Hostess greeted us with a great smile and we didn't have to wait for a table. We have to wait a little bit for waitress. She wasn't the best, maybe she was new. That's the reason why I rated 4 stars. That coffee was great. We did ask for creamer for my table. Had to ask again for the water she forgot. We asked for hot sauce she forgot. But the food was excellent. The price for the quality and quantity was great for us. Huge and yummy for a kid's pancakes/bacon meal. We were pleased, but hope a different waiter. This place is amazing! It's right off Hwy290 and has plenty of parking. The interior design is really well-thought, they've really incorporated urban, farm-like feel...from their light fixtures to their food. First watch uses locally raised and grown ingredients which made their food super tasty and fresh. I won't even mention their freshly made juices. My favorite is the Morning Meditation and their avocado toasts. My mouth waters with their turkey sausage biscuits and gravy. The restaurant is clean as well as there restroom. Employees are friendly, polite and very attentive to your needs. I will definitely come back to this place again and highly recommend that you try it too. read more

I was here a little over a month ago and found beard hair in my food. The staff saw my reaction and approached me. They seemed sincere in their apology. The manager came over and also apologized and said he was going to take the one meal off of our ticket. They offered to make me a new plate but the problem was they have a open kitchen and their chef had his facial covering hanging off his ear the entire time, he had a full beard with no covering on it. So I passed for more food because the beard hair matched in size to his. Mistakes happen, I get it. I was nice the entire time. I wanted to give them a second chance. So I walked in today and sat down. I happen to glance over and there is the same chef, with his facial covering hanging from an ear, and no beard covering which is required by the state. They've lost my business. I went to go get a picture of the man, and I guess he went on break, and the manager went to fill his spot. With gloves on, no mask and no beard covering. I got a video of that. I didn't say anything to anyone. The manager clearly doesn't care about this store. My server was still tipped very well. The wait staff is awesome. First time we've been here since it opened. We came after our daughter's first communion on a late Saturday morning. We had 7 people in our party. We were greeted with a smile and seated within a few minutes. The service was slow. It took quite a while to get our food. Most of the food was good and filling. My son didn't like the grilled cheese and the only other bread they could use was gluten free and he didn't like that option, so he just ate the fruit. My daughter ordered off the kids' menu that said drinks were included. She got a hot chocolate. NOT included. When we checked out, we asked and they said no it wasn't included. A restaurant with good customer service would have taken it off, but instead they were quite rude about it. Also a good customer service tip would be to comp the meal of the person who didn't like the food. Would I go back? Yes, but only with a small group. Our brunch bill was $80+ tip. The staff is all so kind and work fast as they can. Also very clean, always a plus and fair prices. Outdoor seating available. I'm not a fan of pancakes (more of a waffle girl), but along with all their healthy options, the multigrain carrot cake pancakes caught my attention. They are not too sweet and have the perfect amount of bits of carrots and raisins. Not to mention they are huge! I opted for the Kale Tonic. Our server, Amy, was friendly and reviewed the "must haves" on the menu. I decided on (and I may get this wrong), but I think it was called the Chickichanga. It was filled with chorizo, chicken and a whole lot of yumminess! They topped it with a hollandaise sauce, sour cream and pico. Writing about it is making my mouth water (Thanks Amy!) the potatoes were cooked to perfection, crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. You also got a little bowl of fresh fruit which was just as good. We both left fat and happy and will definitely return. Went here because it's one of the only brunch places this North in Cypress. The food was surprisingly good with a multitude of choices. We ordered OJ, Morning Meditation, and Biscuits and Gravy to start. All of these were great! Biscuits and Gravy were a perfect item to share. I particularly ordered the tacos as my entree. The tacos were great and I was even able to sub egg whites. I replaced the beans with potatoes and that really was the best choice. Overall the food was good and the wait actually wasn't bad at all for being a Saturday morning. My only complaint was the waiter was SLOW and forgetful. But i would come again for sure. This was my first time trying out this place. I arrived (party of 4) at 8:50am on a Saturday. We were immediately seated, which was a nice surprise. The restaurant was busy, but not overly crowded. The atmosphere in the restaurant is bright and relaxing. The staff members are very polite and attentive. I ordered the trifecta breakfast...choice of either waffle or pancake with two eggs, and choice of bacon or sausage. I had mine with two over medium eggs, chicken sausage, and a waffle. The eggs were cooked perfectly, as was the light, airy waffle. The chicken sausage had a funky flavor. It didn't care for the sausage, but everything else was tasty. The waffle was served with a raspberry preserve sort of compote. Delicious! My teen daughter ordered the huevos rancheros tostada. She loved it! My 5 year old has their kid's meal pancake. It's typically served with chocolate chips, but we substituted with blueberries. Her meal was served with bacon or sausage. She chose bacon. The coffee was hot and robust. The water served was room temperature though, and definitely tap water. Gross. If you're going to serve tap water, they had better make it ice cold and serve it either lots of lemons to disguise that funk. I had to ask for water three times and lemons twice. Had I known it was going to be room temperature tap water, I would've spared the waiter the trouble. For my toddler, I ordered a scrambled egg. It was served not even soft scrambled...whites were runny. I sent it back and asked them to cook it longer. I finally received that single scrambled egg at the end of our meal. The manager comped the egg, without me even mentioning it as a problem, which I appreciated. Total price for two adult meals, a kid's meal, a juice, and a coffee was $35...typical. Negatives...plates are way too big for the amount of food on the plates, and the size of the tables. At a 4-top, the table top was crowded because of those giant square plates... unnecessary and a nuisance. The nasty, room temperature tap water is a huge negative for me. I'd like to go back to try their brioche French toast, but will be bringing my own bottle of water when I go back. read more
