Finally, the power failed utterly to the problem circuits. Markarian sent Brandon Hill over in 15 minutes -- yes, FIFTEEN. He listened carefully to our description, gave his opinion that it was a utility problem, but that he would test for other possibilities first. After testing some of the circuits, he gave his hypothesis that we were having a phase problem: one of the two lines into the house was not supplying enough voltage. He tested the meter outside, showed us the low voltage on one line, and explained how the lines feed the circuits in a pattern that would cause the unpredictable outages. He also took pictures. He stood by while we called Eversource to make sure that we could answer all their questions. From initial call to final diagnosis, everyone at Markarian was efficient, courteous, and helpful. Brandon was friendly, professional, and easy to talk to and understand. I would recommend Markarian without hesitation.

We found John McHugh Electric on Yelp, and we couldn't be happier that we decided to work with him. We moved to an old house with a basement that had hazardous wiring and light fixtures that weren't properly connected to the switches. There were also double tapped circuits in the electrical panel. So we hired John to remove old wires and outdated light fixtures, rewire junction boxes, replace old cable with romex, and install new LED light fixtures and an additional sub panel to add more space for future use. And John did an impeccable job with Mike! Not only was he a great electrician who is extremely knowledgable and professional, he was also honest, respectful, transparent, and all in all a total pleasure to work with.
