These people always look frazzled. I think having to work the front while simultaneously taking drive-thru orders is a recipe for said frazzlement. Which may not be a word, but in this case apt. Also you cannot taste the coffee in their espresso-based drinks. It's all too overpowered by the goo and fluff. To be fair, i order my coffee like i belong at Weenie Hut Jr. -but i would like to at least pretend im drinking coffee. I order two extra shots on top of whatever they already put in the drink as a base, and i still get nothing. Also the place feels..off. Like if someone told you what a coffee shop was supposed to be and you tried to emulate that after a speed run at Home Goods. It feels slapped together. The vibe is like..someone tried to make a hospital room cozy. But they are open on Sunday, and later than any of the other town spots. So it does serve in a pinch. read more

We had a nice lunch here (it's not just coffee!) I had a roast beef & cheddar panini. It was fine. Hubby had sausage, egg & cheese on a bagel. They had a wide variety of bagel flavors to choose from, and he chose everything. It was very good with generous fillings. He had an iced cold brew and I had an iced chai latte - delicious. Prices are very reasonable. Will definitely return and try some of their pastries - they had tons to choose from! The shop is very cute with seating both inside and out, plus a room in the back where you could have a little get together. read more

Nice, little mom and pop shop located in a small, strip mall at the corner of Bridge Road. Upon arrival, there was no greeting. The young person taking the order did not greet us, I had to say Good Morning to make her realize customer service is important to success. Some of the other workers were cordial. The BLT, coffee, and cinnamon roll were good. The lavender coffee was flavorful. The turkey panini lacked flavored and tasted a little bland. I wanted to try the egg croissant but they were out of eggs. This place has potential and it is much needed in the community. read more

7/23-We were traveling through and I needed to find a coffee shop that sold hot tea. I did a Yelp search and this spot was nearby so I decided to give it a try. SMH I should've kept going until I found something else. The young lady that was at the register may need customer service training bc she was rude and not helpful at all. After a staring contest she finally opened her mouth to ask "can I help you?" After I asked did they sell hot tea she said yes and that was it. Ok, can you tell me what kind and flavors? Bc it's not listed on the menu. So she huffs a second and walks to the tea canisters and read off the flavor of teas like she was at an auction. Ok ma'am I can't recall what you just said bc you said at least 7 teas. If you have lemon or something just give me a small. Took the payment, made the tea, and handed it to me and that was it. Okkk I've never been here before, do you have honey, stirrers, napkins, etc. points to the end of the counter and that's it. SMH definitely will bypass this one next time. Went to River Walk Coffee on Memorial Day. Got the Nutella coffee and it was really good. That said, I was much more impressed with the kitchen/front staff and how they were dealing with the number of people coming in. Other coffee houses in the area were closed so River Walk was extra busy. One lady was taking orders at the register, answering the phone, and making drinks. Another was taking orders at the front, drive thru, making drinks, and handling orders in the kitchen. All while a third staff member was making food orders and then had to go out to get more ice. (They were handling others tasks too) There may have been a fourth person working the back. Getting our order was not fast but it was as fast as possible with the conditions they were dealing with. Good coffee and we tried a few pastries that were good too. Didn't blow me away but definitely got the job done. I love the idea of grabbing a coffee and then walking the river, but unfortunately it was rainy the day we went so the walk was a no-go. This coffee shop has great coffee, wonderful breakfast sweets, including cheesecake, and a good selection of sandwiches for lunch including a bagel with cream cheese and salmon (hard to find in the South!). The servers are efficient and personable, too! read more

River Walk Coffee is a cute little shop on bridge street, with painted windows and art displayed in the building, what could go wrong! While it's cute, I think it may be to make up for what it lacks in coffee and service. I stopped here because my go to shop is closed on Sunday, and this morning I was desperate for caffiene. I ordered the coastal caramel breeze, which would be good if it were not just flavored milk. I ended up getting three shots of espresso added because it just lacked any taste of coffee. I say this not in a rude way but just to let others know if you actually want coffee taste, it's gonna come at a price. I had been there before with a friend who told me he had ordered us extra shots because of this same reason. Service, well, it's kind of obvious they surely don't believe in "customer is always right". I worked in good service before and I 100% get being stressed, however, my shift would have gotten written up or fired if we handled a full lobby this way. I walk in and no one greets me, which I see they're kind of busy so it doesn't bother me. But as other customers walk in it's the same pattern. I go to order and try to ask how the barista is, I'm cut off with asking for my order. Again they're busy so I try to give them the benefit of doubt. I order, I pay, whatever. While waiting I see another lady also waiting on something, with a coffee drank part of the way, iced down the rest, but she seems a little irritated. She politely went up and asked if they had made her sandwich she ordered half an hour ago, and if not she just was ready to go. Before she finished that sentence she was cut off and asked "well did you get a bagel or biscuit??" Tone was a little too off in my opinion. The customer sweet as ever says "oh I'm not sure I specified." Which leads me to believe she didn't know. Well barista stops acknowledging her, walks to the back and asks about it, with again that same rude tone, to be met with "it just came out, like I just bagged it" anyway customer gets it and then is told "it's on a biscuit by the way". I will say, I find it kind of odd to not make sure the customer was okay with said item. I receive my drink, tell them have a good day and leave. The drink despite having three shots is still pretty milky. Closing statement, this was a desperate stop since it's the only coffee shop open on Sunday, but next time I think it would save me time and money just to stop at the gas station and get a drink there. I would hope for change but I only ever see the owner argue with reviews rather than try and listen and grow from them. read more

Delicious treat and some of the best coffee! The coffee is not overly sweet or watered down, it's perfect! Lots of options. Drive thru is also a nice touch. Service was quick and friendly. read more

As a business owner myself, it's a bit odd to see the response you gave - how would you know if my wife isn't in your system if you don't know her name? lol. denying when you're unsure is hilarious. responding to my review this much later is hilarious. your staff has been rude on every visit we've had. Which is why we no longer go. It looks terrible to argue back in reviews with customers btw. It's concerning that your staff lacks BARE MINIMUM customer service. read more
