We came here on a Friday afternoon, and was seated within minutes. They do close at 2:30pm, and we arrived at 1pm. Our waiter was sweet and helpful with deciding on what sweet bfast to order. We ended up ordering the lemon ricotta pancakes. That was delicious and not too sweet. The lemon ricotta was nice and tangy with good big strawberries. The savory dish we ordered was the quesabirra hash- 10/10 must get! It was on the seasonal menu- but they need to consider keeping it full time because it knocked it out of park. The meat was nicely seasoned and the potatoes were coated in the yummy sauce. I also ordered the mint mocha ice coffee, initially it was very sweet- tasted more like a mint chocolate milk. But after having the savory dish, it was the great way to end the breakfast- so not to bad after all. We cleared both plates. Would come back again!! read more

Today's visit unfortunately left me with that meh, I was excited to come in been a while. Even the download my app and RSVP,d to get in line. Upon arrival I checked in at the host stand and my app txted me a updated time #2 in line possible 10mote minutes. Well it starts here watching 4 other groups getting sat and no texts, updated to bro BFF kicked off app waitlist now. 10min passed too. So we inquired what's taking so long for a table when all these other folks after us are being sat. Turns out hostess didn't send texts as she should have abs I know cause as I was showing her my phone and saying I was off the queue and had no texts she pressed a button on her tablet and immediately I got the text. Not cool! After getting sat we order turkey club and tomato soup and a Bacardi omelette with greens. The food was okay some things didn't show up on time and had to wait longer for condiments or drinks but we managed through. I think it will be another year or more before we return. Just so many other more interesting places to go for same money and be able to leave with a good vibe and smile. This was average read more

A really good breakfast spot! The server was very nice and attentive. I ordered the Quesabirria Hash and a side of the million dollar bacon. The bacon was really good, sweet & savory. The Quesabirria Hash was good but I think it was missing something seasoning wise. read more

Ordered take out from here today and our breakfast was delicious. When we got it, our food was hot as if it just came off the grill. We got home and it was still very hot. First Watch has always been one of my favorite brunch spots! They have many locations and the best part is that each location gives you the best experience and atmosphere. Our server Brenda was amazing she spoke Spanish and has a great personality, keeps the table up with drinks and smiles throughout our experience at the Apollo Beach area. I ordered my favs which is Ham & Gruyère Melt paired with a purple Haze and a pair cinnamon toast cereal milk. My friend got the traditional plate which is good if you want a little bit of everything in your morning dish. I enjoy bringing my love ones to this amazing restaurant for a good start to our day! read more

Yes they were busy. But, after 30 minutes of waiting on our food, the waiter informed us that the order (by him, Eric) wasn't placed. So we reordered, and still waited another 30+ minutes. read more

I love First Watch, the food is so good, flavorful and prepared to be more on the healthier side. We have not had a meal there we have not enjoyed. Service is always delivered friend and courteous. The place is open and relaxing. They have a nice variety of drinks, some you are able to get with alcohol. There is one drink with ginger and agave I love to get especially if I'm feeling a lil something coming on, allergies or cold. As hubby and I love First Watch I can bet you will to. If you have seen them however never stopped do your pallets a favor and stop, go in and get a delicious meals and drink. We have gone many many times. Introduced to this place by our son, thank you son. Pictures from a few different visits. read more

My wife's favorite place for breakfast. Not cheap but very good. She loves the avocado toast with eggs , avocados are fresh and tasty, toast & eggs done just as she ordered-perfect , I ordered the ranchero breakfast enchiladas -chicken, chorizo & cheese wrapped in a tortilla with Avocado & cheese on top .. spicy but not overpowering with a side of black beans - excellent, I would order again. Our server Lexi was personable and very good, coffee and tea service was prompt and overall she made us feel welcomed. The place is clean and bright ... was a little cold inside but other than we will be back for sure read more

Absolutely FANTASTIC experience with exceptional food and service by Natalie. From being out of town where we have FW at home, I just overlooked it as another chain and now I can honestly say it's a top breakfast choice! I hope the location at home can compare to Apollo Beach FW. The modern yet subtle decor is beautiful and I loved sitting on the patio! I ordered the raspberry ricotta French toast special- INCREDIBLE. It is clear they pay close detail to food presentation and quality! To balance the sweetness, I ordered a side of turkey sausage which was super flavorful- you wouldn't know it was a healthier choice. Very, very impressed to find a local spot that uses quality ingredients and friendly waitstaff. read more

My love took me to this breakfast spot. I had a difficult time deciding what to order because everything sounded so good. I finally decided on the pancakes, he decided on the omelette. Everything tasted phenomenal, and the service was on point. I wish I got my waitresses' name so I could hype her on here. Ambience was super amazing for a morning date. Great food and service. Nice atmosphere. And I love the wait list feature in their app. But pricey for what you get. I got the Bananna Brittle French Toast (pictured) which was great. But it's $14 for two pieces and nothing else. And there's no rewards program or senior discount like their competitors. That would have us return more often. read more

First Watch - a plate of food with eggs and potatoes - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Apollo Beach, Florida

I am so happy they put a first watch over here ! Anyone who lives in this area knows that the drive to big bend and 301 is horrible, so if we just have to go on 41 - it's super convenient. My husband and I came at an odd time so we didn't have to wait in line or anything. We got seated as we came in and were greeted right away by almost everyone in the restaurant - it was great :) our server was great and she came right over and took our drink orders and food orders. We both ordered the purple haze and waters for our drinks. For our entrees, my husband ordered the turkey sausage and gravy biscuits with a side of bacon. He was very pleased with his meal. I ordered the BLTE sandwich. When they brought mine out, they did bring the incorrect item. They brought me a blt Benedict, but they corrected it right away and brought me my correct meal. My sandwich was great and full of flavor. Our server was very apologetic for the mishap and kept coming over to check on us to make sure everything was good. She was very sweet. Overall, we had a great first visit here and we will back for sure. read more

Our waitress was great. There was also a woman who seemed to be floor manager who was a delight - great sense of humor and we were admiring a fab Shelby Truck in the parking lot. My husband loved his pancake. My Frittata Rustica was overdone but flavor was good. Coffee was very good. However, the young woman who was the greeter then processed our payment at the end persisted in calling me Sweetie, I think there was a Dear in there and perhaps a Honey. Why? I'm older but still scuba dive, pilot a plane, take no prisoners, and listen to better music than she might. SO irritating. Please school your greeters not to do that. It's condescending, disrespectful, and rude. Perhaps terribly old people who can't hear think it's nice. Most of my friends find it rude. read more

I love the combination of avocado and fried eggs, so I'm glad they have that. Waitress was very sweet and patient. Price was okay. The rest of my group enjoyed their meals as well. We have been to first watches all over the place, but we have been to this particular location in Apollo Beach several times when visiting family. The food and service are excellent as is the case at most locations, but what really sets this location apart is the chalkboard with the menu on the wall. It's eye-catching and like a fine work of art. It really accentuates the experience and makes it so nice to be there. Whoever does their wall art it talented. read more

My wife and I have had breakfast here on two occasions. We only went because of buy one, get one free for our birthdays. The service was better here than at the Riverview location as well a former location that was The Egg and I. My only complaint was even though 1 meal was free the outrageous price for coffee @$3.99 must have been made with imported water. Can't wait to see next year's price!! read more

Food was fresh and prepared to order. (I am picky) service was wonderful too! We ate lunch there, no wait for a table

Came in with a big group around 1:30pm on a Saturday and were seated right away, but unfortunately that's where the compliments end. The service left much to be desired, it seemed like most of the staff were in training but the server training them wasn't very experienced either. They took a very long time to take our orders, and then took a very long time to serve our drinks. When the food arrived they had made a mistake with one dish and had no idea who ordered what. The breakfast potatoes were bland and overcooked. I wanted to love this place, but I was disappointed. read more
