My wife and I absolutely love this place and at this point, it's safely in our regular rotation. I usually go straight for the shrimp tacos, and they never disappoint. They're packed with flavor, cooked just right, and somehow hit that perfect balance of fresh and satisfying. Pair that with their rice and refried beans, which are way better than your typical "side dish afterthought" and it turns into one of those meals you think about later in the day. I've also had their birria tacos, and those deserve their own moment. Rich, flavorful, and the kind of messy that's 100% worth it. You know it's good when you stop talking mid-bite just to focus. My wife is just as loyal to her favorites, the sopes and tostadas. She swears by them, and after trying a bite (or a few... for research purposes), I get it. They're loaded, fresh, and clearly made with love. Overall, this is one of those spots where everything just works. I really like the food from here! I always enjoy the carne asada tacos they're super tender and flavorful and you have the option of traditional onion and cilantro tacos or "everything" which comes with lettuce, tomatoes and a few other toppings. I prefer my tacos with just onion and cilantro but cool to know there's more options if you like other toppings! Their sopa de res is also really delicious. I always love buying it when I'm feeling sick because it always comes out piping hot and it just has a really comforting home cooked flavor to it. Lastly I've tried the sopes from here and they were also pretty good! They lacked a little something for me and I'm not sure what it was but still this place has pretty solid flavors! Came here because we saw it had good reviews-- but honestly whoever says these tacos are good has clearly never had good tacos before. Lengua was very bland, tasted as if it was just boiled. Al pastor was very gritty and tasted more like a boiled chorizo than al pastor. Wouldn't recommend it. Not worth the $35 we spent. read more

Two stars because the guy taking our order was really nice. Other than that, not sure how they've received four stars here. I ordered a gordita, taco and nachos. They were out of Al Pastor, which they told me 5 minutes after ordering so I ended up getting the carnitas. No picture because I took the food to go and by the time I opened the package the food was not presentable. Anyway, there was no flavor whatsoever in the meat. They put lettuce and tomatoes in the Mexican tacos, just so you're aware. This was unexpected as I thought I was getting an authentic taco with only onions and cilantro. I've been coming to this food truck for years and up until last month it was the best taco truck around. I'm not sure what changed but ever since they extended their hours, their food has gone to shit. Too many times I've been given COLD food. Refrigerated cold type food. This tells me nothing is fresh and has been microwaved the whole time. Their portions have also gotten cheap. It's a cute little food truck tacos place. I like coming here for authentic tacos especially Tuesdays. They have an amazing tacos Tuesday deal which includes 3 tacos, rice and beans, and drink for $9.00. I highly recommend the green salsa on top of the tacos. Nom nom nom this place is great. The food is always hot and fresh, the taste is their and portion size is more than Loli's. You definitely get your money's worth here. The service is fast but even still sense cooked fresh you have to wait... I call ahead most of the time and pick up and go but i have also sat outside and ate. The tables are clean and the fans with the canopy give you relief from the heat. 9/10 would recommend. I ordered 3 barbacoa, 3 lengua, and 4 asada. The meat from the asada tacos tasted disgusting. I am a chef and I wouldn't recommend this place I ended up throwing out the asada tacos. I feel sick now and will not visit this establishment ever again. This is not the first time that they served me this weird meat, I gave them another shot thinking it was a one time thing. I was very mistakened. The oil in which the jalapeños and onions were fried in tasted like it was weeks old. Salsa was weird too, very watered down I don't know what happened with this food a couple of weeks ago it was fine. I have had the Al pastor pork tacos at several authentic restaurants in the area and this one was the least flavorful. The rice and beans were average. Nothing to write home about. My husband and I went for lunch expecting great things as they are typically busy over the lunch hour. It was obvious that everything was made from scratch, but every dish just seemed to be lacking flavor. I had the shrimp soup and one shrimp taco. My husband had two carnitas tacos and two carnitas gorditas with a rice water. The shrimp soup was fine; a little spicy (which was the best part). The shrimp taco was bland, and the carnitas was bland as well. The rice water had a slightly grainy texture (which is normal), but the flavor was awesome. Our favorite are their tacos, made on either corn or flour tortillas and all the toppings. The shrimp soup is STELLAR!
