Delish, delish and moist and flavorful. I mean what else can I say, the chicken was really good. Brianna our waitress is always so pleasant, I love when we get her. The manager was very cheerful and friendly, checked on us a few times; really appreciated that. Place was cozy and clean. If you stop in give the new chicken sandwich a try. read more

It's been a long while since I've been to a Bob Evans, and this visit was better than anticipated as far as the food, service and cleanliness went. However: This was seriously expensive for two people getting senior breakfasts. 2 orders of 2 eggs with sausage & toast, 2 coffees and an orange juice was $30 before the tip. The food and service were good, the price was YIKES! read more

From our walking in the front door...the person who greeted us and took us to our table went on and on about essentially how much she hated her job and wished she could retire. There were tons of "open" tables but none of them were bussed. Once seated we found out they are a pepsi ...not a coke establishment. ( already strike 3 .) They offered a gomod, diverse menu. I ordered the soup ( none of the 3 were homemade) this is Bob Evans right but it wasn't too bad. Tthe fish sandwich went back twice and my friend could not eat either one...so she passed altogether on her lunch. I felt bad for our server...she tried so hard to accomodate us. Between the kitchen and floor staff, they xere care a elt 0 on, ...They were clearly under staffed...UGH, the tables by the way "never" got bussed. The empty dirty tables continued to grow. Lets leave it at it was a terrible first visit. Such a disapointment. read more

A decent but expensive place for breakfast. Don't bother with hamburgers, or other lunch or dinner meals. We went this past Saturday night and I should have went anyplace else. We had poor quality small hamburgers with fries, water to drink and paid close to $40 for my wife and me. To add an insult they charged to have lettuce and tomato assed to the burgers. That will be the last time for this pathetic joint. Unhappy in Sun City Center read more

Bob Evans Restaurants certainly needs no introduction for they seem to be the "go to" place for travelers seeking breakfast, lunch or dinner. Many glowing reviews have been written about their service, food and affordable pricing. One Bob Evans in particular seems to have achieved notoriety from the community's surrounding their location. The Bob Evans located at 102 Commercial Center Drive in Sun City Center, FL, are host to some 95 veterans from every branch of the service every Thursday at 7:00 am. Thanks to the courtesy of General Manager Eric Cavasar, this restaurant hosts the informal meeting of veterans including 5 WWII vet's and ranks from admiral down. The main topic at each meeting over breakfast is camaraderie and lasts slightly over an hour. It is open to all veterans. The gathering's have drawn guests from as far as Tampa and the group know as "Bob's Vets". The group is spearheaded by Stephen Browning and at times he arranges featured guest speakers with information for veterans during the brief sessions. These informative sessions have included representatives from the VA and Congressman Vern Buchanan's office to mention a few. All veterans are invited. read more

I would not recommend this place. I ordered a breakfast with pancakes , but by the time I finished eating, the pancakes never arrived. I asked to speak with the manager, who told me he was sorry but that nothing could be done because they were "too busy," and that he would discount the pancakes. However, when I went to pay, I received a receipt for $75 with no breakdown of what I was being charged for. After doing the math, I realized I was still charged for the pancakes. The manager, John, was very rude and unprofessional, and the waitress never returned to address the missing item or apologize. Overall, the service was extremely disappointing, and I would advise staying away. if can do 0 starts I would read more

Food was awful, generic and seemed to be thrown in the box for delivery. The chicken tasted like it was fried in old grease. The potatoes were stiff and cold. The salad was wilted like it had been sitting out all day. Lastly I order the dinner for two, which came with soup and I never received the soup. I would never order nor recommend the food to anyone from this establishment. read more

Popular spot for locals and travelers just off of I 75. Bob Evan's is a good choice for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Unfortunately for us we had a bad experience. We ordered Oatmeal for breakfast and even though they were super busy we had a longer than reasonable time for our meal to arrive, when it arrived it was cold, very cold. We decided to leave. Thoughts, consumers have expectations that should always be foremost. I think that quality control extends from the kitchen to the consumer. In our case it seems the meals sat for a long time before being served. Who is to blame?? Not for me to guess. read more

I seldom rate chain restaurants because they are usually the same everywhere. We had such a good experience here that I had to write a review. We were quickly seated and our server Caleb arrived and was one of the best servers and marketers I think I have ever seen. He was respectful and helpful, and did a great job telling us about sides that were up charges and taking dessert to take home. We used to own a business, so we appreciate employees that try to make their employer more money. Caleb was wonderful our entire visit and the manager should be made aware. I had the fried chicken, mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese. The chicken was tasty as were the mashed potatoes. The Mac and cheese was just ok. read more

We ate here all the time, up until 3 weeks ago, it was great. But now food is never cooked as requested, the last ³ times we visited. Waitresses need training in being courteous, professional and effecient. Restaurant was not busy at all and it took over 35 minutes to be served. Management has went downhill . read more

We decided to give Bob Evans another chance for dinner last night after several bad experiences. Unfortunately, still a bad experience. Long wait to be seated even though enough vacant tables for everyone waiting. Then a long time until we were finally able to place our order. From time entering and placing order, it was an hour. A lot of issue was with our waitress, as other seated patrons received timely service from a different waitress. But the very worst was the food itself. I ordered a lighted breaded chicken breast that was one of the worst things I've EVER been served in a restaurant. It had an awful rubbery texture and nothing like a chicken breast in any way. Husband said turkey and dressing okay but nothing he would order sgain. Daughter liked her BLT and salad though. Although our breakfasts have generally been acceptable, service is always slow. The banana bread is good, and the atmosphere itself pleasant but not reasons to choose this place over other choices. read more

VERY DISAPPOINTED IN OUR FOOD!!! First of all, our server Kiana was amazing and on top of everything. Ordered a bowl of potato soup and that was great. We ordered two breakfasts. Specifically asked for soft bacon. The bacon was disgraceful and had been sitting. Rock hard!!! My fiancee had ordered a side of bacon as well. My biscuits were covered in salt and the entire meal (both plates) were cold. Potatoes, eggs, bacon, gravy, etc. When the bacon originally went back his plate came back minus the bacon. Food was still cold! No one even thought about recooking the entire meal. This was 4 pm and there were less than 10 tables occupied. Two things. 1. Don't blame your employees for your screw up! 2. The manager was not too busy to come out and have a conversation, but obviously declined to do so. Very bad look for this place!!! No apology from management. No offer to recook our meals. Just a wonderful young lady who was apologetic and a little shaken that she was being blamed. She didn't cook it, so clearly not her fault. Don't know if the cook realizes that he is catering to an older community whom mostly have sodium restrictions. Pull it together at Bob Evans folks! To the man in the royal blue shirt with the moustache... SHAME ON YOU FOR NOT ADDRESSING OUR ISSUE!!! YOU HID IN THE KITCHEN, but not out of sight. I will be reaching out to corporate about today. If we don't get a response, we will never step foot in this Bob Evans again! This used to be one of our go-to places... Now it's a huge disappointment! Left hungry and disgusted with the kitchen and the manager. Managers are there to keep it all together and he failed miserably. read more

I'm new to the neighborhood and this was my first time at this Bob Evans. I will say that the staff was extremely nice and efficient. The food came came out just as it was ordered and everything was perfect from crispy hashbrowns to soft scrambled eggs to amazing biscuits great taste, and gravy, blueberry pancakes, and so on. I would give this restaurant five stars however when we got there, I noticed that one of the ladies in the back was stacking the trays of raw biscuits to bring out and put in the oven and you should never have the bottom of one metal tray sitting on top of another tray of raw biscuits I did bring this up to the managers attention. He was disappointed that that had happened and said, that he would speak with this particular person however, at the same time, he did not remove those two trays of biscuits from the oven. read more

A welcome relief It was hot, I had been doing some outdoor stuff, and my car's a/c is broken. As I headed home to Sarasota I was looking around for some familiar place that wasn't fast food where I could stop for a cool drink and food, and get out of the heat. I spotted Bob Evans. I was greeted, shown to a table, and given a menu. My server came right over and I quickly requested water and a soft drink. She got me those, and for the rest of my visit she took very good care of me, checking with me often to bring me more to drink. The food part also went well, taking only about 8 minutes. When I think of Bob Evans I think of their slow roasted Pot Roast. Where else can you find tender, delicious pot roast? And when I saw they had a new Double Cheese Pot Roast Dip sandwich, I ordered it. Man, what a good sandwich. I know I was hungry and pretty wiped out from the heat, but that sandwich was so, so good. Delicious pot roast, so much cheese, brown gravy for dipping? Wow, so good. The sourdough bread was an excellent choice, I should mention the bottom slice was pretty soggy which made it a messier sandwich. The gravy also worked well for dipping my fries. Bob Evans restored me back to human, and I left full and very happy I stopped by. read more

Awful experience here. Opted for one of their specials, the banana caramel nut pancakes with eggs, bacon and potatoes. I asked for the potatoes and bacon to be crispy. Not only were neither crispy, but the potatoes had barely been cooked and almost tasted raw. This was followed up by finding not 1 but TWO hairs in my pancakes. The eggs tasted funky as well, watery and flavorless. The management took care of the meal, but my rating is based on the quality of the food. It has gone down hill substantially. read more

I have been to this Bob Evans several times. Usually it is pretty good. On this visit, 8/30/23 for dinner, something dramatic has changed. The hostess was not friendly, there was one server in the entire restaurant, and the cook was horrible. The server was very nice, soft spoken and doing her best. The cook was probably cooking for the first time without any training or supervision. Everything was bad. Not at all like a typical meal from Amy Bob Evans. Checking out at a register was ridiculous. No one was available to cash guest out. Sorting rolls, taking phone orders, processing online orders, taking to go orders, all had priority over guest standing in line to pay. I am guessing there is a new manager and things have went south fast. read more

Ate at this location on a weekday and was disappointed with the quality of food and amount provided. We had a side of bacon which was way over cooked. It might as well have been pork rinds. I decided to give it a try as I do not care to waist food, but it pretty much fell apart as I took a bite. The amount of hash browns provided with our meal was meager. You would think that they were rationing. As for the service, our waiter waiter took some time to get to us and our food took a little longer than normal. The restaurant wasn't very busy at the time. We will not be returning to this location. read more

I went to Bob Evans just to order a coffee and a slice of pie at the Sun City, FL location and it was terrible. The server took my order came back after 10 minutes, without the coffee and water that I ordered and said they had to make another pie and then proceeded to hand me the bill. I sat there for an additional 15 minutes and no part my order was brought to me, not even the water. I was there for nearly half an hour, and the only thing they put on my table was my bill. Terrible service. read more

First time trying this restaurant chain. It was nice. I had a lemon pepper fish with mashed potatoes and green beans. My fish was cooked well and it had good flavors. A good portion size. The mashed potatoes were really good. I liked them. They tasted like real potatoes. The green beans were good too. They had onion and a little ham. My favorite thing was the dinner rolls. There were warm, soft and sweet. They came out right out of the oven. I really liked them. I liked the food for the price I paid. My low rating was for the service. We came in and they say as down. They took our drink order and less than a minute later asked if we were ready to order. I asked him to give as some times. A minute later again he asked if we were ready to order again. This happened a third time again. The restaurant was not busy at all. We ordered and finished our meal. We then got the check and put our cards next to it. The waiter came around a few times clearing the table and taking orders next to us. We waited about 10 minutes for him to pick up the check. We walked to the front and asked if we pay here. The lady said yes and took our payments.it would have been nice if we had some directions. I saw something I liked and asked the price. She said she didn't know. The place did not leave a good impression on me. read more

Stopped by for lunch on way to vacation. Food was very good for the price. Our group started with the Cinna-Biscuits. Great, warm, tasty, sweet appetizer (or dessert) which consisted of 8 triangular pieces of fried dough/donut, sprinkled with a generous portion of cinnamon and sugar, served with a sweet cream glaze for dipping (and, it gets better - Price is only $2.00!) For my meat, I opted for a "half sandwich combo for $6.99. I had an oversized cup of vegetable beef soup (with lots of veggies) and a half of a pot roast sandwich. Very tender beef that sort of melts in your mouth. Good choice for a quick, hearty lunch. Highly recommend! read more
