I asked for dip with tips and a regular pedicure. The nail tech who did my pedicure was unhappy with the fact that I chose the regular pedicure and kept trying to upsell me. She was unhappy I chose a light color on my toes because it was more coats. She continued talking in a different language the whole time which made me feel like she was talking about me. She used gel polish and didn't even ask if I wanted it or that it was $12 extra. I found that out at the end. I was a walk in so I didn't mind waiting but I was told "15 min" and it was like an hour. The woman who did my nails seemed to be rushing. She forgot to turn the UV light on and blamed me for not telling her. She filed excessively and never pushed my cuticles back. I asked for short and she didn't even ask what shape she just filed square. The nails turned out pretty good but the experience wasn't great. It was very expensive and I know nails are expensive hence why I only do them for special occasions. The fact that they didn't even tell me about the up charge on the toe polish really upset me seeing I chose the basic pedicure for a reason. I was there for 3 hours. It's been a week and 3 of my nails broke at the cuticles and peeled off. I paid for dip which is supposed to have better hold up. I will not go back and I don't feel comfortable going back in and having them fixed because they already look grown out. Save your money ladies.

The workers truly are kind and it is a clean establishment. My manicure was awful, lasted maybe a week. Was gel French. I mentioned that I thought the color looked cracked and I could see my old nail polish underneath and the nail teach that's what the picture looked like. I personally didn't feel appreciated as a customer with that response, as it was for a wedding and I would've preferred it looked how I wanted. Before this year I had had good experiences with BV. I hope they can fix these issues because it is certainly an expensive experience to not be great.

It was clear that she didn't speak English, but I've encountered non English speaking nail techs before. No problem. Throughout the service, she seemed interested in knowing if everything was alright, and it was. What happened next, stunned me. I mentioned that the polish was too thick on both of my great toes. Before I could finish my sentence, she said "it's your toe, your nail have hump". Nope. No hump. Never hump. The manager came over, examined the nails, saw the problem, and took over. By now it's past closing time and everyone was like getting ready to leave the building. My tech rushed through the job and the fingers turned out horribly. I'm so disappointed in the service and the customer service as well! I won't even consider going back there for a fix. I can only suggest that unless you're desperate, find another salon!!

Nail Trix - My nails are not even coral. They're crooked, the paint job was subpar and filed wrong. I am so upset I paid $50 for these nails.

I really hate having to write this because I actually gave this nail salon multiple chances, but…read moreI'm honestly disappointed, more with how my concern was handled than anything else. I came in last Tuesday to get a full set, my daughter got a full set, and I also got a pedicure. Everything looked fine at first, but the very next day my nails felt a little loose. I didn't think too much of it, but within a few days one nail popped off and then another one today. This isn't my first issue here either. The first time, I ended up with an infection in my thumb and I didn't say anything because I couldn't prove where it came from. The second time, there was so much gel pushed back on my nail that it was actually uncomfortable and affecting my nail growth. I had to come back to have it fixed, and even then some nails were already lifting. So now this is my third experience, and instead of someone saying come in, let us take a look, I was told they only guarantee nails for 24 hours and I'd have to pay to fix them. That just didn't sit right with me. I even asked if that policy is posted somewhere for customers to see, and I never got a clear answer. At this point, it's not even just about the nails, it's about customer service. When someone comes to you with a concern, especially after being a repeat customer, the response matters. Because of this, I will likely not be returning. I'm not one to leave reviews like this, but I think people should know what to expect.

I was searching for an appointment the week before the fall semester, which is naturally busy…read more Denied by many places, Kaitlyn was happy to come in early to do an appointment with me. Many salons wouldn't offer that, so I really appreciated the customer service. The decor inside is immaculate. As you'll see in the photos others have posted, it has an earthy yet luxurious feel to it. Down to earth but classy. Very bright and airy. A nice place to be. My stylist Kaitlyn (again, can't thank her enough for coming in early just for me) was very good about walking me through the steps of the process because I was doing a big change (cut off 12"+ and balayage; I've never even colored my hair before), making sure I was comfortable along the way. It definitely made me feel more at ease and trust in her abilities. She was very knowledgeable about the whole process of coloring from a chemical perspective. Which, as a chemistry major, I found pretty neat. Maybe others wouldn't care in the way I do about the chemistry, but it is relieving to know that your stylist really understands what she's doing to your hair. The products they use are very hair healthy and eco-friendly, which I find important. Louis offered me tea, too, which I've personally never experienced in a salon. Those little things help to make you more comfortable and at home, so I appreciated it greatly. As for how my hair turned out... I loved it! It couldn't have come out any better. It was exactly how I was hoping it would turn out. Masterful. It's been about 6 months since I got the cut and it's grown out nicely, which is exactly what I was hoping for! Before my hair was down to my hips with a lot of broken strands. I'm glad I got it chopped off because now it's healthy and turns out to be simple enough to style. Because now that I look back, I had so much hair that it just kinda sat there. I'm glad I got over the fear of cutting it, and that Kaitlyn was the one to do it! Just be aware that a process like mine cost about $200. Definitely not cheap, but these services also require a great deal of skill. Don't expect to be getting results this good for $20. I don't do a lot with my hair (I rarely ever use heat on it) so my hair is healthy enough to where I don't need cuts that often. But I think the next cut I need, I will come back.

I dreaded going to hair salons in the US because I have Asian type of hair (thick, heavy strands), and almost all salons I went to have been disappointing me with the results because they're not used to handle this type of hair. I went anyway because I was too desperate! I called in the morning and they told me to come in an hour later. Kristen was my stylist and she was super nice! She greeted me and offered some drinks. She really tried to cater to my needs and she even confirmed at the end if I want to adjust the length and the model (which I did and she was soooo accommodating!). The wash and blow at the end was really nice too! The place itself was really cozy and well decorated. It looks like high-end salon as soon as I walk in. But, here's the highlight, IT IS SO AFFORDABLE! I've had haircuts with the same price and they usually do just the bare minimum. I literally told her I can't believe I only have to pay that much! Would definitely come back for my routine haircut with Kristen!
