A few weeks ago, I saw them highlighted in a Facebook group as a Black-Owned business and just had to give them a try. I stopped by on Monday, but they weren't open. Then I came back Tuesday. I walked up, and the sweetest young men were working. Intrigued by the menu, I asked for a taste of the sour papaya, and instantly, my tastebuds were dancing. I asked the young men for a suggestion of what flavor to mix with it, and they were adamant that the mango would be the perfect compliment. Impressed by their product knowledge, I took their suggestion. If I'm honest, it didn't take much convincing because I am a mango fanatic, so it was a win-win! $5 + tip later, I was ready to go. After snapping a picture or two for my Yelpers, I dug right in! The burst of flavors was out of this world. I ate all of it, without hesitation, and knew instantly--I was hooked. I went twice more last week and tried the rainbow and coconut and pineapple. All were delicious, and I'm excited to try all of their flavors soon. If I had to rank them (and it's tight), my palate would say mango and sour papaya, rainbow, and then coconut and pineapple. The coconut and pineapple are delicious but rich. I'm honestly a wimp when it comes to sweets. But I will say that the creaminess of the coconut was terrific. It felt like drinking coconut milk from a coconut in the islands. My Tips: Follow them on social media to see all of the flavor offerings for the day--there are more than what is on the sandwich board; bring cash or have your cash app cued up (prices are $3 for a small, $5 for a medium and $7 for a large); ask the young gentlemen for suggestions, they know their stuff; lastly ENJOY OFTEN, you won't be sorry.
