I was surprised to see some of these low star reviews as I had a great first visit here today, but those seem to be reflective of old management. Staff told me they've been open with new management for about 7 months, so consider this when looking at reviews! I got a gel manicure with old gel polish removed. I didn't see/look into prices ahead of time but was charged $35 which I felt was fair, especially for the extra time removing old polish. My tech was Mia and she was thorough, gentle, took her time, and checked in with me along the way. I've had some manicures in the past at other salons that felt rushed and kind of painful at times. This was my second time having my nails done here. I had a totally different experience from the first time. When I made my appointment I asked for Sarah and was told that she doesn't work on Fridays. That is fine but I said I wanted a female to do my nails. When I walked in on time they acted surprised I was there and nobody was available to do my nails. I waited about 15 minutes and I was seated in the pedicure chair. A man started my feet and then about 10 minutes later another man took over and he went and started a manicure for someone else. There was no explanation for the change. I was told they had a special 20.00 off pedicure so I picked a 60.00 pedicure and was expecting it to be 40.00. The pedicure was fine no problems. When I went to have my gel manicure I was again pushed off to the original man who started my pedicure. Then after about 15 minutes I was pushed over to a lady who was there the first time I came in. I asked her about Sarah (it is her sister) and she said that she only helped when they first opened and is not working there anymore!!! So whoever answered the phone lied to me about her just having Fridays off. The whole time she was doing my manicure she was talking in Vietnamese to her co-workers and never once spoke to me. It was incredibly rude to me. She did a nice job on my nails but I hated being pushed around to all these different workers and also lied to. When I went to pay the bill they had so many up charges that I wasn't even aware of: 15.00 more for the color I picked out (chrome) and 20.00 more for gel toes that my total was $125.00. My mom got a pedicure and she said the massage chair was amazing. I told her pointy & she took it & ran. I could only find sparkly silver & asker her for rose gold & she left for 2 min & found this polish for me & opened a new box. If i could give this place a 0 star review I would. The new owners and workers there are inexperienced and my nails always look messed up in some way. My friend went to get her nails done for prom and she was unhappy with the results. Her acrylics were as short as her regular nails and they looked like cat claws. They are so sharp it almost poked my eye out. The almond shaped nails looked so terrible I cant even describe it. It is almost as bad as Sex and The City 2. We went back in in hopes they would reshape and make the nails longer with a new set since they looked so BAD. We walked in and asked for a manager and a 6 year old kid went out and asked if we needed something. Is that not a child labor violation ??? Then we got the nail lady to come and talk to us and she was incredibly rude and said it was not her fault the nails looked so bad. She said that my friend would have to take the nails off herself and then come back to her then done longer for FULL PRICE. My friend said that it wasn't her fault and asked again nicely if she could redo them for even a discounted rate since she had just paid 70 dollars for the full set. If you're getting acrylic nails make an appointment with Bryan or Tania. They do the best work. If you try any other nail tech, you will be disappointed. Unfortunately, their nail polish selection is a bit mediocre, so you may want to take your own polish. When it comes to pedicures, all the technicians do quality work. They take their time and prices are reasonable. I have tried several nail salons in the area, as I am extremely picky. I really wanted to like this salon. I gave it two tries and both were awful experiences. The first time, I took my husband for a pedicure because we were going on vacation and wanted fresh feet. We had to wait a while, which is to be expected, but once we got seated in our chairs, the nail techs began working on us right away. We both picked a nicer pedicure package with extras added to treat ourselves--but that was a waste of money. Each extra thing was applied or used with such minimal effort/time that it did not provide a relaxing or a physical benefit. (Like the hot stones-they had maybe 8 swipes on each leg and then that part was over). The massages I would equate to someone rubbing in lotion for 45 seconds. Even though we were disappointed in our experiences, I needed a manicure while I was there too-so I asked for that to be added and the nail tech told me that she didn't have time. After a couple minutes, she hesitated, but then said she'd fit it in. We felt rushed through and hat we did not get our money's worth. I decided to give it a second try because I thought our first experience may have been not so good because of the time of day and it being a weekend. Boy was I wrong! Same experience with the pedicure except I got all bloodied up this time. She cut my foot open with the nail nippers and tried to hide it with her hand. She didn't follow proper sanitation procedures nor did she apologize or say anything about it. I won't be going back again. They've definitely lost a customer in me. Oh and to top it off--they want cash and if you don't have cash and pay with card--you're unable to tip on the card. They point to the bank across the parking lot so you can tip them in cash. My cousin and I made an appointment for mani/pedi. I got seated in the pedi chair 45 min after our appointment time. She was put in about 50 minutes past our schedule time. The water was cool and no one was available to tell. Finally after 15 min with our feet in cool water they started my pedicure. She did a nice job. After i was brought to the table for manicure. It was now close to closing and few manicurists were there. They want cash payment prior to the polish. After she put me in dryer. Came back and put quick dry on between vacuuming. She put added polish on two nails and continued cleaning. She wanted out. She was unapproachable. I wasnt going to argue with her and decided to take pics and call in morning It seemed she was in pain from an injured wrist. I called and spoke to Tonya and explained. I asked her if i could send her pictures that i took in salon. I told her that we needed to get home and she was more concerned about leaving. She looked at my nails and had to be blind if she did not see the mess that was made. Tonya was unprofessional. Her main concern was her bottom line and not customer service. It is a 25 min drive and I explained i did not want to return. Especially after her rude treatment. Avoid this place !!!!!! I came in here with my niece and my daughter. I asked for a pedicure and acryclic nails. The nail technician cut my toe and ripped my nail off . As im bleeding into the tub she doesn't even check if I'm okay just continues to go about trying to finish my nails as fast as possible . Moving on to the acyclic nails ,I wanted basic French tip acrylic nails . The menu states " 35 and up" . After they did the Acrylic nails she told me that it's going to cost $55. I reinstated that the menu says 35 and up. She tried to tell me that it was too late and she could not take my nails off. She also tells me that I need to spend more money "$10" to clean up my cuticles up. I paid 125 which included my daughters service plus tip. I was trying to be polite and not complain in front of other customers,my niece, and my daughter. I contacted Tanya on. FB privately and she asked me to contact the store. I brought the above complaints of my inflammed painful toe and poor service to her attention. When I called her she argued with me and told me that her nail technician cutting me was my fault claiming that my nails were " to short" . She also stated that she would refund me for the pedicure which was 40 dollars with my 20 dollar tip .She then apologized about the injury and took accountability and we hung up the phone in agreement that I would come to the store the next day for the refund. She called me back shortly after our agreement now stating that if I want a refund She wil need to remove my nail polish and acrylics . I asked what the point of her taking off my toe nail polish was going to do .she said " that's just how they do it" I suggested that she refund me minus the cost of the product that they used. She was adamant that she needed to remove my polish and acrylics to get any refund. I told her I was uncomfortable at this point because of how she was yelling at me in the phone trying to make this my fault. My husband went to the store and Tanya said she couldn't refund without my credit card. Then my husband presented the credit card and she started saying i needed to come in to remove the nail polish. Even though the previous day, she told us she would refund the total of $40 plus tip because of the injury. I sustained to my toe. Then Tanya changed her story again stating I would now have to remove the acrylic nails. My husband received ONLY the $20 dollar tip. My husband clarified with Tanya that if I came in and had them removed that I would be refunded. So within 15 minutes I arrive at the salon and ask them to take care of me so I can get my refund. Her husband approaches me and says I wasn't getting a refund and threatened me with the police. As this is happening Tanya is asking him not to call them and for me to sit down. I said take my nail polish off because I want a refund. They gave me $20 , tried to make me sign a paper saying I was satisfied,. When I reinforced that the pedicure was 40 she said " you got a massage" which I never received. While this was all going on with customers in the store, her husband is laughing at me . I took my $20 and left and I will NEVER place into this establishment. please be careful of these people, they don't care about customers and they are extremely unprofessional. Do not recommend... first started off waiting 30 mins even with an appointment. After that they left my previous SNS powder on then just began to dip in a different color. I got burnt but the nail file twice. I asked for square with round edges and the shape cam out completely square with very sharp edges and when I asked her to file them she was very unhappy with me. I get SNS that way I don't use the UV light but at the end she but a GEL finished goat and used the UV I've gotten powder nails done hundreds of times you DO NOT use UV. When I asked nicely she ignored. To top it all off it was the completely wrong color (on top of wrong shape and size) when I brought the color I showed her and the matching number she agreed they were two different colors and said she can take them all off and do them again. At this time it was already 7:50pm and they close at 8. I was not offered a discount or anything. I wish I never went to this salon. DO NOT RECOMMEND. read more

I just moved here and tried First Lady Nail Salon for the first time. I will not be going back. I went on a Saturday and had an appointment and still waited 45 minutes. The technician rushed through my acrylic fill. She didn't cover my nails completely with polish, I can still see some of the old polish next to the new nail polish. She didn't trim my cuticles. I didn't notice this imperfections until I was home, unfortunately, until I could see my nails in a better light. Very poor quality of service. I actually truly always have the worst experience here. I haven't gone in a couple years and just went last week and they did a horrible job on my nails. Not only that but I waited 45-50 minutes after my appointment time. The nail tech clearly rushed my nails. They were done not even close to my cuticle, I also got matte polish which the next day bubbled and came off leaving my nails looking horrid. I can't believe I paid 45$ for such poor work. So I never write reviews but I'm pretty mad overall from my two experiences here. Two weeks ago I made an appointment and went in 5 minutes early to pick out color for my full set I was planning on getting. This is where it went wrong. I waited 30 minutes after my appointment time to finally get my nails started. I asked if it was possible to do pink and white acrylic ombré and let the woman know I had grabbed a color I liked just in case it was something she didn't know how to do or wasn't comfortable or even if it was something they just didn't offer. I had a back up plan obviously because I wanted it to be smooth and easy. She said she could so we went with that. I asked for coffin shaped and they were relatively coffin shaped when finished and the ombré looked good so even though it took her 2 hours to finish my nails I tipped her very well and said thank you. I was overall please until a week later the nails already were falling off. So I went back and got a fill about a day or two after a nail had fallen off. Then while at this appointment the woman doing my nails tells me that the last lady that did them left air bubbles in the acrylic and had to take of half of each nail to redo them. While redoing my nails she got acrylic all over my hands and I had to wash them off many times to try and remove it. She did well on the shape and we went with black nail polish. I payed extra for gel so it would look nice longer (and because she told me I couldn't get a Matte finish on regular polish) , or at least I thought. I went home and did my makeup for work and noticed that the nail polish was peeling off. And I just sat for another 2 hours for this fill. I will not be going back and I wish I had pictures of my first nails but I do have a picture of my nails right after I got them done and they started peeling. Both women I tipped very well because I only had larger bills on me at the time and believe in tipping for services but after the way the nails have already failed so quickly I kinda regret it and I knew I shouldn't have gone back after the first appointment, but unfortunately I did. read more

I got a full acrylic set with Brian and he was absolutely amazing. He was so precise and a perfectionist. My full set looks absolutely flawless. He didn't rush at all..the salon was extremely clean and everyone was more than nice. While Brian was doing my nails I ended up seeing and saying hello to another nail technician there. I've been to this salon twice by suggestion of a few friends. First time I went was super busy with no appointment. They got me in and the nail tech did my nail dip in under 15 minutes. They were beautiful, but only lasted literally 3 days before they started to chip. I went back, did not complain, and paid full price to try again. Wendy did my nails and THEY WERE AMAZING. Took her almost 45 minutes. She was professional, sweet, and they are STILL ON after 3 weeks, just as beautiful as the first time. The first time I got the basic spa pedicure with gel nails for $47. The lady who did a pretty good job and the polish lasted for a few weeks. The second time I went to get them redone, another lady filed my toe nail too deep and made it bleed. She didn't bother to apologize and kept going. She added on a $5 service but they didn't tell me it was extra money until the end. At the end they told me the price was $60 and I was confused since the last time I got gel was $47. I asked why I was overcharged but didn't give me a direct answer. I was upset but i paid the $60. That same day, one of the nail polishes slipped right off the nail into my sock. I was confused as to why I was paying $60 for gel to last longer if it didn't even last a day. I called to get it redone for no charge. A week later another one of the polishes slipped right off. i've been going to this nail salon for a little over a year and a half and recommend it to all of my friends. i especially love vivian, she always does an amazing job on my nails. i made an appointment for my mom and i and was told she wouldn't be in, i thought i'd give another tech a shot. BIG MISTAKE!! took way to long and my nails aren't even. you can still see the leaves that were on my nails from the time before. my moms nails aren't even and have weird gashes in them, they weren't shortened after she said she wanted them to be about 5 times until she practical had to criticize the guy. i love this place i do, but i refuse to let another tech touch my nails unless it's vivian. so i'm not giving an awful review just disappointed with my service this time around. read more
