We got four quotes and Becks came in with the best price and Dave, who took his time to walk our home discuss what we wanted in detail was clearly very experienced. The demo was done quickly and without any major dust or issues as we went with the dustless removal. That team was in and out and very profession. No mess either. The tile crew came in the next day and they were clearly very experienced and cared about doing a great job start to finish. Guy and Mike were fantastic though the entire process constantly chatting with us as they went. We had a few small things that needed to be done and Guy and Mike were all over it. The end result was amazing and could not be happier. Becks has a very fair price , great quality work and no hidden surprise. We will use them again on our bathroom remodel and highly recommend.

Working with the owner, Misty Beck, was honestly the best part of the process. She's been in the industry a long time and it shows--she has deep knowledge and great long-standing contacts for the different parts of the job. She was incredibly patient with all my questions and gave me some really solid educational advice rather than just trying to push a sale. The crew was also top-notch. Javier handled the demo and cleanup, and I was seriously impressed that he got it all done without damaging any of the baseboards. Herberto is a master with tile; he laid large-format marble across a whole wall with perfectly consistent grout lines. The tile was also laid exactly level- making up for our uneven walls- which even the Shower Glass installers were impressed with. He also tackled a complex diamond pattern on the floor in a really tight space using large porcelain tiles, and the precision was spot on. We honestly, don't know how he did it. On top of the quality, the pricing and quotes were very fair--especially considering the level of craftsmanship you're getting. If you want a team that actually cares about the details and knows what they're doing, Misty and her crew are the ones to call. We'll be in contact for our next project!

Mom is 87 and she asked me to find her someone to replace the carpet. She lives in Phoenix but I live in Virginia so I had to rely on online reviews. I chose J & B Carpets as my first choice based on their location and reviews. The first thing I did though was check to see if they could accommodate a quick turnaround time. Mom had already mostly emptied the room and wanted to move things back into the room for us to come visit. Again she is 87. I did not want her to have to do this twice and it was obvious she was stressed. I spoke with Vikki from J & B Carpets and she assured me that they could do the job within a couple days of placing an order. My mother visited J & B Carpets on a Friday afternoon and selected an in stock carpet. The room was measured on Saturday morning. They installed the carpet on Monday!!!! Mom is thrilled with the carpet! Her granddaughter who is now staying there assures me the carpet is soft, well-padded and beautiful. The price was very reasonable and the customer service is excellent. I am so happy I sent my mom there and not to some big box store where she would be just another number. Mom says that she will return there for any more carpeting needs. I am very very happy with this store. Highly recommend!

Started with J and B which was local and close to my house, and knew they had been in business for a long time. They've actually been in business for 47 years! Well, after meeting with Vicki, I didn't go anywhere else. She is a doll! She made everything so easy for us and the carpet was ordered, delivered, and installed within a couple of weeks. It looks incredible! J & B's prices are extremely fair and they have so many different options to choose from. I'm thankful to have met Vicki and to have worked with such a wonderful small, local business. If you're looking for flooring, make this your first stop. You probably won't go anywhere else.

Ideal Custom Flooring - Engineered hardwood glue down

I had Florin install my luxury vinyl plank floors on my new remodeled home. High quality floors…read more The home had two new additions, each addition had a new concrete slab poured against the existing slab. These transitions had slightly uneven concrete since it was not seamless. One of these, Florin poured self leveler, albeit not nearly enough, the other he did not. The floor prep was not done correctly and now in both areas I have cracked flooring down my entire kitchen, as well as in the middle of my living room. I am talking 25' of continuous cracks right over the uneven concrete. The floors depress over 1/2" when you step on them. At first I thought i could live with it, so didn't complain, but as time went on it got worse and worse. Now the floors cut your feet. I had Florin out to inspect, and he gave me the typical contractor excuse that its a high traffic area and floors are cupping bc they are vinyl. (how can floors depress 1/2" if its installed on flat concrete?) I have built several homes and also work in the trades. The only 2 places in the home where this cracking exists are exactly down the fault lines of these two uneven concrete surfaces. Cupping does not cause planks to split in two at each seam. He tried charging me nearly 25% of my entire 3000sqft floor install to fix this 100sqft section, which no guarantee it will work or look good. This is clearly a workmanship error and I am so tired of contractors not taking accountability for their mistakes. Florin is one of those guys. Avoid doing business with him. For $100 in materials and spending 1 hour to float the floor properly, this could have been avoided. All slabs are going to have uneven surfaces from settling etc. A good flooring guy will take a level out and make sure to fill any voids. My floors are ruined and will need to replace now the entire great room and add a seam to make it look right. $5000 mistake.

Ideal gave me a good quote, came by to look at it, and was able to fit me into their schedule. My God the place looks new again. The floor just glows in this grand old Tudor Revival. And the repairs are solid and all but invisible. Smooth like butter. A couple weeks later, we had Ideal come back and repair the incorrectly installed engineered floor in the property's Casita. Another job well done - many flaws repaired, and no more clacking and popping noise as you walk across the floor. Great job guys - you're our new go-to for flooring.
