My friend came to visit, and we decided to go to Latitudes for a quick bite since we didn't want to drive far. The place was nicely decorated for the holidays and they also had live music. We chose to sit outside and the service was smooth. I ordered the salmon which was delicious and perfectly moist, though my quinoa was a bit bland to my taste. My friend enjoyed his shrimp dish. My only critique is that our server came as we were having our last bites to ask if she could bring the check, rather than asking if we wanted anything else. I was actually planning to order another class of that Chardonnay, but I went to the wine bar next door for it. Our server was very young and sweet, so perhaps just need a little more experience. Overall it was a pleasant experience.

1lb peel n eat shrimp

Had a pretty disappointing outing at Latitudes. It was around 1pm on Saturday we went in for lunch, and the place was dead. About 12 people in the place. After ordering our food, it took over 40 minutes for it to come out, and by that time only 4 other people remained in the restaurant. When we asked about what the delay was we were ignored multiple times. We were told it was our peel n eat shrimp APPETIZER they were waiting on. Anyone who has made shrimp knows it takes minutes to cook and an immediate ice bath to cool down. It was very frustrating. Additionally the smashed burger came out lukewarm and the expectation with a smash burger is that it's smashed (thin) but these were rather thick and slightly pink inside. The fries were also very salty. The shrimp were however very good and fresh, but that was about it.

Traditional breakfast

Here on a Sunday because they have a brunch menu, The menu has about 10 to 15 options approximately and I went with the traditional breakfast of eggs, bacon, breakfast potatoes and toast. I have to say it was very delicious and I received just enough. My wife went with the breakfast burger which has an egg and bacon with a side of breakfast potatoes. It was a nice size burger that my wife was only able to eat a few bites. Our friends dining with us ordered chicken & waffles and shrimp & grits. They both said that their meals ( not pictured ) were delicious and the one thing that was pleasant was the chicken is a boneless breast. The service was very good and the bill was about what I thought it would be. If in Apollo Beach it's definitely worth trying

Wonton Wrapped Shrimp

We had a great dinner here on an early Sunday evening. We shared Wonton Wrapped Shrimp - yummy. I chose the "build your bowl" with Salmon, rice, spinach. Lots of bowl choices, and mine was very good. He got the fried shrimp plate with rice and green beans. Nice big shrimp, delicious. Maria was our server - friendly, excellent. Ambiance is intimate, sports bar, tables, high tops, bar side. Had the games on. Nice big menu. Affordable. Recommend for sure .

Was hoping for a good experience as it is our first time here. So far it is anything but enjoyable. The atmosphere and the live music are good. That's about where it ends for right now. We have been here for well over an hour and still do not have our meals. The tables are only half full and there plenty of servers here to run food and bus tables. Maybe the kitchen is just really slow but this is not acceptable to be waiting for over an hour, actually 1 hour and 20 minutes at this time. Finally got our food. A jalapeño burger, medium well. Was basically rare Cajun chicken pasta may be the saltiness dish I've ever had Grouper sandwiches x2 good but not great Needless to say, this will be a one and done for me which stinks because I live close to here

He said the one here is different from anywhere else I've ever been and boy oh boy was he right. The Caesar salad here is neck and neck with Jay Luigi for best Caesar salad in all of Tampa Bay. I freaking loved it and would seriously go here again and just order double Caesar salads and that's it. It's really that good. I also had the $23 Burrata and it was great too. I definitely need to come back here again and try more food items. For drinks, I had a $20 Crimson Heat. It was pretty good, I wish it had a stronger burnt mezcal taste, but I liked it. Also, had a $22 Espresso Martini. I liked it a lot too. I would rate it a 8.5/10. The restaurant itself is beautiful inside and super huge. There is a bar at the front in the middle and a bar in the way back. I actually appreciate the fact the hostess told me to take off my hat. I like classy places like this. I will certainly be back with my dad as he loves Caesar salads.

My daughter ordered a ribeye medium rare. It was delivered rare--she didn't send it back because it took so long to get the meal. Espresso martini on the desert menu was awful and bitter. Overrated and far too expensive for the disappointing experience.

I was able to order a sirloin and eggs, plenty of protein to start my day. Ashley was working this morning and was very happy to share some news of their uniquely delicious dessert options. If you are a dessert person and dine out then you know how boring it can't be in the Tampa area. You get the same old lava cake, key lime pie, Apple something with caramel drenched on it and the peanut butter pie and cheesecake. Well finally the Bistro decided to take it up a notch and get a lemon cello cake, a chocolate torte. So for a short time if one of these desserts appeals to you hurry over before they are gone. Ambiance is casual and open lots of seating options from booths to high tops to regular tables and bar seating too. Service is also very good your greeted with a smile and when it's busy you still get a acknowledgement.

When we arrived, we were the only people in the restaurant, but the server was really friendly and happy to see us. We grabbed a booth large enough for the 6 of us and looked over the menu. Our server brought over some water and offered other drinks and gave us some recommendations whenever we were ready to order. I saw the flatbread on the menu and knew it would be just perfect portion and flavor. Nothing else on the menu matched what I was hungry for since I didn't want anything too heavy. Others ordered some pasta dishes and they even had some tuna on the menu. Overall, this was. good meal. The food all came out pretty quickly and everyone enjoyed their meals.

I initially ordered the prime burger and asked for it to be well done. Once I received my plate, I was ready to dig in and decided to cut the burger in half as it was so big. Good thing I did because the burger was totally rare on the inside. In the meantime, I decided to eat my side of couscous and discovered there was hair in couscous. I informed the server and she took the dish to the back. The manager did come to the table and was apologetic about the undercooked burger. I decided to order the chicken and doughaffle, instead of another burger, which was cooked to perfection. I would come back for that dish alone.
