I order a salad as was a little weary but I was kinda disappointed about the bug ! I know protein is a good thing! I have worked in the restaurant industry for over 30 years and have never seen worse customer service in my life. We were told to sit wherever we wanted , so we chose a table directly in front of the bar. There were 2 servers working the floor and both walked past us several times. Nobody so much as acknowledged us, let alone take a beverage order. We waited 12 minutes and neither server so much as said hello. Well here we go.....the barmaid is a bit stand off-ish......she appears to be upset about something....ok now for the food Tonight is Burger night .....special.....$5.99 and we had 6 chicken wings. Wings we're good ....dusted with lemon pepper dry rub....Bleu cheese and sweet hot dip. Burger was good... medium....with gouda cheese and grilled onions.... Well worth the special price. Barmaid came around and was more pleasant. Had to ask for eating utensils, napkins and plates. Manager get on you toes....train your staff.... Or Mr/Mrs. O'Brady's will replace to you. Not really a fan the food took a long time to come out and it was not even busy. I had the Philly cheese steak, do not order this if you are looking for a good sandwich. My friend had the French dip it was cold as well as the fries. Three times they screwed up making an Arnold Palmer, how hard is it to put ice tea and lemonade in a glass? I always liked to take my wife to this Beef O's for dinner and drinks and to watch sporting events until recently. The last several times that we've been, there has been one loud and vulgar drunk at the bar shouting f-bombs about the games, the food, the drinks and the other patrons. I stopped in the Apollo Beach Beef's for lunch today for the first time in years. I had their reuben sandwich and quite enjoyed it. The side of slaw came in a small plastic cup, which was sort of tacky, but the slaw itself was very good, not sweet or vinagery. They were not very busy, but the service was prompt and attentive. It's supposed to be a "sports bar" and that's what it looks to me. Sports related posters, pennants and such on the walls along with TVs every way you look. Someone complained about the "ambiance" of this Beef's, but it's about what I expected. It isn't gourmet cuisine, but I give 'em four stars for a good sandwich, good service, and cold beer. read more

There is not much near Apollo Beach to eat. I got the lemon pepper wings , while my friends got the cheeseburger and fries. The wings were GOOD. Monday is apparently Burger day and my friend got her burger for $3. The reason I only gave 4 stars was because of the cleanliness. it needed some work. Went in for lunch. Order--from visibly held lunch menu was grilled chx salad & chicken tenders. It took over 30 min and only after asking to get our food. No apology prior, explanation, accountability etc prior. Food arrives. Inside of chicken--room temp at best, fries soggy. Did it sit and they dumped fries to dbl fry them? Was the order placed late and they fried on the fly but not enough? Who knows. It was bad. Service--our server looked disorganized. Tickets were shoved into pockets-this was done in our view-when it came time to find a ticket the server was digging thru pockets to find. Gotta be organized or you mess up. I had a project at the Teco Plant years ago and this location was one of my favorite after-work stops. Really a fan of just about any Beefs location, a staple in Florida. We had one close by here in St Charles, IL that didn't last long, it was a shame, it was a taste of home for me. read more

The service was worse than the food. My family went to this place and was served by angela. She took our order but her gross lack of customer service skills ensured that we did not get drinks. While it was not crowded she took a very long time to take our order. Then she brought the wrong order three times-I had the six shrimp with six fries to accompany. She refused to check on my wifes order but we checked with the manager who was not on station but at a party table with friends. It was discovered that the order was never sent to the kitchen due to the gross incompetence of angela and the manager who refused to supervise and ensure that only qualified personnel were authorized to wait on tables, This is gross unethical conduct and complete unprofessionalism. The manger refused to intercede on behalf of her customers. The staff has no customer service skills and refuse to represent to chain in a professional manner. I did try to put this on their page but was refused and snail mail was a joke to beefs as well. Needless to say that everyone that I know is aware of this circumstance. Was our "go to" restaurant because we loved the burgers and it felt like home. Have to say that under the new management, the place looks great but the quality of the food has suffered greatly. Even the wait staff, who tries hard to overcome the significant problems in the kitchen, is frustrated. We now get our BoB "fix" over at Big Bend or SCC. The food and the server was great but when I was leaving with my family outside the entrance door sat 2 men with a bottle of alcohol and a dog that we had to walk around. This used to be one of my go to places for wings and a beer. Under new management and it's now OFF my list. I can't say the food went bad but the servers are all on different frequencies. What a joke. Just moved to the area and tried to find a decent place to eat. Thought this was safe.....boy was I wrong. Atmosphere sucked, food was bad and my wife had to have her Buffalo Chicken wrap sent back because it had no Buffalo. WTF. When I heard the table behind us send their food back, that was a sure sign of a half assed cook and a manager who has poor standards for his Establishment and Staff. This place is in a perfect location to be a goldmine, but the service is less than average. I called in a Togo order, and the girl that was working the Togo area found my order (after aimlessly searching on the computer for it for several minutes) then ran my credit card. After I tipped her, she then proceeded to tell me that they were out of one of the items I ordered. Seriously? If you weren't serving that item that night, it would have been nice to tell me when I called in my order, but to then wait until I get there, run my card, and then drop the news is just annoying. I purposely called in the order almost an hour before I arrived so that I could just run in and pick it up, but then I had to wait for her to take the charge off my card and pick out something else to replace the food item they were out of. There's a lot i could say about the food, but really 2 words sum it up best. FOOD POISONING!!! Yup, that's right, Beefs damn near killed me a few weeks ago. The food is not very good there, and I already knew that, but it's close to my house and we always order carry out. Well, the chicken tender wrap almost put me in the hospital. I have heard stories about them serving old and out of date food, which is why the chicken nuggets finally got removed from the menu. I was told by a cook there that it took months to sell the entire bag they came in, and by the time some poor sap was the unlucky person to order from the bottom of the bag, they were getting freezer burned nuggets that were months old. I will never eat there again. If I have a death with, it wouldn't be by way of food poisoning!!!!! read more
