Stopped in for a quick meal. This is a new location of this chain. You order at the counter, have a seat and they call your name. We both had pulled pork, fries, cole slaw, beans and complementary cornbread. Pork was tender, juicey and delicious. Fries were crisp and cornbread was moist. They serve all the popular bbq items such as ribs, brisket, chicken etc. There are plenty of sides to choose from, such as Cole slaw, beans, mac n cheese, potato salad, etc. On each table there are six bbq sauces to try on your food. Soft drinks are self serve. They also offer dessert items The restaurant has plenty of seats. The staff is very helpful and friendly.

Wanted some bbq and decided to try Mission BBQ. It was ok for a chain restaurant. Ingredients were fresh and I like their variety in sauces. The bbq meats had little flavor but were tender. I liked the baked beans and fact that it had big chunks of meat in it. Overall, it was good bbq if you like their sauces. Worth a try.

MISSION BBQ Three World War II veterans who attend a weekly breakfast with me and some 85 other veterans at Bob Evans in Ruskin, FL. were surprised to learn that I had never been to Mission BBQ in Riverview, FL. They suggested I go for lunch there since the restaurant known for its culinary barbecue selection was offering a free lunch to veterans on Memorial Day. While the restaurant is open to everyone the first surprise as I entered was the collection of military memorabilia that covered every wall in the restaurant. Pictures of veterans from every conflict we fought, are on display. I was greeted by Karen, a friend who is a frequent visitor to our weekly breakfast at Bob Evans. She is a true community ambassador for Mission BBQ. Her customer service skills have endeared her to all who know her. Her cordial smile and welcoming ways to all who enter, keeps customers returning on a regular basis. The difficult part of a visit here is selecting a choice of the best barbecued items on the menu. The culinary selection offered will please the most discriminating palate. Hospitality seems to be the key virtue of all employed at this chain of restaurants. The servers, cooks and Miaimla the hostess that brought my food all strive to make your visit memorable. I chose the brisket sandwich and as I joined the World War II vets for lunch. and They advised me that at noon every day, all customers stand and sing, God Bless America. True to form as the music began all customers stood and joined in singing. This customer and military friendly location has joined my list of go to places when friends come to visit.

Great location. Food was tasty. Entire visit was outstanding. Happened to be here at lunch and enjoyed the national anthem. This place really does make a difference. Enjoyed the entire lunch experience.

The people here were very friendly and inviting. The decor was what you'd expect from a Mission BBQ, if you've been to one before. Lots of veteran and service people memorabilia. Cool environment. This was my second time coming to a Mission BBQ. After the first time, years ago, I was unimpressed with the meats and never returned. This time around, I was pleasantly surprised. The pulled pork was very nice. The brisket was good, even if a bit dry. The sausages were my least favorite. Flavor wise they were good, but the casing was VERY tough to chew. Sides were great: baked beans, Cole slaw, and corn bread were all delicious. Half the fun of eating here is the sauces. You've got six different flavors at each table, with some vinegar, and some additional options by the soda fountain area. Want some decent franchise BBQ? This is a solid, family-friendly spot right in Riverview.

This was my second time visiting this particular Mission BBQ. It's a pretty new restaurant that opened recently on US Highway 301 in Riverview, right off Big Bend Road. The two times I was there I tried the Pulled Pork Sandwich. The sandwich was absolutely delicious and the meat was piled high! I would say it's an extremely generous portion. It was made exactly the same both times I've ordered it. There are many different sauces available for you to put on your BBQ. The sides are all delicious as well. So far I have tried their Cole Slaw, Corn Bread, Beans, and French Fries. All were delicious! The staff at this location are all super lovely which makes eating here that much more enjoyable!! You order at the counter and they call your name when the food is ready. The restaurant offers booths and tables to sit and has outdoor seating as well. The dining room is lovely and clean. The walls are decorated with Military Memorabilia. My husband and I will definitely be back to try their ribs. I have no doubt they will be delicious too. If you like BBQ I definitely recommend you give them a try.

First time customer and I can't believe I have never noticed this restaurant before. We stopped for lunch on a Friday and found the employees all inviting as we entered. The menu has lots of protein choices, which are up on the wall. Because it was our first time, the young woman taking orders took the time to explain everything on the menu. Great employee! I settled on a pulled pork sandwich with a side of Mac and cheese and a soda. Once you place your order, you take a seat and they call your name. As we were waiting, we noticed all the decor which is geared toward military, police, firefighters, etc. Very nice tributes. At noon they announced they would be playing the National Anthem and everyone got up and faced the flag while the song played. Very touching in today's crazy world. Our food order was called and my sandwich was piled mile high with pork. On the table were 6 different kinds of bbq sauce (the proteins are cooked with a rub). It was great to try different kinds. The pork was tender and tasty. The Mac and cheese was fantastic! My only complaint would be the bun, which crumbled apart. The employees here might be the best I have ever encountered. Everyone was friendly and helpful. One employee walked around the dining room offering refills, a sample of fries, taking empty plates, etc. She was remarkable. I may have found my new favorite bbq place!!!

This was a heartwarming pre-grand-opening event for "Law Enforcement Officers Friends and Family Night!" A BBQ bash and fundraiser to honor those that Protect, Serve and Save. All sales donated to the Lynn Sowers Foundation. A very special presentation with the unveiling of a tribute to Bobby Howard. We ordered moist BBQ brisket, sausage and sampled pulled chicken and also brownies, all of which we enjoyed very much. This place has a hometown feel and is a welcome edition to the Riverview area. This will be a place that I regularly visit for great food and friendly conversation. Highly Recommended!

I thoroughly enjoy going over to Mission BBQ since they are so friendly and generous to the military community! My favorite at this point in time is the Brisket (moist) sandwich and their french fries! You have to have the Baja bold spicy BBQ sauce. The facility is always clean and the staff as you're sitting down is always helpful to get something for you or just chit chat. It's always clean and there's smiles inside the building either a customers or the employees.

Great service attitude people at this new location. Manager Kathy checked in on customers. Combo meal gets a little pricey but beef brisket (what I always get) is always between very good and great. Cornbread and dessert are good. They have smashed potatoes as a side - a good addition. Coleslaw is OK. Sadly the Pepsi fountains are overly watered down. The sauces and the soldiering vibe are consistent.

To Whom It May Concern,…read more This visit wasn't planned. It was just a random lunch stop--or so I thought. Little did I know I was about to experience a life-altering event disguised as a Greek salad. From the very first bite of the impossibly juicy, perfectly seasoned lamb, time seemed to slow down. Every ingredient was fresh, every flavor perfectly balanced, and somehow the worries of the world melted away with each forkful. I didn't just eat lunch--I achieved inner peace. The Greek salad wasn't simply the best I've ever had. It redefined what I believed a Greek salad could be. If happiness had a flavor, this would be it. I firmly believe Little Greek Fresh Grill on Big Bend Road deserves no fewer than three Michelin stars, should be declared the ninth wonder of the world, and ought to be added to every traveler's bucket list. Historians may debate the greatest achievements of mankind, but after this meal, I think they've overlooked one. If you're considering eating here, stop thinking and start driving. Your taste buds will thank you, your soul will thank you, and you'll spend the rest of your life wondering why you didn't discover it sooner. Sincerely, A customer whose standards have now been permanently--and deliciously--ruined.

The menu has appetizers, sushi rolls, rice bowls, and ramen. There were lunch specials which are what we ordered. The chicken hibachi bowl is only $12 which I thought was a very fair price for the amount of food. The quality of the food is excellent. The punk rock roll was so good and it was different (with chopped strawberry, avocado, jalapeño, cucumber salad). The fish did not taste fresh and roll lacked structure to the point it was falling apart. The only thing that we thought was good was the headbanger shrimp but everything else so severely lacking.
