In the small town of Wimauma it was satisfying to find a great flavorful reasonably priced Mexican restaurant. They have seating inside plus seating outside. I have eaten there several times and I am constantly amazed by the consistency of the dishes. This time I ordered the shrimp burrito, which comes with a side salad and fench fries. To say the dish was enormous is not to be believed. Delicious rice, shrimp and other burrito stuffing was incredible. The price cheaper than going with the large meal at a fast food place which offers no satisfaction after its eaten. Believe me I was satisfied. If your looking for a new taste of non Taco Bell type food but healthy fresh food this is your place. I will be back with my fork in hand. read more

My husband and I drive up to this area to MTB ride and this spot was somewhere he ate at a loooong time ago, so we decided to try it out together. The food was excellent! Authentic Mexican food. Lots of flavour, good size portions and freshly made juices. We had the chicken burrito, shrimp tacos with corn tortilla shells and chile tatemados. Everything was fresh and didn't take long to come out the kitchen. We washed everything down with a horchata and a freshly squeezed pineapple juice. Both were so good! The size of the drinks are ridiculously huge! 20oz I believe, and well worth the price. Also......free refill with the juice! I actually asked the waitress how much for the to-go juice since we paid already and she said it's free! I don't know of any other place that gives you a free refill of homemade juice. Overall, the place was clean and nicely decorated, and we had a great meal for less than 40 dollars. The waitress was friendly and attentive and I just have to mention that the bathroom was immaculate! The huge TV on the outside patio looks like they have some epic gatherings in the evening And one more thing, they don't serve any kind of alcohol. We will definitely eat here again! read more

First time customer which is hard to believe as I've lived here a long time. There is indoor and outside seating. We chose inside because it's so hot this time of year. Our server was super friendly and quickly got our drink order. The menu has lots and lots of choices. I settled on enchiladas and could have my choice of chicken, pork, beef, cheese or bean. I chose two chicken and two cheese. Food arrived quickly, and actually too quickly. My food was barely warm which was disappointing to me. Stopped here after a short hike and the delicious agua fresca was exactly what I needed! It was so tasty that my kid, who originally didn't want any, got one to-go after trying mine. Excited to go back and try different flavors. We all got tacos, which were also tasty but I wish I'd done something more exciting than picadillo. Other than no licquer license; this small Mexican restaurant was delicious with a cool vibe, plenty of outdoor seating and great service. The homemade guacamole, chips and salsa were great. My Mom has the tacos and I had the 3 meat fajitas. The meat was grilled to perfection and very flavorful with delicious rice, beans, salad and tortillas. What a surprising little spot we found! Was taking mother out for lunch on a Sunday and decided Mexican would fit the Bill. Yelp directed us here and we were not disappointed. The menu had all the staples and then some. Plenty of variety! The prices were definitely right for lunch. Maybe one of the most notable items was the freshly made tortillas. They came out piping hot and you could tell they were made by hand. Between the three of us, we had a burrito, a taco salad and chili Rellenos. All met or exceeded expectations. Taking the back roads from Lake Placid to Tampa, we ended up driving through Wimauma around lunch time. A quick Yelp search made this place sound appealing, so into the large, dusty parking lot we went. There is seating both inside and out; we went with indoors, and while they did have a wall unit A/C, it was still pretty warm in there. Plus - they seemed to have a fly problem, although the server soon attacked them with a fly swatter. We started with chips and salsa, which were clearly both homemade and delicious. Any time I see a fried whole fish on the menu, I'm in, and this time was no exception. It came out perfectly cooked, crunchy on the outside and moist on the inside, and I could not stop picking at it. It was served with rice, beans, flour tortillas, and a little salad.
