get timing with the kitchen but maybe she could write down our order and then put it in when it's convenient for them. Here's the kicker. The fall menu that we were really excited about and they gave us a menu for, they weren't serving. Why would you give us a menu full of things we can't order? It just ruined my experience because I would have gone somewhere else. The wait at ihop would have been way shorter, the food is cheaper, and I probably would have been able to order fall menu items. I was so frustrated with the wait that I didn't want to spend an extra 5 minutes looking over the menu, so I just ordered chocolate chip pancakes. When the food came, we didn't have utensils, so we had to wait another 2-3 minutes to get utensils as our food was getting cold. The food was fine and the server was nice, but the overall experience was lacking. I can go somewhere else where the food is fine and they have nice servers, but it will probably take less time and I will spend less money! read more

I am a First Watch lover. So, when I relocated to Winterville, NC and found out that there is a First Watch near my house, I was very excited! Coming in at the peak of Saturday afternoon brunch hour, the parking was not bad. Even though it was busy inside, I did not have any trouble finding a seat. Seconds of walking in, I was greeted and was asked if I wanted to sit outside or inside. Since the weather was nice out, I made the choice to seat outside. I am BIG on fresh healthy food, organic when possible. First Watch must have had some sort of epiphany, because they have become my go to place for wonderful healthy organic breakfasts. Wherever I am, the first think I check is where is the closest First Watch. On Saturday, I got my usuals - the A.M. Superfoods Bowl, two Blueberry Multigrain Pancakes and Morning Meditation. The presentation on my A.M. Superfoods Bowl was a little different than usual but the taste was just as good! I am also obsessed with their Almond Butter + Sea Salt toast as well. Overall, the service was great. Mollie, the waitress did a phenomenal job on making sure I was satisfied. When I requested sit outside, at the moment there was seats outside the shaded area. Immediately after a table that was under the shade came available, I asked if I wanted to move. I appreciated that. Mollie was really kind and everyone working there was as well. Great attitude all around. Upon leaving, they held the door open for me. These simple gestures do not go unnoticed, thank you. Overall, this place had really great energy. I had a great experience! we have eaten in this restaurant no more times today five 824. I went in and ordered, but I normally do traditional breakfast with meat. The potatoes were cold. The eggs had no taste. They almost tasted like powdered eggs very disappointing. Also, we ordered elevated egg sandwich when you're paying over $30 to have breakfast you expect a lot more than this. I have been aiming to try this place for a while now and finally had the chance to do so today. The restaurant was bright and open with good distance between tables. My server Ashley was very sweet and quick to answer any questions we had since it was our first time visiting! I had the french toast, breakfast potatoes and million dollar bacon which were all great! The million dollar bacon had great flavor and the french toast was sweet but not too dense. My boyfriend had the cinnamon chip pancake, turkey sausage and scrambled eggs. Their pancakes are HUGE and equally delicious. The ice coffee was delicious as well, just the right amount of sweetness. I would give this place 5 stars for the food and service, but had to give it 4 due to the long wait for our table and food. We went on a Tuesday about mid day and were a little frustrated with the 40 min+ wait then had to wait a good while for our food to come out as well. Went here this morning. Wait time was what we expected with 6 of us so no big deal. We were seated and gave our drink ordered and shortly thereafter our food order. The waiter seamed to be high energy and friendly. We received our orders jn a reasonable time although my omelette was kind of tough and the filling didn't quite seam blended right. This wasn't the issue though. My wife ordered the BLT Eggs Benedict. She cut into it and one eggs was so done it was had no soft yoke at all. It was more akin to a slightly overdone soft boil egg. The waiter came by and asked how everything was and I replied good but my wifes Eggs Benedict were not right and showed him the egg that had no soft runny yoke and that the other egg had very little yolk either. He looked somewhat concerned and then said bummer and walk away. Thereafter he was curt and not concerned with much more except to try and bus our table even when one of my sons had five more bites left of Pancake order. Of course my son said he wasn't quite finished. My other son had a whole sandwich left and he was going to take home to eat later since he wasn't feeling well. Did the waiter ask if he wanted a box? Nope. Not that I expected him to have to ask but it was obvious that he wasn't going to eat it there. The waiter then unceremoniously sets down our ticket and I picked it up. I looked it over and said I didn't expect to pay full price on a eggs Benedict that clearly weren't even close to the dish. He looked incredulous that I would even question the ticket and then gruffly asked if I would want the manager. I said sure. The manager showed up shortly looking more like he was the dish washer, kind of scuffy looking, and not dressed as I would expect a manager of a First Watch resturaunt to be. He acted like I was trying to scam them by asking for a discount on a complete failure of a dish. I did get a $7.00 credit on a $13.50 entree but in no way get an "I am sorry tat the food wasn't up to First Watch standards or that it wasn't what attempted to be made right when it was pinted out when the the order was first brought out. The waiter needs to be trained on how to be a server in a resturaunt instead of taking the order and delivering the food. I doubt this will happen after seeing the manager and his flippant attitude. I have enjoyed this franchise for quite sometime now. Im traveling and today i am enjoying breakfast in Greenville North Carolina by way of Texas, Louisiana, and Georgia. Work keeps me on the road quite a bit however its always nice to stop and enjoy a meal at First Watch. The food is always consistent and never disappointing. The menu has a nice spread for breakfast or brunch. When in doubt, I recommended the Farmhouse Hash skillet. It has a combination of eggs cooled to order, breakfast potatoes, sliced tomatoes, onions and cheese that compliment the the flavors. Enjoyed with a side of multigrain toast and and incredible selection of fresh pressed juices mixed with signature flavors (Kale drink... UMMM). Priced just right and the atmosphere is comforting. If your not hungry... enjoy a cup of joe and listen to the conversations as people enjoy there meals. JD... seems to enjoy being around people as he engages in a kind and gentle conversation. Grits was banging but I had to add salt to get the result I was looking for. Hollandaise needed more salt and lemon juice! I would try this business one more time before I'm done for good. Firstly, got to start off with, that we went to this restaurant on a Sunday...after church...so it was pretty busy. Our wait was about 50 minutes. Clean environment and very nice service. We had a waitress named Emily and she took care of us well. My husband had the Barbacoa burrito and I had the smoked salmon eggs Benedict. The food was delicious! For our drinks my husband got the sunrise meditation and I had the cinnamon rush drink. You can add vitamins to your drink which I thought was pretty cool. Price for both of us was about 40 bucks which isn't bad. Only reason I'm putting 4 instead of 5 was because my potatoes were pretty burnt and we didn't have utensils when our food was brought to us. First Watch is a bit on the expensive side, but my wife and I have always enjoyed the vibe and excellent food. For us, our multiple breakfast experiences were 5 stars. Only yesterday it was a bit different: still great vibe and food in general was good. Except for my side salad -see pictures. I don't know what would have happened if I had eaten it. I let our waitress, who seemed to be new, know and, although a bit clumsy, it got replaced. The question is: why does the kitchen serve this in the first place.
