Love, love, love First Watch, but I will never go back to this location. I ordered a carry out order for breakfast, and when I arrived there were 7 Uber Eats/GrubHub workers waiting for food. They said they had been there for at least 20 minutes & their food said it was ready... but no food. I waited 10 minutes after my order was supposed to be finished, asked if they had my order, the host said they are showing it in the system. I waited 20 minutes, asked if I missed it or if I should still be waiting, and another host said "20minutes is the shortest of our worries". I finally got my food 35 minutes after it said it was ready. When I got home, there was a small piece of raw chicken in my parfait. The entire restaurant was crowded with people trying to pickup food. My suggestion would be to have a feature that shows accurate ETA for food so that this doesn't happen. Multiple delivery drivers cancelled their orders, and by the time I left, there were 10 delivery drivers still waiting around. I felt so bad for them.

Soo I had a breakfast date... BY MYSELF lol!!! I decided to grab some much needed food to nourish this here vessel of mine. Order: Eggs Benedict Salmon, Blueberry Pancake, & Coffee Pros: The eggs benedict was pretty good! The eggs were perfectly poached and the potatoes were cooked perfectly!!!! Coffee was great as well. Cons: Pancake had a crunch to it. I had to send it back for another one. However, it wasnt a huge deal breaker... I just like light and fluffy pancakes. The sauce on the eggs Benedict had an interesting lemon taste to it. Wasn't a huge fan. I wish there was additional salmon lol.

The ambiance, the service, and the food get 5 stars. The location was pretty busy for a Monday at brunch, but our food came out relatively quick and our server was very attentive. I ordered eggs florentine while my friend ordered the chicken pesto hash. He said that his meal's flavor combination was out of this world! My eggs florentine were also pretty spot on, the hollandaise sauce was extremely fresh and the house potatoes were extremely tasty! The coffee was also really good. Highly recommend giving it a try!

Usually this place delivers for me but this time it fell a little flat. I tried out the chickichanga and ordered via Uber Eats. What I got is pictured below. I think I was honestly most disappointedly the temperature of the food and the quantity of fruit. Considering that the fruit side is considered in the total price, the fact that I received a total of four grapes (and that's it) was disappointing, even a little laughable. If you don't have enough fruit for an adequate side, sub with something comparable, or adjust the price. Don't give a customer four grapes. The entree, while a little hastily and poorly constructed, was still flavorful. I thought the lemon crema was a little too lemony, but that might just be personal preference. My side of sour cream helped counter the high acidity that distracted from the rest of the dish. I also added hot sauce from home and helped to jazz things up. Potatoes were good and well seasoned, not too salty. I understand there's a lot of stuff that could have contributed to the preparation of this meal, and I've had good food before, so maybe this was just an off day. I'll still order again, but maybe buy my own fruit instead.

AM superfood bowl (chia seed pudding + fruit, toast with almond butter) about $10

Within 20 minutes we received our text and were seated. The ambiance was fun and relaxing to the seating to the music, all a good vibe. Our waiter, Preston, was amazing. From start to finish he brought the energy and recommended a few things! White Sangria was amazing. Make sure to get the biscuits and you'll need more because they are . We shared the street corn nachos and you'll have to try the freshest jalapeños on them, by far the best nachos ever! I kept with the theme and did the Al pastor tacos but with grilled chicken plus queso and chips on the side! Stuffed and amazed at how quick yet fresh and delicious everything was. Every single person kept saying how great their meal was. Danielle, the manager even stopped by to make sure everyone was taken care of! After an amazing meal like that we had to try the desserts, the butter cake and banana were both great but definitely think if you only get one, the butter cake is where it's at. I will absolutely make sure to plan a visit here on my next trip.

As always, asked for recommendations from our server. Shout out to Jett because everything he recommended I loved! Favorite part of the meal was the short rib and carrot hummus and the cheddar scallion biscuits. I liked it so much I actually thought of ordering some to go. Menu has so many options to choose from, it caters to many types of palettes. My bevy, the Blackberry Cooler, was refreshing. My friend got the non alcoholic version and said it was too tart. Only disappointment of the night was they ran out of the brown butter cake. The banana caramel cake was still a good substitution. Plenty of parking but do recommend to make a reservation to avoid long wait times. Cant wait to come back and enjoy a happy hour.

First time at Derive…read more Good amount of parking. The space is somewhat small but is done well. The bar has a good vibe and is where I sat. I got the Korean BBQ smash burger topped with Korean BBQ aioli, Cleveland Kraut Kimchi, gochugaru (korean chili flake) and scallion. I don't understand the smash burger craze since I like my burgers medium rare, but if I have to eat a smash burger to enjoy these toppings, I'm in! The heat, texture and combination of flavors were epic. The fries are well done too! They were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and this was even after 30 minutes. Nothing fancy but done amazingly well and very quickly. My burger was out in a few minutes. I will say that the pizzas I saw coming out of the kitchen will have me coming back to try one of them. The beer was good, although I'll admit that the heat from the burger affected my pallet to truly enjoy the beers since I got a tasting flight. I was here on a Friday night between 5:45 and 7 and it was filling up until I was ready to head out. They do have happy hour on Friday from 2-5pm for $1 off pints.

I appreciate when walking into someplace I'm unfamiliar with, I am welcomed in graciiously, even though they don't know me at all. I ordered a flight of beer so I could try a few different beers. I also ordered a pint afterward of one of the IPAs I enjoyed. My server recommended some flavors to try while I was there and he was spot on. (I interacted with two different servers, one male, one female, both equally helpful and friendly). I would return, only in part for good beer, moreso it's the inviting feel I get from this place. This staff realizes that we have options around town and they made me feel like they wanted me there.

This one didn't offer one, which was a general disappointment (and offering to be might benefit them-- the place was dead for most of the two hours we were there). The space is beautiful and luxurious: a lovely fountain is in the center and signature chandeliers fill the dining area. I was a little disappointed that the choices of seating were were given -- though the place was empty-- was either a very small table (so small our servers apologized for having to awkwardly stack things as dishes came out) or a table attached to the only other large party dining there. Felt like a very strange choice. Also, while the place is very upscale and very expensive, that vibe was somewhat at odds with other diners who did arrive in what literally looked like old pajama pants and workout gear. The food was all good, but portions are very small for the big prices: entrees are all in the $50 range, sandwiches in the $30 range. A "petite" baked potato (which is petite indeed) was $14; burrata was $26. It was fine, but you can have a true consistently upscale experience elsewhere for those kinds of prices. I'd come back -- if there was a happy hour!
