After a long and grueling search for the perfect car... I ended up here. I had the best experience working with a salesman by the name of "Chuck". He was very personable and got me in the car that was just right for me and my budget. I didn't even think that I would like the car that I purchased. If ever anyone is in the market for a vehicle, I suggest seeing Chuck!!! Thanks again sir for all of your hard work on getting me "...into the game..." Sir. read more

Great experience buying a car through Kia of Simi Valley. Sid was more than helpful and understood and how far we drove to check out the car and was able to give us a great deal. The Carfax matched the vin # and the car was clean and in excellent condition! Thanks Sid & Kia for everything! read more

The customer service was great! I always feel like it's a quick waiting time. Everyone is so friendly and tries to help you. I especially wanted to say thank you to Robin she was so helpful, I'm younger and don't know a lot about cars but she really did do an amazing job explaining everything to me and giving me the best service I could ask for. read more

Had a great car buying experience with Omar. He was patient with me over the phone all day with me asking a bunch of questions. Didn't try to "sell" me or pressure me. Dealt with my boyfriend, god mom, her husband and my brother answering everybody's questions! Really happy with my deal overall. Good experience!! read more

The sales experience was great 1 year ago; the service department was and continues to be outstanding!!

This review is mostly in regards to the service department. My Kia was having issues with its clutch slipping. I took it in to the service department here and explained the issue thinking that at an actual dealership I would get professionalism and people who were knowledgeable about the cars that they sell. Instead I was met with not only some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced ANYWHERE but also a completely incompetent staff. They ran a diagnostics check (This is very easy to do at home with the right inexpensive equipment) which they charged me $130 for doing.(no parts, no labor involved) Robyn the service dept coordinator then called me and said nothing was wrong with my car aside from needing a new battery which was completely dead. (I have a new battery which was put in 6 months ago) when I was upset that they were attempting to charge me for doing nothing at all (not even driving the car to see if they could figure out what the issue was) she spoke to me as if I was an idiot, saying "everything is done with computers these days". I then asked to speak to a manager. The manager Guy called me an hour later already being defensive and poised to argue with me. When I told him that all I wanted was for someone to drive my car so that they would understand what the issue was he then calmed down and obliged. Later he called me back saying that I needed $1800 worth of work done including replacing the clutch entirely and still trying to tell me that I needed a new battery. Needless to say I did not leave my car to be repaired here. In the end I took it somewhere much more welcoming and knowledgeable. I did need a new clutch yet at this shop it cost me $800 less. Terrible experience.. read more

If you are looking to buy a Kia Stinger do not go here. They will throw you some b.s. about having to run your credit just to drive a sub-$40k 4 cylinder Kia. Maybe it is because we looked young or maybe it is because it is their policy, either way, go to Galpin or T.O... They won't run your credit if you just want to test drive. read more

TERRIBLE All Around! Siam, my service advisor had a bad attitude from the moment I arrived. Siam kept cutting me off as I tried to express my concerns with the vehicle; and Very quick to deny any warranty related services issues. Then upon picking up my vehicle, he went on to blame my previous oil change as cause of the transmission kicking into gear... mind you, I've been experiencing this issue for over 8 months, 2 oil changes ago not counting the current one I was getting. All KIA service departments suck! That's a known fact, but this one goes above and beyond to claim the title as the WORST! Wish I could give them ZERO stars but Yelp forces you into one. read more

I would have to say it was the easiest car purchase I've ever experienced. Omar Abuzaid was super helpful and friendly. It's my first Kia it may not be my last. Thank you again Omar you are the best! read more

I went there to look at the new stinger. The customer service is horrible and very rude. I wanted to test drive one and if not possible at the moment, set up an appointment. The blond employee told us that he couldn't help us with anything because I'm not worthy of his time. He told me to ask the older guy for help, but nothing changed, and they were very rude. I love kias and the cars they make, but 1st kia of Simi Valley has horrible customer service. I have been to dozens of dealerships, but I have never been treated this badly anywhere. I recommend getting a Kia from Any other dealership other than 1st kia of Simi Valley! read more

My experience at 1st Kia was GREAT! They gave me what i wanted on my trade in and I got the car I wanted at the price I wanted to pay. Thanks to Jeff read more

The whole team at first KIA of Simi Valley made my first car buying experience incredible. They were professional and helpful and really went above and beyond to ensure I had a great experience. Cody, the sales guy, did everything he could to make sure that I got exactly what I was looking for. He was genuine and professional from when I walked in till he handed me the keys to my new car. Thank you everyone at first KIA! You guys rocked! read more

I would only ask for Omar Abuzaid if you want to buy a car here. He is head and shoulders above all salesmen. Buying a car is beyond anxiety provoking. Omar is not only VERY knowledgable but took the time to show me every car I asked about. He was not in a hurry and actually stayed late just to make sure all my questions were answered. He is a good hearted man. You can tell he loves his job; helping people through the car buying process. He put me at ease. I ended up buying a car that suits me perfectly. Funny thing is after looking at all of the cars and spending hours there I ended up buying the car that Omar originally thought would be a good match for me. Thanks to Omar I made the right choice. NO buyers remorse for me!!!!!! read more

I am not someone who likes shopping for cars. I hate being pressured and I take my time on big decisions. Michael Peters, my salesman, was amazing. The guy did not pressure me at all and even sounded at times like he was fine with me walking out the door if I wasn't sure. However, when I needed help searching through their cars for the right fit, he went above and beyond to make it happen. I'm really happy I chose this car (Kia Soul) and I highly recommend going to this place for anyone who is in need of a new or used car. Great, no stress, experience. Patricia Brown gave me a nice follow-up call a few days later too. read more

1st KIA of Simi is a great dealership. This was our first time to this dealership and will be back when we decide to trade in our 2nd KIA Optima. Great inventory of cars on their lot. The service was GREAT! Starting with Johnny Kia down the line, sales, finance mgr. Everyone was very personal and VERY pleasant to do business with. I am looking forward to going back when my car needs its scheduled maintenance. We were in and out no haggling. They are one step ahead of the process expending the dreaded paperwork. Thank you Johnny and team!! read more

Just got my new car and love it!! SID KHAN was a great sales man! He never made us feel pressured to close the deal .. He allowed us to take our time but always kept in touch to answer any questions we may have! I highly recommend this dealership everyone was so nice!! Go see SID KHAN!! read more

I went in to First Kia with the intention of looking for a semi-new car & walked out with a 2014 Hyundai Accent that I love! I'm still building my credit & I was able to get a great trade in value for my car, I only put $2000 down & my payments are $215. I'm beyond ecstatic that Derrick & his manager Bob were able to work with me to get me my new car, thanks guys! read more

I went into 1st Kia of Simi Valley on Sunday to buy a used car. Omar greeted myself, my mom and my boyfriend as we walked up. He took us around the lot and I didn't see anything I liked. He then introduced us to George, his finance manager. He checked inventory for us and then informed us that the 2 other dealerships up the street were theirs also and we could look on those lots. We hopped in a car with Omar and he drove us down the street. I found a 2013 Honda Civic EX-L that I really liked. We went back to 1st Kia and started filling out paper work and talking numbers. George was very clear in explaining things to us and both him and Omar were very hospitable. They made sure all 3 of us were comfortable and offered us drinks and something to eat while we were working on the deal. They got my payment down to a comfortable number. Even though we were there for a long time, which is normal, it didn't really seem like it to me. Omar was very funny and kept us laughing. I would highly recommend buying a car from him and dealing with George. read more

First Kia Simi Valley - My 2013 Honda Civic EX-L that I bought from Omar at 1st Kia Simi Valley - Car Dealers Near Me - Simi Valley, California

Collin helped me pick out my 1st kia i was unsure of the models kia had and collin told me all about the top selling suv's and shared what he has learned from his own experience working with kia owners over the last few years, i was a little nervous buying a kia from this dealer because noticed a busy service department and as a former ford owner thats not a good sign, when i told collin about my worries he invited me to meet the service manager Justin and talk to some of the customers in the service department. To my surprise not one person was experincing problems with their car.one man i talked to bought a kia back in 2003 and just comes for the coffee in the customer lounge he said they have the best coffee in town and its free.and the two other women i spoke to get oil changes at kia one of them drove a honda,it turns out kia has the lowest price on lube and oil changes and every one comes with a multi point inspection.I ended up picking a Sorento because it earned the IIHS' Top Safety Pick designation, and i loved everything collin showed me about the UVO eServices capability,he even set me up with apps for Yelp, Pandora, and other services.and told me i will never forget where i parked my car again. read more

I have never walked in to a Car dealership and experienced such professionalism! I typically dread the process of purchasing a car, and this experience was truly amazing! Collin is the star salesman that was very informative, and really understood our needs. Bob, the sales manager was quick to follow up and also was tuned into our needs. Johnny Kia is the man! He's the one that makes the magic happen. He's ethical, truthful and meets you in a place where everyone wins. I highly recommend First Kia! My family purchased two cars this week from them. read more

Today we were looking around hoping to get a better idea of a new car for my grandma. Omar AbuZaid immediately greeted us as we were walking up! He was very friendly and catered exactly to the needs of my grandma (who is very picky)! On top of that he treated us like one of his friends, which is difficult to find at any dealership. He was knowledgable and gave us a good impression of KIA brand. We left very satisfied! read more

As always, Robyn makes my experience at Kia a very good one! She is very friendly and has an answer for all my questions and concerns. Definitely one of the reasons I keep coming back. read more

Horrible service. One of their salesperson gave us incorrect price and information over the phone, prompting us to visit the dealership. Once we arrived, the manager changed the price and did not acknowledge that the salesperson on the phone had made a mistake. Instead he put the blame on us for choosing to visit dealership. Does the customer really need to be told they should not have arrived? I have never seen that in business! Terrible business skills and very unfriendly environment. Even if they had a good deal, the sour attitude does not welcome you at all. They will continue to lose Kia lots of money just because of their terrible, sour, rude, arrogant, unwelcoming and unwilling to sell attitude. read more

I first went to First Kia right before the new year after receiving a letter in the mail to trade in. I didn't NEED a car, but if the price was good.. my experience over all was fantastic, I had Jonathan as my sales rep both times (when I initially looked and when I came back to purchase). He was fantastic through and through. I told him up front what I was looking for, and he was able to show me exactly those options. I didn't walk away that day with it, but he followed up, and I came back in March had bought my car (2017 Sportage)from him! The entire experience was smooth and fast. So thank you to Jonathan on the great customer experience and thank you to First Kia. I definitely recommend Jonathan and First Kia to all my friends and family. read more

I bought my car back in February but am late in posting. I've had a great experience with first Kia. Jonathan was great in helping me find my new car that fit my budget and my needs, the staff was so nice and helpful, I felt very important. I love my new car! I haven't had any issues with it and I recently took it to Kia for a service-check. It was around 7am when I took my car in and everyone was still in a great mood. First Kia Simi Valley - Car Dealers Near Me - Simi Valley, California

I don't like car dealerships as a general rule. First KIA is the exception! I bought my Sedona elsewhere and took it to First KIA for warranty service. From the first moment, I have been pleased. Everyone from sales, to service consultants to shuttle drivers take the time to be friendly and get to know their customers personally. When we are ready for a new car, First KIA is the FIRST place we'll stop. In the meantime, they have won my service loyalty forever. read more

This is the place to go to buy your next car. Ask for Cody he is the most helpful sales man ever. He totally makes sure you have a good experience buying a car. Sunday we went to 3 dealerships and made our decision on a great used KIA. He knows these cars inside and out going over all the features but vital controls and gave my Daughter a test to make sure she got it. THANKS Cody! read more

Ok first of all Cody was very polite and gracious. He showed me only what I wanted to see. So that is why I'm giving 5 stars. I purchase on 7-27-2014 I made up my mind on which soul in about 15 minutes. The rest of the process took too long. Getting the boss to give the sale price took too long. I think I waited a bout an hour and a half. (3 stars) I had to wait for the sales pitch of the extra warrantees for another half hour. No one did the "old hard sell" but making you wait sooooo long is the new tactic I guess. I have been shopping via COSTCO and via the KIA Corporate website. I thought I was dealing with the "COSTCO program" and I was not and I repeatedly asked for the COSTCO list. I was never corrected and told I was never should the list or I had mixed them up with another dealer and never corrected either way. I felt that was dishonest The younger me would have walked.... Will I come back here? Perhaps, but well rested and more attitude! But CODY was great. So was the Mr. Lennox! read more

I had Benjamin Villalpando assist me and he did a amazing job! He was so patient with me and my parents looking for exactly the right color interior and price down to every detail. From the moment he approached us while we perusing the used vehicle section he was friendly, helpful but not pushy. He made the entire process seem easy, answering any questions we had. 1st Kia was recommended to me by several people and I plan to refer others as well.
