Came here on a Monday on a day when a half rack of St Louis ribs was the special. Very moderately priced which was under $18 Couple that with a side of broccoli and some rice and I was happy . Spouse had StLouis ribs as well ,although I think she had baked potato. This place is actually underrated the food is that good. Service was decent. I wouldn't say top shelf but they were busy which was the problem and we chose to sit outside because it was probably late afternoon and it was shaded in such a way we weren't gonna be in direct sunlight but there was a nice breeze which contributed to the great atmosphere. Throw back a couple of chilly ones to accommodate our food and everybody was happy. My nephew lives local out here and I don't recall what he had , but he was happy and so was his GF. So I must update my review of BubbaQue's. Hubby and I went back to give another try. This time I must admit everything was really good. The ribs, chicken, okra (which I love) were delicious. Meat was tender and had good flavor. Service was great and ambiance was very nice. Looking forward to another great meal. read more

Very disappointed in BubbaQue's today. Went with two friends. Two of us ordered the chicken fingers. They were the smallest pieces of chicken I have ever had at any restaurant. Coleslaw was delicious and the chicken tasted good but left both of us still hungry. The four pieces didn't even equal the size of one chicken breast. Won't be ordering them again and not sure I will go back there. read more

I actually ordered food to go and the waitress who helped me in the drive-through Inayah was fantastic. I had never been here before. I just saw the restaurant as I was driving home from playing around the golf and wanted some food. She was very helpful and went over the menu with me which was very extensive as I had no idea what offerings were available to me. I ordered the ribs with a side of greens and baked beans as well as an order of shrimp with a second side of greens. The shrimp was OK, the ribs were OK. I don't eat a lot of pork or red meat so when I do, I'm very selective about it and I am pretty good at doing barbecue ribs myself being from New Orleans. The sides however we're very good. The greens were good and the baked beans were fantastic. Like I said, I was not a huge fan of the ribs. I felt they could've have been more tender however, my experience was good enough, especially with my waitress that I will definitely give them another go and try some of the other main entrées next time such as possibly the pulled pork or the chicken. read more

The "nachos" are just horrible crinkle fries with chicken and cheese thrown on top and so little cheese why bother? But the two pulled pork sandwiches for $10 and happy hour beer more than made up for that crime on food. Just get the specials and it's a good deal and tasty. read more

I travel all over the United States I'm from Omaha so I know what good beef is supposed to taste like I travel through Kansas City so I know what good barbecue supposed to taste like I travel through St Louis so I know it's St Louis barbecue should taste like I go through Mississippi Alabama Arkansas and Texas so I eat barbecue all over the place and I will tell you this is not the best but it's damn good and just knows even their hottest barbecue sauce is actually not that hot... I have recommended they get something hotter but if you mix there rump roaster and their Mississippi Mud it's a sweet with a Cayenne kicker The service was freaking amazing the server was always there when we needed her and she wasn't around when we didn't the manager actually waited until I finished chewing before he asked how the food was that doesn't happen a lot of places They use a lot of hardwood here so it looks like what a lot of barbecue places look like so that seems to be pretty standard but they got lots of TVs and stuff going on if you get bored We had the brisket and the meaty back ribs both excellent their french fries taste good their mac and cheese taste good I can recommend the jalapeno poppers but if you don't get their barbecue baked beans there's something wrong with you To in the mail we got the deep fried Oreo cookies I'm not sure there's a bad way to do those but these are pretty damn good and they get a little side of chocolate sauce and a chocolate sauce is really good read more

I wanna say first I had the smoked wings previously and they were good. So wanted to try the ribs. It was a Thursday for early lunch. I ordered the rib and fries. I believe Megan was my server. Great server, knew I was gonna have my tea in a to go cup before I asked. Unfortunately the ribs came out and they were (what seems to me, left over from the night before) Terrible two bones in I was done, dry and burnt. I'm not one to complain but Megan suspected something was wrong. I was just gonna pay and never return again. She asked so I told her honestly they were dry and didn't taste good. The manager came took one look and said they weren't ones he would have served . I told him I didn't want a discount and just wanted to pay and leave. He insisted to get some to go . I really wasn't going to eat them. Fool me once etc. I did reach in at the job site and tried it. The ones he gave me were a true representation of ribs. Bark was good nice smoke ring and they weren't dry. I wouldn't have thought they came from the same place. The manager on duty saved a customer and I will go there again a few times before the project ends. Service was 5star. I'm from Kansas City so we take our bbq pretty serious. This was my first time at this restaurant! It was appropriately decorated for a barbecue joint and the service was excellent from the hostess stand to the food server. The food came out cooked perfectly! The brisket was very lean and made for a delicious sandwich! My husband's baked potato was very large and loaded with delicious toppings. The Brisket Basket was good...not great. The Rib Basket was terrible. Two types of ribs. One with sauce the other not. Both were dried out like they were from yesterday PLUS they had way too much salt. Almost like someone dropped the container. My son at the Brisket and I tossed the Ribs. I ordered this for pickup but they couldn't find my order. Finally found it when hey asked for my FIRST name. The dinners were lukewarm when we got them home. I came here with my dad when they were rebuilding. They were not yet working with their full menu so I wasn't able to sample all the things I usually would have. What I really liked about the place was how they were fighting hard to stay open as they rebuilt and found a method that worked for them. We had to sit outside under a tent which was to be expected and rather inconsequential. The ribs were perfect as was the sausage. Wasn't a total fan of the Mac and cheese and the beer menu was probably limited due to the circumstances. I'll definitely go back now that they are open again. read more

Nice local spot we stopped in while visiting Tampa for the weekend. Great tasting BBQ. Great prices and good amount of food for the price .... Friendly staff and fast service! Nice variety of bbq sauces to taste with and try out .... St Louis ribs are the best amongst everything they offer in my opinion... very tasty and very tender. The brisket was not the best as it was a little on the dry side... they asked if we wanted more moist or dry and of course I said moist but it was kinda dry so can't imagine someone wanting dry and how it would have been if it was their preference assuming it would be. The wings maybe would be good if you get them plain and sauce them yourself as if it's sauced, it's over drenched in sauce so bet to get plain and sauce them your self at the table.
