Benjamin Villalpando was a great sales person and he actually listened to what we wanted in price and car type. The entire finance team was very easy to work with. Fuzzy & Mike were awesome. Thank you First Kia! Oh and I got a cute White 2011 Toyota Corolla S. They even took my trade-in. Yay! read more

Just got a new used Nissan Altima from Perry Wilson. Got what I wanted at a fair price. Perry was very easy to work with. Not high pressure. I've had my last two Nissans serviced at 1st Nissan and always been pleased with their service department. The new one will be serviced there, too. read more

We had a great experience with your entire staff, our salesperson Crawford was both very friendly and knowledgeable about the entire kia car line. Bob the assistant Manager was also very helpfully in helping us make the deal that we finally accepted. read more

The service staff Robyn and Debbie are most excellent. They truly care about the KIA Costumers. I could easily go elsewhere for my oil change, but because of them I go to First Kia. They certainly are super awesome in what they do. read more

Michael and Derrick were amazing Salesmen! Everyone at this dealership was extremely nice and helpful. I visited the Kia dealership in Sherman Oaks and had a horrible experience there and immediately went back to 1st Kia. They helped me get out of my old car and into my new 2014 Kia Optima! They were really great and I'd absolutely go back to them. Thanks!!! read more

I visited the website after seeing the newest Kia Soul commercial with dueling banjos and hamsters. I wanted that purple Kia Soul. I was contacted by Maggie who put me in touch with Collin Kiedaisch. After speaking with Collin, I went in for a test drive. He was extremely knowledgeable and a very nice young man. We discussed various vehicles, options, packages, and what I wanted in my car. Collin took me for a test drive and then showed me all the Souls current on the lot. He explained the option, differences, and prices for each one. Then, Collin, Bobby, Johnny Kia, and Dave worked with me to trade in/pay off my 2012 Kia Soul, as well as getting the financing and car payments to a place where I was comfortable. Before I left the lot, Collin sat with me in my new Soul, explaining how to work all the technology and cool features, promising additional help should I ever need it. They are a wonderful group of guys and I would definitely recommend them. I couldn't be happier and love my new Kia Soul. And Collin even put me in touch with a company to wrap my Soul purple! Can't wait! Thank you, 1st Kia! read more

I loved my experience here! Was referred by a friend and thank god i was! Omar Abuzaid helped me get the best deal and a beautiful Optima. I am obsessed. These guys are simply the best! I would give them 10 stars if I could. No Need to look anywhere else. We were in the market for an SUV for our mother and visited 1st Kia. We were greeted by Johnny & Eian who were extremely knowledgeable, thorough, and professional. I could not have asked for anything more. The entire deal from beginning to end took less than an hour (including the finance approval) and it was an absolute pleasure! I have no doubt that we got the best deal in Southern California. We will definitely be back here again! read more

Eian Yarbrough is awesome! The easiest car buying experience I've ever had by far. Professional, easy going, quick, motivated and enjoyable to work with. Went above and beyond in service as he delivered my new car to me down in Orange County! Spoke back and forth over the phone and in one short afternoon we had closed an amazing deal and were on our way to minivan heaven. Thank you to all the staff who made it enjoyable and possible to get us the deal we got. read more

This is the email I received from the finance director requesting even more money from me., and then the threatening part demanding money by check or credit card or they will pick up my car i just bought. I was so upset after having to be with my mother she had a stroke the day after thanksgiving to open an email like that stating they will have to pick up the car i had just purchased. I sent an email stating they can than have their car back i don't appreciate threats from someone i have never met and that works for a company that i just purchased a 30 thousand dollar car from. I was so sick to my stomach the stress of thinking they are going to take the car while i have to get to the hospital and having 3 children being a single mom this threatening e mail was the breaking point. I stated i am done doing business with this company and I want my car back when i get to their office in Simi valley on 11/28/2018 at 4:00. Hi Charmaine, I am Vicki Mason, the Finance Director at First Nissan, where you just purchased the new Nissan Rogue from us. Part of the retail contract you signed with us was the agreement of $500.00 cash down. We have not received this from you. I would be happy to take this on a credit card from you, to save the trip to the dealership. As the down payment is required, we must either have the credit card information, or a check immediately. I am sure you are enjoying the beautiful vehicle, and we certainly don't want to have to take it back from you. Please let me know asap how you would like to handle this. Thanks, Vicki MasonFinance DirectorFirst Nissan Attention: Sales department After coming home from Oregon due to my mother having a stroke on the day after thanksgiving. I was and still am in shock for this nasty e-mail Ms Mason whom I have never met sent a letter to take back the vehicle I purchased. I bought my New Nissan Roque from your dealer ship on Black Friday, I was told that I could only have a 30 day delayed payment option and that you would have to order the floor mats for my vehicle . This I had no problem with. I do how ever find the threat from your finance department totally unacceptable and unnecessary. I personally never thought I would come home after spending 30,000 thousand dollars on a vehicle to have someone threaten to take it back ! ( WELL I WILL DELIVER IT TODAY PER YOUR THREATENING REQUEST) Just as she stated I will be bringing your vehicle back this afternoon and I will be picking up my vehicle. Should you believe that I owe you please feel free to contact me via e-mail . As for your advertisements on your website for all the incentives and option for a 90 day 1st pay option as well as the website states your customers satisfaction is number 1 for 1st Nissan. HA and misrepresentation of contract , usuries interest and added fees that don't exist just to top the bill up as high as possible, such as your so called portfolio fees you charged me twice for . These are items I believe need to be addressed by an attorney because your business practice is dishonest ,and false on all levels. Nobody has the right to threaten another for any reason. Also I received none of the specials that were posted on your website for black Friday. I seriously think someone should read what is advertised on your site before selling a car and sending the hound out to get payment with nasty threats. Your wish to have your vehicle back will be honored today please have my vehicle there and ready I no longer wish to do any business with 1st Nissan ever. This is very sad because I had my Nissan Brand new 2012 and love it but if dealing with a company like this is how its done now at Nissan I AM OUT. Please let me know if 4:00 today is acceptable for the return of your vehicle? I will be picking up my vehicle have it ready. Also what is a retail contract and why does your website state 2.9 interest for new financed cars yet you nailed me with a 4.9 interest rate. (disgusting) and ridiculous fees at every angle we agreed on a 5 year loan I told you I could afford 340.00 yet somehow you talked me into a 475.00 a month payment due on the 7th of January because Brian stated that this is the longest amount of time you give anyone. ANOTHER LIE MAYBE YOU ALL SHOULD SIT DOWN FOR POPCORN AND A MOVIE AND STUDY YOUR OFFERS THAT YOUR COMPANY HAS GOING ON AND THE ONES SPECIFICALLY FOR BLACK FRIDAY genius. HELLO!! If I would have seen 39 thousand dollars was what you put down as the price Ii would have ran the heck out that door faster than Ii have ever ran I still don't know how you switched it to 72 months that is insane . But you had no problem stealing my car and giving me nothing for it. deceit dishonest shysters and predators is what you all are. Best Regards, Charmaine Lestelle read more

I'm not satisfied with their service because it's difficult to get an appointment. It will take 2 weeks to get a schedule for your car service. If you're looking to test drive and research options, see Cory. He was so knowledgable and informative. He also picked up very quickly on what I wanted in a car and steered me in the right direction - didn't waste my time on models that weren't a match for me. He never seemed to be impatient or rushed, and he took the time to make certain I knew how to work everything before I left, even when he had to take his own time to do so. It's hard to find customer service like this today - very refreshing. The dealership is filled with helpful, friendly people. I look forward to great service - after years of frustration with big, corporate dealers. This is a small outfit and they care. read more

I want to thank Robyn and Jimmy the service writers at the dealership they do a fantastic job in handling there customers

Collin Kiedaisch is absolutely the person to go to. He's honest, enthusiastic, and works with your best interest at heart. I needed an oil change for my '12 Kia Soul and First Kia of Simi Valley did not disappoint with their service or employees! Robyn was very friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable! Mauricio gave me a ride to work while the service team went to work on my car and he was awesome! He was extremely polite and professional. It was great talking to him!! Upon picking up the car, Robyn went over what I needed to get replaced soon and she even showed me how to tell when to get my tires replaced (I know almost nothing about these things). The whole service and parts office seemed like they worked well together and they all seemed happy! It was a pleasure going there and I'll definitely be going back there for any of my car needs! Thanks guys!!! read more

Like everyone else...I dread buying a car. Too many salesmen live up to the sleazy used car salesmen persona. Our salesman MARK BRODY did not fit that mold. He is wonderful. Very patient, personable and genuine. He is knowledgeable...but also not afraid to ask if he doesn't have the answer. While I still don't like the amount of time it takes to buy a car, I would much rather spend the time with Mr. Brody than any other salesman. I bought the Kia Sorento...which is amazing! Such a beautiful car with so many bells and whistles for a fraction of the cost. Thank you MARK BRODY for being YOU! See you next time for sure. read more

Since my review a couple of weeks ago, I returned back to 1st Kia of Simi Valley to get the EPB light fixed on my new Kia Turbo Optima. Immediately after writing my (not so stellar) review on Yelp, owner/gm Johnny, got right back to me with a response. I thought that was very professional and the way a business should run. So, 11-11-15 Robyn Evans, the service advisor, got right on it. She took my car in, had Enterprise there with my rental car within minutes. Debbie seems to be the receptionist, as well as a big help in and around the office. She is helpful and courteous too. Several hours later Debbie called to tell me that my car was ready so I went to pick it up. (Service Manager) Vince Rejkowski, and his head mechanic personally went over the EPB "Emergency Parking Brake" issue with me. then I was on my way. That is until the light went on again just before arriving home :( So, you're wondering why the 5 Stars, right? Reason Why; Robyn immediately booked me in for service the next morning. Vince followed up with a call. They got me another rental car from Enterprise. As it turns out, the parking brake switch assembly was bad. Sh*t happens. No fault of anyone at 1st Kia. I could have been some type of a Prima Donna and thrown a fit, rant and raved, made a big deal about having to drive back and taking up a bit of my day. But really..why? It's a small inconvenience to me. The world doesn't revolve around me. And the main reason I bring this up is bigger than any Yelp review. It's mostly WHY I write. To make people "Think". Most recently, The people of Paris, and the world, suffered more heart breaking loss of life. It would be selfish of me to give any negative energy or blame to such a tiny issue. Think about that and other Real Devastation the next time you THINK you might have a problem. Simple perspective surrounds each and every one of us every day. Use it. It's a blessing. Pray for Paris and the World. And Thanks, 1st Kia of Simi Valley Sincerely, Brian Buzzini read more

Justin was very helpful and knowledgeable re: my vehicle concerns...when my vehicle was ready, Justin called me, as promised!

In my quest for a plug-in Kia Optima Hybrid, I contacted Jason, the online sales representative during the Memorial Day sale... he told me they did indeed have plug-in Optimas available, but when I told him I hadn't seen one in their online inventory in the last month, he backtracked and said whatever inventory they had "must have sold last night" but to still come in anyway. Interesting. So I head down to First Kia the next day and guess who isn't there? Jason. The rest of the guys on the staff were courteous and helpful, but this review is specifically for Jason and the internet department. read more

I took my 2008 Kia Sportage in for service and serviceman Jimmy also took care of two recall issues and advised me to replace the cabin filter which I did. They took me to work while the car was being serviced and offered to pick me up. I was pleasantly surprised to find out they did a complete inspection (all was good). And, even though it was a drizzly day, they washed and vacuumed it. Very pleased with their whole operation. I recommend them to anyone who needs service. read more

Worst place ever. It's disgustingly dirty. They stick you in some Shady place to wait for service. Asked them for a quote they gave me one when I said ok they came back with another one and said my original one was "off the table" AND they keep running my credit to the point I reported them. Won't be back. EVER. I'll take my business to Glendale which is an hour away. But the people are honest, helpful, its clean and i I don't have to carry pepper spray into the waiting area for my car to be serviced. read more

Always polite, pleasant, and professional service and attention....from our first contact with Robin.....then Vince comes to find out if everything was satisfactory...then back to Robin to then paying for the service that is always less than expected.....or nothing because it is covered.....We cannot think of anywhere else we would take our cars for service....it feels like we are visiting old friends every time we come here read more

I had an awesome experience at First kia of Simi Valley! I recently got in an accident hydroplaning on the freeway. Unfortunately, I totaled my car leaving me unable to commute to my job in Hollywood. I heard Simi Kia had great deals on great cars. I went in knowing how much I could afford to put down as a down payment. OMAR ABUZAID, my amazing salesmen, was able to work out a deal that I was willing to pay. Negotiation was a breeze and I got exactly what I wanted. It was a different experience from previous dealership visits and I owe it all to Omar! I highly recommend him. read more

This is my first review here, but we're on our 4th Kia & our son is on his 1st. 5 Kia's later & we keep coming back. We went to 1st Kia today to buy a 2020 Kia Soul. I had spent the better part of a week reviewing Souls all over Southern California and 1st Kia had the one I wanted. I actually test drove the car and I never do that. There was no hard pressure sales. We bought the Soul. Mark spent a lot of time reviewing all of the "extras".
