I cannot in good conscious reccomend this location until repairs are made. The kitchen has 0 ventilation. The whole restaurant is smokey, making me cough, choke and my eyes water. Its 90 degrees outside so moving outside is not fun. I try to never come here anymore. My finacee and I like the people. We had a mixer with about 25 people. There was more than enough space so everyone was to actually mingle. The food was really good especially the wings. I played a few games of corn-hole which was a fun addition to the event. My husband & I will return to try more of the menu. read more

The drinks here are really good and the bar tender(s) are nice. I usually come here for a drink and to eat their chicken tender and fries appetizer (recommended for picky eaters). The chicken tenders are hand breaded and the honey mustard compliments them perfectly. One day I decided to try their Brussels and I regretted it instantly once they came out. We entered on a Friday night. Sat at bar. Place wasn't too busy. Bartender came to us, but acted like we were bothering her. We ordered a drink and checked the place out. Not very many people in there. DJ was setting up on a small stage. A couple of women sat beside us and the two bartenders began doing shots with them and another patron. We tabbed out, but in the short time we were there. We each had one drink a piece. The bartenders did 2 shots within 10 minutes. First shot with two female patrons then second shot with two male patrons. The blonde with rotted teeth said to the other blonde, I can't keep mixing. That's a big no-no and a turn off for us (drinking while on the job). Plus the DJ turned on his equipment and music out of the blue. It was blaring. For the 6 people that were there. It was way too loud. So with the loud music and the bartenders drinking shots, no telling how many they had before we got there and after we left! We decided to leave. I went here on Sunday, 4/1 l2 as a solo traveler and ordered the fish and chips. I don't know if it was because I was by myself, but the waitress made me wait nearly 30 minutes before taking my order, and when she did, she did not tell me the specials. I noticed that she was much more friendly to a couple that walked in after my order was taken, and she took the time to tell them the specials, which I would have been interested in. When my food came, I took a picture of it to text to a friend because it was awful looking. Very thin, over fried pieces of fish. About 3 hours after leaving I became violently ill. I had food poisoning. It was so bad I was sick for the next 48 hours, and had to call in very sick from work the following day. I nearly went to the hospital, but decided to ride it out. We picked a table outside as it was nice weather, not too busy when I came in but definitely got a lot busier throughout the night. We ordered a house beer, chicken nachos, buffalo chicken wrap, and a grilled chicken sandwich. The house beer was pretty good, I would recommend it. The nachos were decent, could have definitely used more toppings as the topping to chips ratio was off. The buffalo wrap was pretty good, no complaints there. The chicken sandwich was just ok, it could use some sauce on it as it's super dry to eat. My complaint is the service. You would assume since it's a Friday night they would be prepared for it to be busy, but no. Our server was nice, however was not very attentive. He took our order instantly and the food came pretty quickly, however, it was all downhill after that. We finished our food and waited almost 40 minutes to get our check. I had to get up and find him to ask for our check, I felt bad since he seemed like he was bartending as well as serving. More employees than there are tables seated and I still can't get anyone to greet me, bring me water, silverware or get another drink. There are maybe 2 staff there who are nice. The girl with long brown curly hair and the guy who waited me the other night he said he's only been working there for maybe 4 days. Everyone else is very rude. As for clarity on the menu, her response, people always ask me and I really need to find out. That is a horrible response. Then we order something, they are out. We are the second table there, and we are out. Ask about the shrimp, I think we are out. They were out of chicken wings. Half the menu was not available. Seriously, this was a joke of a meal. I really want to like local places, and support them. Other than a good hamburger, not amazing but good, there was nothing about this place that wasn't bad. I recommended this place based on the few Yelp reviews to my coworkers for us to have dinner after our meeting. I know the place is new so I expected there to be some kinks to workout but it looked like they had a decent menu and solid drinks. Everyone was happy with the drinks, I had the Blueberry wheat beer- super tasty. My friend had the smoked old fashioned and it had a cool table presentation. We started with apps- the bang bang shrimp was pretty good, the pretzel was soft. The Brussels sprouts were cooked tender but dry- like they need some sort of sauce/glaze. I had the riverview salad with chicken. Chicken was tender, the pesto vinaigrette was chunky and inedible, luckily I didn't put much on and was able to ask for balsamic. As they bring out the food, they inform us they ran out of buns so someone at the table would have to change their meal. Mind you half the group was served when we were made aware. The waiter said they would make it right by getting some wings. When we get the bill, we get charged for the burger they were unable to provide and the wings that were supposed to be courtesy due to their failure. The waiter got an attitude when my boss was asking about this. I can deal with hiccups but the lack of ownership for the issues and the attitude were a no for me. A nice little get away in Riverview especially if you are looking to escape the big spunky bars in central Tampa. The drinks are a bit water down.
