We ordered the trifecta (waffle, eggs, bacon), kids pancake (cc pancake, sausage, fruit, OJ), kids eggs and sausage and an extra side of fruit. It was delivered quick and everything (aside from that 1 sausage that looks slightly overcooked) was fresh and hot!! I'll start with the positive- that OJ was so fresh, I wish I had known how good it was going to be because I would've ordered 3 more!! The bacon was cooked perfectly, the pancake was huge, cooked well and had a great pancake/ choc chip ratio, the eggs were still soft and the waffle was soft and very tasty! Whatever the berry compote was that came with the waffle, was amazing!!! Seriously, so good. The downside- I can't review the fruit at all... because it was completely missing. The fruit side with the kids meal and the full extra fruit side i ordered were both absent. A bummer as our kids do love their fruit, but DoorDash made it right which I appreciate. Can't speak to service or atmosphere of the restaurant itself since we didn't dine in. Overall, this place was great, and we will 100% be eating it again! Knocking 1 star off just since the fruit to the kids meal and the extra side of it was missing, but I'll update my review next time we eat!

We were belatedly celebrating mom's 84th birthday, and she had not been to Yoder's in 10-15 years…read more Today was my first time. My aunt and cousin joined in on the fun, and it was my cousin's first time as well. Some in our party got the meatloaf, and exclaimed over how delicious it was. I got the parm chicken with rice, which was a little dried out and disappointing. Enter Yoder's cabbage and Dutch potato sides to save the day! Both were absolutely delicious! The cabbage was perfectly cooked and well-seasoned. I was delighted to find they were spicy, with visible red pepper flakes. The Dutch potatoes were creamy and cheesy...a new fave! The roll with the cinnamon butter was a treat indeed. And the tea? We like ours half & half...delivered in big cups with extra ice just the way we like it! I also got an English Toffee Latte to go...and it did not disappoint. Neither did the waitstaff, who were friendly, engaging and ensured our food was delivered with a smile. We left with slices of chocolate, coconut cream, and pecan caramel pie, a loaf of sourdough, and a mocha brownie treat for later. Ohhhh, and a ginormous cinnamon roll, cause why not?! The interior of Yoder's restaurant is a rustic place with a lovely shop to wander through while you wait to be seated. They have a lovely bird in the store that will sing you a song and tell you what the cat and the rooster say. So charming! All in all, I've been hearing about Yoder's for years and years...and it did not disappoint! Can't wait for a return visit!

Our party called ahead the day before visiting the restaurant for Wednesday reservations. We were…read moretold to arrive around 9am the next morning. After arriving a few minutes early we were told it would be "a bit" before they could seat us. "A bit" turned out to be more than an hour and even then they sat us at multiple tables throughout the restaurant. After being seated, we were promptly ignored. Fifteen more minutes went by before our sullen, unpleasant server took our drink orders and eventually our breakfast orders. She was not only extremely slow and inattentive, but blatantly disrespectful to one member of our party by rolling her eyes and making gestures when she thought we couldn't see her. Once our order was placed, we waited then waited more. We had decided to leave if our food had not arrived by 12pm and go to Bojangles in Vanceboro, but at 11:50, over three hours after arriving, our food finally showed up. My omelet was enormous and overflowing with ground sausage. It was OK, but would have been better with less sausage. My shredded hash browns were cold. The biscuit that accompanied the omelet was cold and hard. My dining companion liked her french toast, but noted her eggs, though properly prepared over medium, were cold. Same goes for her home fries. However, the buttery syrup, served with her french toast, was served warm and was absolutely amazing. Wow! It made my biscuit edible and was the best part of our meals. The restaurant is attached to a hardware store in a rural part of Craven County. It definitely has a country vibe and was spotless. Incredibly slow and disrespectful service combined with OK-at-best food make it difficult to recommend Voder's Dutch Pantry in any capacity to anyone.

Those inline then started just talking to us and out of nowhere again one of the staff working says you know them and the lady he was talking to says yes they are friends of mine and we all just chilled in this counter area talking and having an awesome time waiting for our food to be done overall awesome vibes here all around! Now that pepper steak sandwich wow that's good like it was soo flavorful and yummy it had a ton of pepper steak on it that was mixed with some type of sauce that just soaked into it making each bite just that much better than the one before and not to mention it was packed with some veggies too as well as banana peppers to set the vibe even more! Seriously though don't count out that bread that was some delicious bread with a good crunch to it that totally held up to an already strong delicious sandwich! Overall this was an amazing stop with vibes and one of the best sandwich's I've ever had I really hope to get back here again at some point because that flavor was there in more than one way seriously just soo good!

I got two pieces of French toast, bacon, a cheese biscuit, a pancake, a side of cheese grits and hashbrowns for less than $20 before tax. The French toast was good and favorable. The pancake was a nice size and good. Needed a bit of butter and syrup but that's to be expected. The cheese biscuit was the best cheese biscuit I ever had. It was soft, tasty and buttery. The grits were a bit plain but with some extra salt and butter were very good. They have two types of hashbrowns. One is soft and made with onions (homestyle) and the other is plain potatoes cut up and fried. Homestyle is the default, but the servers were very nice and allowed me to switch to the fried kind for no charge. The fried ones were perfect a little salt and ketchup and they were awesome. My mother and grandmother were with me. My mom got the bacon I ordered and some sausage. She said the bacon was a bit salty, but said the sausage was good. My grandmother got the eggs scrambled with cheese and said they were great. They also left the homestyle potatoes on the table and my grandmother sampled them several times and said they were good. Overall a solid dining experience. A lot of families were in there, but it wasn't too loud. Plenty of restaurant space. The waitresses are older, but get the job done. They were friendly and got the food out to us fresh and quickly. I did not get to try their lunch as they do lunch starting at 10:45am. Breakfast until 10:30am. A really good place to go when you want a quick, affordable breakfast.
