This has been a place we've wanted to check out for quite some time. I really don't know why it took so long? From the outside it may not look like much, but like a lot of things, looks can be deceiving. Inside the place really opens up. All seating is open with no booths. It really gives it a more casual look. The decor is quite eclectic with what appears to be custom artwork. There is seating outside as well. And it would appear that on cooler days they'd open up the 2 garage doors. We went on a Saturday night, so there was some live music. They also had a large TV with the game on. I did notice another TV inside but it wasn't on. Service was rather quick considering how busy they were. In fact, our server noticed that the person who had our area had not stopped by. Her remark was that she didn't want us to wait too long and offered to get our order. I was impressed by this. They had several beers on tap. I apologize for not having the menu. And they had some specialty cocktails. I got the cherry passionfruit mule. And my date got a guava beer. Both were very refreshing. Since the kids were with us our order was large. The girls got a grilled cheese sandwich on Texas Toast and some chicken stripe. Both orders came with fries. They do not have a kids menu but can make some reasonable changes. I ordered a non-menu item special which was a brisket sandwich on a hoagie roll with their coleslaw slaw and pickles and fries. Pretty tasty, but I think I would have liked to have a bit of BBQ sauce. The brisket had a nice smokiness to it, tender, and plenty of slices. My date had a chickpea veggie burger. Now that's something you don't find very often anywhere! It was served up with their housemade chips. I did try a bite of her burger. It was actually very good but probably not something I'd order. There were several other veggie options. The menu had several pizza choices, burgers, and salads. I had thought about getting their Philly but she got me on the brisket. Service was done just right. No hovering and just enough to let you know she was taking care of us. The place looks to be great for large crowds. I would imagine you'd be better off with calling ahead. It can be quite loud inside. Parking looks to be ample. I say drive out to it and check it out for youself.

Best thing about Voodoo was the service. Had the most pleasant and attentive server. Would come back just because of her. Beer was good and so was the food. Had the Lacto cooler sour and it was sour apple perfection. Very smooth and refreshing. We ordered a burger, wings and the pub nachos. Wings were OK but would not get again. Not a lot of heat and just average. The burger was great. Bacon was nice and crispy and a kick of blue cheese. The burger was cooked very well and this was a winner. The top of the pack was the nachos. They used the homemade chips and put pulled pork, bbq, cheese sauce and jalapeñoson top. Crunchy, cheesy and with a nice kick of BBQ. These go great with a beer and nice to share with a friend. Enjoyed Voodoo and will be back.

The inside is large and airy with art work lining the walls. The bar area is boring and a lot more employee interactions take a lace here than customer ones. It's a clean and well maintained restaurant/taproom, with the bathrooms being some of the cleanest I've seen in a while! There is a large outdoor patio as well. The music was at a good volume with a good assortment of tunes playing. The VooDoo brand beers wear ok. I particularly liked the one called Beach Gear. Did not care for one called VooDoo Love Child. Some seemed to have a metallic after taste. We asked for a cocktail menu and it listed an old fashioned with locally sourced maple syrup.. I asked the bartender because in Florida that seems a little impossible. She stated that was for Pennsylvania and they didn't even have that drink anymore. The liquor they serve is only the ones made by VooDoo. The bourbon is called a bourbon American whiskey and it's blended. It's not an enjoyable drink for me and I like bourbon. I was also confused as to why when I ask about a VIP club that I signed up for online and received a confirmation email about, I was told they no longer had one. That there was some sort of club but it came with a cost. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Overall we may or may not go back to try the food and have another beer. It just doesn't stand out like some places we go to. Probably a good place to hang out with a group.

Airy space, clean restrooms, organized kitchen, and great Lager on tap. Friendly staff! Nice selection of food. Highly Recommended.

So I'm am so late at this review but it is well needed. For one this place has a nice set up . There is plenty of room and is family friendly. I was greeted upon entering and engaged with conversation throughout my time there. Nice music was being played while there. Let's get to the food. When I tell you finger licking good, it was just that ( shout out to the chef!!!) I ordered the fried corn ribs and loaded fries. It did not disappoint. Delicious! I will have to make sure to try more items on the menu. They have vendors that come out, and live music. This would definitely be a great hang out spot for family, friends or just to get away. This place is a must visit.

Sat out on the patio, which is dog friendly. Casual vibe, had karaoke inside, but wasn't too loud. Our server was busy with the event going on inside, but made sure we had everything we needed. The pickle pizza was good, not too overpowering with the pesto base. Pretzel and wings were standard pub fare. The owner Chris made a point to stop by the table and introduce himself. The real highlight for me was the extensive list of beers on tap, they have a beer for every taste. In particular the PB&J Mixtape sour is amazing, tastes exactly like an Uncrustable, lots of beers try but this one nails it. Definitely worth a try, we will definitely be coming back!

Voodoo Brewery is new in the Valrico area. This trendy place offers up tasty beers and food in a no frills setting. My wife and I went here with some friends for dinner. A nearly 30 minute wait on a Friday night. Limited low-top tables contributed to this. Being open about a week now, you can tell the service routine is still being worked out but everyone was super friendly and welcoming. We have a two year old and they don't have their high chairs yet. The hostess who sat us said it's because they just opened a week ago. The chairs are also not the comfiest. I'm not wide but I couldn't sit all the way back due to the design of the chair. Brights lights and an open room with a high ceiling didn't give a cozy comfy feeling. It feels like sitting in a warehouse. The beer was good. My buddy and I got flights. I tried their light beer, a sour, an IPA and a brown ale. All were good with unique flavor profiles and reminded me of getting beer at a craft brewery. The sour was my favorite. The food was tasty and we liked their dedication to higher quality ingredients. I got the cheesesteak. My wife got the pickle pizza. My buddy got the poblano chicken tacos. The flavors were there. Seasoned well and at some points a little much. The house made chips were excellent but over seasoned with Cajun that lead to me not finishing them. $215 for dinner at the new brewery in town seemed a bit steep for me considering what we got. I'd go back again but $15 for a pretzel and $14 for 3 tacos with no side will have me considering other places first.

What can I say? Absolutely approve of this place. New owner, Chris, has really done a great job and his flexibility with trying new dishes on the menu is much appreciated. Atmosphere: Super clean with an open kitchen concept. The inside has beautiful artwork and there are small tables and communal tables throughout. There's also seating outside and a decent size "yard" to let the kids play. Service: A+. Everyone is kind and accommodating. We came on opening day and really appreciate the transparency of our server, Tyler, who let us know that it would be a few for food. Food: Better than you average bar food. The wings are delicious and Chris is always putting something new on the menu. Anything BBQ has amazing flavor! Drinks: Solid beer choices and they have cocktails, win win! Highly recommend, swing on by for some great conversation, a little art adoring, and some good food!

Food was great and good portions. I went at 9pm so it was pretty dead but the service was still great! We had Lyndsey and she was very nice. Such a cool atmosphere and clean with great music! I will be back.

Popped in on a Saturday evening, luckily found a spot at the bar. Ordered their beers- they were so good! They have a nice selection of food- we got the Founders pub chip nachos and three little pigs pizza, both were delicious and came out nice and hot. They had live music which is a plus. This place is spotless and the owner came around and introduced himself to everyone. We definitely will be back to try other menu items.

My husband and I have our normal go to breweries and after driving one day we found Voodoo and had to try it. I would say it's not very family friendly and they don't have high chairs (which is fine, some breweries do and some don't) I just know we won't go there again with the whole fam lol. It was also salsa night so that turned out to be cool. The kids loved all the lights and music. Other than that the beer selection is 10/10 and I had to get a flight because I couldn't choose between all the beers! Such a good selection. We will have to go back for a date night.

Food was fairly bland. If I went back I'd probably stick to appetizers. Had to ask for salt & pepper, but thankfully most foods are easily fixed with a little seasoning. Didn't order any drinks. Side note, doesn't seem very friendly for elderly people or children. Chairs are pretty uncomfortable (metal) and I heard them tell a young family that they didn't have high chairs. Would not recommend for small children or adults that would prefer comfortable seating.

    Beer flight for the win!

A bartender greeted me and gave me water. For my drink, I took the chocolate old fashioned (13 dollars). It was strong enough and chocolatly to enjoy. For my main plate, I chose the chicken wings (10 for 17 dollars), half fat rabbit sauce (quite garlicky) and other half siracha. While the wings were not breaded, they were still fried. It was definitely crispy, but still meaty and tender. The sauces were flavorful, and the siracha had the right amount of heat. The ranch dressing was homemade and so good, I ended up drinking it. There could have been more celery, but it was fresh and crispy. They only had one dessert, and unfortunately it wasn't homemade, so I passed. My bartender was friendly, but busy. She had a helper, but lots of patrons to serve. Yet, she was still very nice and helpful when needed. The vibe is social and casual. I would have thought they would have more USF students, but mostly locals who are enjoying a good atmosphere. Outdoor seating is available as well, and it looks like you can bring your pooch too. When it was time to check out and pay, I noticed they forgot to charge me for my drink. When I mentioned that, they told me not to worry about it. It was a very nice gesture from them. Parking here is easy as it is located in the Publix complex. There is also a Don Julio's and Bundt Cakes nearby for dessert too. The Fat Rabbit pub provides great casual bar food in a social atmosphere. The indoor dining is large enough to feel comfortable, and outdoor seating is also there if you want to enjoy with your dog. Everyone was friendly and the process was simple and quick. We headed home to dig in. This meal was definitely on the OK side. We ordered boneless wings, mini corndogs, and a side of fries. The mini corndogs were ok. Small bits of hotdog wrapped in the sweet yellow cornbread. The hotdogs were pale and didn't look all that appetizing. Seemed low quality. Nothing outstanding to us. The boneless wings were also ok. I'd imagine these would be better fresh in-house. They were warm. We each ordered the small size. What's weird is they charge "market price" for wings and the orders are done by weight. I think the small order was a half-pound. The meat was good, all-white meat, but the wings were small. The breading was ok. I ordered mine with honey mustard and garlic parmesan. The honey mustard was yellow, tangy, and sweet. The garlic parm kinda lacked flavor. My wife's wings were ordered bbq and medium. She was not a fan of the flavors. The fries held up ok. They were seasoned and mildly crispy. In the end, we regretted our heavy, fried meal and wished it had been a little tastier. I'd suggest giving this place a try but would urge you to dine in. Take-out fried food just doesn't hold up.
