I left another pharmacy (not gonna mention names but it starts with a C and ends with a S) because most of the time they were out of my meds and needed to order them, which took days sometimes. The place always had long lines for pick ups for scripts no matter what time of day. So I left there and went to Rite Aid. Have been happy ever since.

I have prescription for controlled substances which has me going to the Dr to physically pick up the RX every month(hassle)thank you DEA I expect to be able to have a RX filled within the same day. At CVS I am able to pick up my prescription the same day w/o being told they have to order the drug & it takes 3 days to get (rite Aid 111 n main takes 3+ days, longer if they screw it up). I understand there are lines ((not always)) and when there is be prepared to wait. (Waiting @CVS is more quick than 3 days). Before this store was remodeled the people behind the counter were the most HORRIFIC , RUDE, COLD, UNRESPONSIVE, I say this as I was in line standing to drop off ( there were no other customers ) and I waited for the lady that was standing at the spot where you give them your rx, she was looking down.... I waited 5 minutes she said NOTHING, then a co-worker walked up next to her & began chatting (bullshit ting )), he looked me directly in the eye, neither has said MAY I HELP YOU? DID U NEED TO DROP OFF YOUR RX? NADA was asked! When I go in (at least once a week), I am immediately identified by the cashier who then communicates over the loud speaker for one of his or her co workers to head to the ice cream section where I am immediately served. The chocolate malted crunch and the rocky road are just as I remember it as a kid growing up when the store was actually named thrifty. I told him that due to some scheduling conflicts, I had no choice but to reschedule the appointment at around 6 pm, but the pharmacist told me that I can come in at any time today to get the vaccine. I thanked him for the reassurance and I went here to get Meningitis ACWY and B versions. I wanted to take these two vaccines again because of the recent Meningitis B outbreak in England, and I didn't want to get Meningitis from someone who was recently in the UK. I don't want to sound rude or insensitive in any way, but I would rather be vaccinated than getting Meningitis. The pharmacist Jason was really gentle with me and he was really good at talking to me and calming me down. He didn't take too long to prepare the vaccines. I also told him about my COVID vaccine nightmare that happened to me over the weekend. I was bedridden and nauseous AF. I threw up several times at home. Jason asked me if the illness went away the next day and I told him that I fully recovered. He was really glad. I also told Jason that I read that people with a history of headache disorders are more likely to get the rare side-effects of the COVID vaccine. He told me that's likely possible. I told him that when I was 18, I was sexually exploited and the trauma of it has caused me to develop tension headaches. He told me that he was really sorry to hear what happened to me. He pinched my shoulder and then shook it to lessen the pain from the vaccines. It was worth it. He also used a single band-aid and put it vertically.

And the reason why I don't go inside when I stand too long my back hurt. But the reason why I'm writing this today I have to say they are so helpful. I put in description no word so then I had to call in and explained to them what I need a refill is kind of emergency inhaler. They get it done less than 30 minutes. Just wanna say thank you so much so appreciated. The pharmacy team they are the best even though they're so busy but they get our subscription refill.
