Through their extreme generosity, I was able to be approved for two individual grants which allowed me to continue two different types of infusion treatments for my autoimmune diseases. Not only did their generous grants cover my infusions and all the necessary equipment/supplies but it also included the expenses correlated with in-home nursing staff. Their impeccable staff worked seamlessly to help me through the multi-level process of paperwork and information to be submitted, correlating directly with my local Doctor for orders, my insurance company, the shipment of supplies, coordinating nursing staff, etc. Though there are many involved in this process that I do not know of, I do know for certain that I want to give a huge shoutout to the following employees with AmeriPharma Specialty Care. I honestly have no idea how to write the immense gratitude I have for "my team"! Words cannot adequately express how I feel about my Ameripharma Specialty Care team. It started with Patient Navigator, Gloria I. Gloria answered my call and was so kind, so understanding. I had just been told by Optum Rx that I would have to pay over $2,300/week for my husbands immunotherapy. I was so upset and crying. There was no way we could afford that. Gloria was patient and soft spoken with me and got me calmed down. After Gloria got all the necessary info, I was hooked up with Intake Coordinator, Patricia L. The first words out of my mouth were "you have a lot to live up to since Gloria was so amazing". Patricia went well ABOVE and BEYOND! She kept me informed every step of the way. She answered all my phone calls (and there were MANY!!!). She is kind, funny and most of all, CARING! She went to bat and fought hard every step of the way for us. She dealt with the morons at Optium RX like a CHAMP! She handled literally everything!! She is my hero! After Patricia got us approved, I talked to the Pharmacist, Alma K. She explained every thing I needed to know about the drug, the storage, the side effects etc. Yet another wonderful, kind and caring person. Then, the topping on the cake, the Copay Assistance person, Nancy A. She got us assistance so that we only have to pay for the epi pen! Are you kidding me?! From over $2,300/week to $45.00/once per year?! She was yet another amazing person to talk to. So kind and helpful. I cannot tell you enough good things about this company. They are ALL so kind, so caring and so VERY helpful! They will fight for you and for what you need. I cannot recommend this pharmacy highly enough! It all began on a very frustrating Friday afternoon, realizing my IVIG would be costing me over $500 per treatment. Diagnosed since 2020 each unexpected financial co-pay was mounting. What went well was the initial conversation with Hector who was very informative and told me what was happening and where we were going with the prescription he took a great deal of time and kept me well informed at each step of the way it was quite a process and he very definitively gave me information on a daily weekly basis and I appreciate the process where he got the job done for me and helping me get financial help with my prescription and when Arturo called me with the final disposition, he also was very courteous and experienced, and very definitive telling me what the process was how the Financial resolution came about and again was very definitive in telling me all the information that I needed I asked multiple questions of both Hector and Arturo and they both answered my questions expeditiously and very definitively I would recommend them in a heartbeat. Ameripharma Specialty Care is heaven sent!!! I have now been using this company for my SCIg Hizentra needs for the past 2 years. They are beyond helpful with co-pay assistance which means everything now that both myself and husband are on social security. They are always on time with delivery, all supplies and medications are there, a nurse checks in periodically and is always there if I am concerned about anything!! AmeriPharma has been extremely helpful to me over this past year since I became their patient from the setup process, dealing with my physician in getting my prescription transferred to them from my previous pharmacy to the excellent customer service they provide whenever necessary. They were amazing in the funding process explaining how the Hizendra medication would be fully funded through my AARP Medicare Advantage Plan.
