Finn's dockside bar and Grill has an amazing view of the bay. We were immediately seated upon arrival and we opted to sit outside for the view. I ordered the grouper Poboy with fries and a mango mocktail that was entirely too sweet. Overall, we enjoyed the atmosphere and the vibes. Great stop for dinner.
Went tonight for the burger specials. We got both the nacho burger and the surf and turf burger. Both were good. Cheese sauce on nacho burger was really good. Surf and turf is a stretch you get two small shrimp. Buns could also use a good toasting. Their fries are awesome and we got the cucumber salad which was nice. Our server was also super nice
Best. Brussels sprouts. Ever! I know! I'm at a seafood place with great views and tons of tropical drinks-and I appreciate all of that, too. But the Brussels sprouts... wow! They're made with honey... and honey, they're gooood! They're magical-and after an extra long work week, they were also medicinal. Finn's sits right on the water, in Apollo Beach. It's tucked back in a residential area, not far off U.S. 41, right next to Circles. We were there at 12;30 on a Friday afternoon and parking was already scarce. (I can't imagine weekend nights) But don't let that hold you back. This is a fun spot-with inside dining-a huge covered deck and two other outside areas-all with great views. The food and bar menus have enough temptations to keep you coming back for that alone. The blackened mahi was cooked well and not too spicy. It comes with pineapple pico-that was balanced-not overwhelmed by onions. And the fries were really good-nice crunch-came out piping hot. And don't forget the Brussels (I sure won't!) I thought $21.99 was a fair price for the generous portion of fish and two sides (they have a large sides selection!) The drinks were good-nice kick, but not too strong--just right. I hadn't had a rumrunner in *years but suddenly had a craving for one. I knew it would be sweet-and it was-but I liked it. The key lime colada (made with Rumchata coconut!) was very sweet but really good. The perfect dessert. The vibe is casual, laid back and fun. Service was warm and super efficient. Amanda always knew just when to check in. It was the perfect April day to be out on the deck. It's a great spot to laugh with friends or just chill out and slow down. I'm all for all of it. Finntastic!
So this was my first time at Finn's for lunch with a couple of friends. The view is spectacular through the wall of windows. I've been to Circles several times and just happened to notice this restaurant next-door. Finn gives casual seafood waterfront vibes. I was just getting over a cold so my taste buds were not at their best however we started with the five dollar drink which was pretty small but good. We also had the chips and queso which were good and generous portion too. I had the mahi-mahi wrap and my friends had Cobb salads with chicken. The service was friendly and efficient. Will be back to try the burgers.
A huge suburban version of Salt Shack at Apollo Beach. Only stopped here for a couple of drinks. My strawberry mojito wasn't as strong as I'd like. I guess that's one of the main difference.. Good spot and during the day I'm sure the water uew is good.
Finn's actually checked off all the boxes for what I was looking for... So we're camping and decided we wanted a change of scenery... Something on the water with live music... Deep down I also wanted outdoor seating with a little lively atmosphere. Sometimes you get what you want just as I did here at Finn's. Pulling up and parking spots were at a premium... Large enough parking lot but this must be the place to go... We got lucky and snagged a spot pretty quickly... We entered through the tiki bar entrance and were seated right away... Service was super quick and friendly... Food and drinks were on point as was the waterfront atmosphere and live music.. Did I mention you can come here by boat?? Enjoyed our visit here and will return if ever back in the area... Cheers.. .
Finns was solid, but nothing special. Location is great, right in the water! They do have a small parking lot which will for sure fill up on the weekends, they did not design that very well. No overflow parking options so you're forced to park in the middle of the divided highway. Food was okay, oysters were good but the shrimp po boy was lacking. Over cooked and the bread was stale. Fries were good! Drinks were also good!! Overall, I think I would come back to the atmosphere and the nice location. Food could be improved.
Wow, I was expecting bar food at this place, but it was so much more. I got the blackened mahi, potatoes, and Brussels. It was phenomenal, especially for a sports bar. The atmosphere was just as you imagine for watching sports etc. right on the water! Everyone enjoyed their food. No cocktails this time, but I'm sure we will be back to enjoy some! Great service as well, server was very knowledgeable about gluten free items.
I had a great time here. Andrew was an amazing waiter; super attentive and friendly, which really made the visit enjoyable. The drinks were okay, a little on the sweet side, but the food and overall service definitely made up for it. The music was playing the whole time, so the atmosphere stayed fun and lively. We ordered oysters, wings, burgers, and a chicken wrap, and everything came out fresh and tasty. I'd definitely come back.
This is a beautiful little restaurant with an amazing atmosphere and view, but the food leaves a lot to be desired. I ordered the Caprese salad, and it was incredibly salty. I was with a party of 11 and at least three other diners in my party complained about the saltines of their food, which were all different entrées. Our server was incredibly friendly and attentive, and the apple pie colada was really good.
Stopped by for happy hour after a rough day and Jamie was the bartender at the Tiki bar. Despite being fairly crowded, she was kind, courteous, and extremely pleasant to order from. Gorgeous views as pictured. Love it here! Didn't order food this time but it's been great in the past when I visited.
Not our first time here won't be the last. Great venue with spectacular views of the water. Nice diverse menu and the food has always been good. Drink specials and the salads and admins were done very well.
Reviews are mixed. Many praise the waterfront views and lively atmosphere, as well as the friendly service and drink selection and happy hour.

(Also iykyk BTS members were here too :DD) We arrived around 3 PM, and the restaurant was super busy and packed. I was expecting a wait but we got seated right away. Initially, we asked to sit outside and it was really nice at first. The breeze and fresh air in the shade were definitely 10/10. But as the afternoon went on, the sun got much hotter and the seagulls became absolutely VICIOUS LOLL, so we ended up asking to move inside. The staff were so accommodating and let us pick whichever table we wanted, which I really appreciated. Now onto the food, WOW was the first word that came out of my mouth the portions are HUGE. There were a lot of great options to choose from, but I ended up getting the grilled lobster mac and cheese. The portion was HEFTY. I ate so much, yet it still looked like I barely made a dent in the bowl lol. The flavor was good, but it was saltier than I expected, and the more I ate, the more noticeable the saltiness became. I didn't catch the names of my friends' dishes, but they all really enjoyed their meals. Overall, it's a great spot with amazing views, generous portions, and great service. Not super busy on a gorgeous Saturday night. The good: the shrimp boil is amazing. I do wish there was an option to order more bread to go along with it. The location on the water is beautiful and the patio tables are great, with fans to help with temperature control. The meh: This place is super inconsistent, even within the same visit. I had one spicy margarita that was amazing and had a couple of jalapeno slices. My friend ordered one that was missing the jalapenos and was just ok. The cooks forgot to add the honey sriracha sauce to our brussel sprouts (which I've had here before so I knew something was missing). The solution to just bring a cup of the sauce to the table was not it. The bad: That parking lot. Not a single place to park, yet the restaurant was not at all busy. It seemed like people parked there and walked next door. Just ok. $75 for two drinks and two apps seems excessive when they just can't get it right. read more

This was a hidden gem recommended by a friend. The service was good and quick. The drinks were well made and had a healthy amount of alcohol. My favorite were the seafood boils and the appetizers were delicious. The winner here is the view. It is absolutely stunning. There was music in the background and a family area for the kids to play. I've wanted to try this place for a while since I grew up in the Tampa Bay Area but live more near lutz. Finally was able to try it and honestly the food wasn't impressive at all. I for one will pay top dollar for good food but the prices don't reflect the food quality imo. The buffalo dip was served in what looked like a frozen pizza dinner container (tasted microwaved). I will say the ambiance of the place is cool, you're outdoors on the water. It 's nice... just wished they would do something about the food. The waitress was sweet and very attentive, again my 3 stars is solely based on the service and the ambiance of the place. read more

Stopped in to Finn's after spending half the day at the Teco Manatee Viewing Platforms. We had a very nice experience at Finn's. We started with a round of coconut shrimp. Shrimp were large, well cooked and piping hot. Then we did Cobb salads with blackened grouper. The fish was so fresh. We also split a shrimp boil. It was nicely seasoned and had shrimp, corn, potatoes and sausage. All in all, great time, good view of the sunset and awesome food. read more

Delicious, great view, and amazing service. Food was amazing and atmosphere was really nice. Portions were large, which made the prices a little more reasonable. Drinks were great, but if you are looking for an "affordable" dinner place, then I would suggest other places in the area (unless you plan on sharing). Overall, very yummy! read more

The views are beautiful from the really nice patio and the food is delicious. The service was not great, the server barely checked on us. I ordered iced tea and they did not have sugar or sugar substitute. Never been to a restaurant that doesn't carry sugar or sugar substitute packets. read more

O.m.g. A few weeks ago one of the girls and I came here for lunch, and Finn's was having a deal on special burgers. We got the pickle burger that had fried pickles, and a pickle aioli and it was soooooo good. They absolutely need to add this to the menu, because it's almost as good as the view! read more

Really love this restaurant. We sat outside and enjoyed the fresh air. There was live music which really set the atmosphere. I had a wedge salad with blackened salmon and a strawberry lemonade cooler to drink. Delish! Maggie was our waitress and she was super friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend a visit! read more

This Location is amazing. Stopped in right at sunset, with live music playing and it was a total vibe being there right in the water. You seat yourself outside and there is plenty of space to choose from. Menu is pretty normal for a restaurant and bar, ok prices and the food was adequate. Couldn't leave 5 stars due to the service. We sat for 10 min before someone even greeted us, then another 8 for someone to bring waters and allow us to order. Her attention was lacking even after we ordered, no silverware was given and no one came back to take our dirty plates. That was the only thing disappointing. read more
I came here with a big group of friends to celebrate a birthday. I was pleasantly surprised to see that they had an indoor and outdoor area as the night we went It was a bit chilly. It was nice to have the option to sit inside. They also had live music, which was a nice touch. I really love the beachy vibe. This restaurant is right on the water with that said definitely recommend coming to see the sunset. The food is very good and the portions are large. I recommend the lobster mac & cheese. This is not your normal lobster mac & cheese as they give you a whole lobster tail. I was definitely impressed with that. They have a full bar with an array of drinks. I recommend getting the fins strawberry margarita it was delicious. This is a great place to come to whether it's for a family event, first date, or just wanna hang with friends. After a long day on the water just park the boat in one of the convenient docks and boom there you are with the open seating bar and good company. Was there on a Saturday night and it was busy but a FUN busy everyone laughing talking and live music and the grouper bites I had were seasoned to perfection! 5/5 read more

First off, the service was amazing! The drinks, especially the vanilla blueberry mojito, were chef's kiss . The mahi entrée was delicious, and the fish and chips were perfectly cooked. I just wish this spot was closer to Miami! We stopped in for a quick bite, but if I lived nearby, it would definitely be a go-to favorite. Such a chill vibe by the water read more

This place is one of our go to spots for lunch. Always such amazing views if you sit outside. They have a band that also plays on one side as well. A bar inside and outside. Servers are always friends. Bloody Mary's are also great here. read more
