I have been a long time customer. But since the business transitioned to new owners the quality of service and experience has dramatically diminished. It's as if they do not care at all about the customer. Make an appointment with a specific technician and you likely won't see that individual. The last two times my manicure has degraded after a week (power manicure which typically would last 3 weeks or longer). I will not be returning. read more

When she was still there, oversee the mistakes that was one thing... my manicure was OK. They were very hard to communicate with. My pedicure not so much. I have gotten 3 nail fills and 1 pedicure. I have not been disappointed yet!! Staff is friendly, reasonably priced and I haven't had to wait more than a few minutes if I make an appointment! I've been to multiple nail salons that I made an appointment and still had to wait 20-30 minutes! I def recommend QQ for nails and pedis! I really wanted to love it here. I came in for dip nails a few days before going on vacation. I usually do my own gel nails at home but wanted something I didn't have to worry about on vacation. My first red flag was that they use a brand other than ANC, which I'm my experience is the best dip brand. The gentlemen doing my manicure definitely made them chunky and never filed my actual nail beds but I was willing to overlook it., maybe he knew something I didn't. 4 days later the first nail popped off, doing nothing strenuous, literally in the middle of eating dinner. Exactly one week later, 5 had popped off. Shows an absolutely horrible application job for $50 (with tip). I would have been much better off doing my normal at home gel! For comparison, everyone of my previous ANC manicures has lasted at LEAST 3 weeks. Also, halfway through the manicure, the gentlemen got up presumably to grab something and walked behind me and immediately began to massage my shoulders. Never massaged my hands, only my shoulders. Never had that done in a manicure before and believe a warning he was about to touch my shoulders would have been very much appreciated! Will not be coming back. read more

I cannot believe they let me leave like this. They were annoyed that I had short nails to start, and made me get up in the middle of my dip manicure to get my eyebrows waxed. When I came back he massaged my hands while I was standing and then let me leave with polish all over my fingers. Will not be going back. read more

I just moved here from NYC, where nail salons are everywhere and competition is fierce. I was happy to see that QQ Nails offered UV Gel. I thought I would take a chance and I'm so glad that I did. The shop is very clean, quiet and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and welcoming to all of their patrons. They give you a complimentary water bottle, which I thought was sweet. Cindy was my nail tech. They have a nice selection of gel colors. Once I picked my color, she started right away. Cindy's attention to detail was better than any nail salon I've been to in NYC. She followed everything I had requested (cut shorter, keep shape of nails) and was meticulous with her work. After she was done, she gave me a nice free massage for a few minutes. Be sure to get clarification on pricing. The board stated $35 for my service, I was charged $50. I asked the nail tech to shorten my nails, he became increasingly annoyed. I asked for almond shaping, apparently it is $6. No one on their right mind would pay that, so it is an effective way of not having to train the staff on how to do anything but a square space, and a horrific, uneven square shape at that. I asked for powder & had to keep asking him to please put the powder closer to my cuticle. I hadn't event left the appointment & it already looked like I needed a fill. read more

I called and was told for a fill it was $45 and I went in and got my nails done and I showed him the picture I wanted and I stated "this is $45 right?" And I asked 3 times while doing my sevice AND I was told $45 on the phone. I went and paid and they were trying to charge me $67!!!!!! If I could rate 0 I would. I have been going here for a little over a year. At first they were awesome but the past 3 times I have gone have gotten worse and worse. Even if you make an appointment they rush through and do a poor job. I have very thin nails and need my nails dipped at least a couple of times to make them thicker so they won't break. I asked if they could make them thicker the guy literally ignored me and left part of my nail without any dip on them. He fixed 1 of them but didn't touch the rest. My nails were round like I always have them and he squared them and didn't even file them so they're super sharp. When he was sanding down the tops of the nails he cut my fingers. I got my nails done yesterday and later that night I was washing my hands and my thumb nail cracked. Today I went in to see if they would try to make it right and fix my nail. Cindy asked if I could come back later I told her no and she asked if I could come back tomorrow I told her no again. I was free yesterday when I got them done and then this morning other than that I do not have the time to drive back. Then she said were too busy to fix it... If they were done correctly the 1st time I wouldn't have had to come back today. I told her I'll be finding some where else. I refuse to move around my time for their F up. There is so much wrong that I could type but if you go to this establishment please read through all of the reviews. They just lost me and the other people I know as customers. I wish I got pictures of the last time I had my nails done there it was horrible. Shame on me for going back. Never again. read more

This place is okay if you go for customer service but nothing else. My sister and I got our nails done. She wanted a full ACRYLIC set and I wanted an ACRYLIC fill to which they both said okay and sat us down. They were very nice but her technicians cut her and used dip powered not acrylic. My technician took 2+ hours for a fill. My nails were over a centimeter different in lengths and crooked. He also used dip powder to fill my nails when he said he would do acrylic. The nail polish on hers (yellow) was chipped smudged and crackled. While mine( light pink ) was patchy and had dried powder spots. Overall I don't think it was worth 63+ 10 tip (each) read more

Called for a same day appointment. Asked for a 12:45 appointment which they said they couldn't do and I couldn't do the 3pm appointment they offered. We settled on 2pm. They called me back less than two minutes later and said 2pm was not going to work how about 3pm. I again said that 3pm was not going to work as my grandson had a basketball game and attending that was more important than getting a mani/pedi. They asked if I could be there at 12:15 (it was now 11:45) and I said I would be there. I arrived a few minutes before 12:15 and said I was there for my appointment. They looked blankly at me and said there was nobody scheduled for 12:15, my appointment was at 2pm. I said, you called me and changed it to 12:15. They responded that they made a mistake and could not take me and to come back at 2pm. Needless to say, that was no longer feasible since I wasn't going to wait around for almost 2hrs. I've tried this nail salon two times and I should've known after my first experience that it was a mistake to try again. I went in to have acrylics removed and a gel polish manicure on my own nails, I was shocked to find how they over charged for the removal of the nails alone in addition to the manicure. But what really frustrated me beyond belief was how the gentlemen doing my nails completely rushed through the process, was rough with my hands and seemed genuinely bothered to be having to do the job in the first place. It ruined the experience for me. Granted, I do realize everyone has off days but I was extremely nice and tried to even make conversation. I've seen numerous reviews raving of the high quality of customer service provided by this salon but I honestly didn't see it and I'm disappointed. You can pay a little less and still get quality work AND good customer service elsewhere, believe me. read more
