Few friends wanted to try out the local Apollo Beef O'Brady's since we really like some of the other locations. Staff changed the TV for me, which was nice. However, the french fries were overcooked and the rice had a pound of salt in it. The Food took forever and the bathroom was grossest I've seen at any restaurant. It didn't seem like anyone was keeping things running smoothly. The worst part was I don't think they even have AC. It's Florida summer! If I could give 0 stars to management, I would. We were talking to a couple regulars and they were talking about how it has gone downhill with new management and recently losing some of their favorite foods and bartenders at the store. Was told to try out Grayson's down the street. That will be my next try in hoping to find a decent Apollo spot local for beer and sports. Cheers. read more

I had a craving for a burger. It was around 11:30 on a Saturday. We were not greeted by any of The staff when we came in. Went directly to the bar area to order the burger. Daily specials during the week with good deals on favorite food. Large bar at this location. We sat at the bar because we were ignored at the hostess area. Walking in the front door there was a rancid smell, like backed up sewage. It was about 8 o'clock Sunday evening. We ordered our beverage and a hamburger with onion rings. The drinks were cold, so was the food. Nothing was warm. It was like the burger and rings were left under a heat lamp and then served. The restaurant was not crowded, so the food should have been freshly prepared. The odor still permeated the area as we left. Might go back in a couple of months for a sniff test. Finally a girl walks up and asks if I'm picking up. I said "No. Dining in. Can I sit here?" And motioned to the booth. She said "Yeah" and walked away. I thought she's bring me a menu. Nice place to watch a game. Plenty of TV's, big bar. The wings are ok with several options for sauces. Unfortunately, I fell for the special trap and ordered the surf and turf. Sirloin steak and fried shrimp. I ordered the steak medium, and it came out well well done. The shrimp were tiny little salad shrimp. I am not sure they were really breaded or just thrown into the deep fryer. The baked potato was hard as a rock. Very undercooked. This is a very nice place to eat. Everyone inside was friendly and our waitress was very friendly! For appetizer I started off with mozzarella sticks and they where amazing!! First time in a while I had mozzarella sticks that were actually really cheesy as they tasted perfect. For dinner I had the Trio fajitas. That had steak, chicken and shrimp. The chicken and shrimp was great but the steak I would have preferred sliced steak instead of flat steak that looks like it could be placed on A Philly cheesesteak sandwich. I think if they would've done sliced steak it would definitely had better and that would've top this off to make it a 5 star. Besides that the meal wasn't bad at all and tasted very good. This time I tried the Apollo Beach location ... only because I wanted to watch a certain college game. As expected, service is slow ... food order incomplete ... but the annoying part was they wouldn't put on the game I wanted to watch - even though no one was watching the two screens in front of me (with one channel not even being a sports game on a Saturday afternoon). She took it back into the kitchen only for it to be about two degrees warmer than when it was brought out the first time. If was certainly NOT 150 deg. F when it came out because even the shredded Parm. Cheese on top was still cold that was sprinkled on top. Our food took a long time to come out and we asked for our child's to come out as soon as possible. All the food came at the same time with overcooked fries and undercooked chicken wings. It has many televisions and great music for entertainment. The staff is friendly and attentive. Alicia, Jade, Cat, and Cindy have all waited on us and have provided wonderful service. The manager takes time to talk to the customers. The food is delicious! My husband loves the wings that look big and juicy. I am a vegetarian and there are many options to choose from the menu. So I'm visiting Florida and was told how great the wings were at this restaurant but unfortunately was unable to try them as we called to order for pick up at 9:20pm and were told that I could not put an order in because the kitchen had closed (rather abruptly I might add). When I asked about the closing time being 10pm I was told by a woman that '10pm was the time everyone in the restaurant would be walking out'. I've worked at a restaurant for 10 years, and have frequented many restaurants, both casual and formal, and if the closing time is 10pm the kitchen stays open until 10 OR the time the kitchen closes would be posted as well. read more
