Bright Home Services provides INSTALLATION and set-up of your alarm system. What I liked about their service was that if you purchased your system as a whole upfront (the hardware), you remained on a month to month basis. If you decided you wanted to stop service, you could. This was not the case with other companies. They wanted you to complete your contract or pay 70% of your contract term--which I found a bit odd. Many co-workers and friends also told me that they ended up getting ring, or other self-install set-ups. I am not particularly that tech savvy. Ultimately I think the hardware, can end up being the same price roughly. However, bright home services not only brings the hardware and they install it for you. Then you can keep the hardware. They did work all over my house, were very pleasant, accommodated my work times and when I could be home, installing even later into the evening. When I had a last minute add on, they even came another day and worked through some of the bugs to get it set-up. If I had done myself, I would have just lost my patience and gave up. I am really grateful for their fast, kind service. Look forward to continued service. Also their company offers other higher end smart home functions, as well as solar panels. Pretty cool.

Since we're a busy business, I really appreciated how flexible they were about working around our operations so we could keep running smoothly. The work itself was top quality, they ran the wiring through the addition, which wasn't the easiest route but was by far the cleanest, and they never cut corners. What stood out most was the honesty. The price included setting up the whole camera system, but I didn't have the equipment on site. They were helpful, courteous, and available at a moment's notice. Superb team. However, I am giving a one star review for the nature of the contracts that must be signed for service. Jim -- I hope you step away from connecting your clients with Safe Home Security as the actual security service provider. Dealing with Safe Home Security has been an absolute nightmare: they have no website you can login to view your account, manage payment activity, or do anything that you'd normally expect with a modern service provider. Further, if you move to a new city like San Francisco, can't afford a million-dollar home, you are fully responsible for the 90% of the balance of your FIVE-YEAR CONTRACT which for me equates to well over one thousand dollars to end my monthly payments. No exceptions, no suspended contracts, no alternatives: pay monthly for five years or terminate but pay anyway. Safe Home Security is a business with predatory cancellation practices, forced arbitration (meaning you can't take them to court), and the language in their contracts is entirely focused on what clients can or cannot do -- nothing in their contract language is friendly to you, it is written entirely to shift accountability and responsibility away from their company and onto their customer. These types of contracts should be outlawed, and are disgusting. Jim, I'll gladly update this to a five star review if you confirm you no longer do business with Safe Home Security.
